This study compared region of interest (ROI) and voxel-based analysis (VBA) methods to determine the optimal method of myelin water fraction (MWF) analysis. Twenty healthy controls were scanned twice using a multi-echo T2 relaxation sequence and ROIs were drawn in white and grey matter. MWF was defined as the fractional signal from 15 to 40 ms in the T2 distribution. For ROI analysis, the mean intensity of voxels within an ROI was fit using non-negative least squares. For VBA, MWF was obtained for each voxel and the mean and median values within an ROI were calculated. There was a slightly higher correlation between Scan 1 and 2 for the VBA method (R2=0.98) relative to the ROI method (R2=0.95), and the VBA mean square difference between scans was 300% lower, indicating VBA was the most consistent between scans. For the VBA method, mean MWF was found to be more reproducible than median MWF. As the VBA method is more reproducible and gives more options for visualization and analysis of MWF, it is recommended over the ROI method of MWF analysis. 相似文献

In material processing, a laser system with optimal laser parameters has been considered to be significant. Especially, the laser ablation technology is thought to be very important for fabricating a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) module with good quality. Moreover, the TEM00 mode laser beam is the most dominant factor to decide the incident photon to current conversion efficiency (IPCE) characteristics. In order to get the TEM00 mode, a pin-hole is inserted within a simple pulsed Nd:YAG laser resonator. And the spatial field distribution is measured by using three pin-hole diameters of 1.6, 2.0 and 4.0 mm, respectively. At that moment, each case has the same laser beam energy by adjusting the discharge voltage and pulse per second (pps). From those results, it is known that the pin-hole size of 1.6 mm has the perfect TEM00 mode. In addition, at the charging voltage of 1000 V, 10 pps, the feeding speed of 6.08 mm/s and the overlapping rate (OL) of 62%, the scanning electron microscope (SEM) photograph of fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) thin film layers shows the best ablation trace. 相似文献

In the present study, the effects of different noise combinations on sleep were assessed in two contexts, with a single noise source and with combined noise sources. Road traffic noise, and construction or movie noise combined with road traffic noise were used as the single noise source and the combined noise sources, respectively. When the sound pressure level of road traffic noise was kept constant, levels of the construction and movie noise were changed. Twenty participants were followed for approximately 2 weeks, during which their sleep was evaluated using a questionnaire, including questions on sleeping behavior, premature awakening, and subjective responses. The results showed that the combined noise sources including construction noise decreased the number of participants who fell asleep within an hour and increased the number that were awakened prematurely compared to the effects of road traffic noise combined with movie noise. However, similar tendencies were observed while evaluating sleep quality, sleep disturbance, and annoyance. 相似文献

The gas-phase growth and optical characteristics of 1-dimensional ZnO nanostructure have been investigated. The ZnO nanowires (NWs) were grown vertically on Au coated silicon substrates by vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) growth mechanism using chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The ZnO NWs were grown in the crystal direction of [0 0 0 1]. The ZnO NWs exhibit the uniform size of less than 100 nm in diameter and up to 5 μm in length. Photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of ZnO NWs shows the strong band-edge emission at ∼380 nm (∼3.27 eV) without significant deep-level defect emission. The exciton lifetime of ZnO NWs was measured to be approximately 150 ± 10 ps. 相似文献

The transmission property of metallic films with two-dimensional hole arrays is studied experimentally and numerically. For a triangular lattice subwavelength hole array in a 150 nm thick Ag film, both cavity resonance and planar surface modes are identified as the sources of enhanced optical transmissions. Semi-analytical models are developed for calculating the dispersion relation of the cavity resonant mode. They agree well with the experimental results and full-wave numerical calculations. In this study we investigated properties of ZnO thin films deposited on both oxygen-containing substrates and a substrate without oxygen content at various O2/Ar reactant gas ratios. Deposition of ZnO on indium-tin oxide (ITO) resulted in the best crystallinity, whereas the least degree of crystallization was observed from ZnO deposited on glass. All the films were found to have compressive stress, which was relieved by annealing in O2 environment. ZnO films deposited on glass revealed p-type conductivity when prepared at O2/Ar ratio of 0.25 whereas those on SiNx yielded p-type conductivity when prepared at O2/Ar ratio of 4. In addition, shallower oxygen interstitial seemed to be found from films with better crystallinity. The largest shift in binding energy of Zn2p3/2 was observed from ZnO prepared on glass at O2/Ar ratio of 0.25, whereas that of O1s was obtained from ZnO deposited on SiNx at O2/Ar ratio of 4. A model was proposed in terms of O2 diffusion and hydrogen desorption in order to account for the observed property variations depending on substrates and O2/Ar ratios. 相似文献
