Magneto-Optical Measurement of Organic Conductor Using Rotational Cavity System

We have developed a new magneto-optical measurement system using a rotational cavity system equipped with a millimeter vector network analyzer and a 14 T solenoid type super conducting magnet. The measurement can be performed in the transmission configuration down to 1.6 K. The results of the precise angular dependence measurement of quasi-one-dimensional organic conductor (DMET)₂I₃ using the new system are shown, and its Fermi surface will be discussed in connection with the previous reports.     

Exchange of stability and finite-dimensional dynamics in a bifurcation problem with marginally stable continuous spectrum

We consider solutions bifurcating from a spatially homogeneous equilibrium under the assumption that the associated linearization possesses continuous spectrum up to the imaginary axis, for all values of the bifurcation parameter, and that a real eigenvalue crosses the imaginary axis. For a model we investigate the nonlinear stability of the trivial solution with respect to spatially localized perturbations, prove the occurrence of a pitchfork bifurcation of equilibria and the nonlinear stability of the bifurcating equilibria, again with respect to spatially localized perturbations.     

Probing proton halo of the exotic nucleus28S by elastic electron scattering

Elastic electron scattering on the exotic light nucleus²⁸S is investigated in the plane wave Born approximation. The variation of the squared form factors of²⁸S with momentum transfer is compared with that of³²S. It is found that the behavior of the form factors near the second minimum (with a moderate momentum transfer) is sensitive to the alteration of the charge density distribution of halo protons in²⁸S. This indicates that elastic electron scattering can be a good probe of the structure of proton-halo nuclei.     

R13中混合型曲面保主曲率等距变形

本文研究了Minkowski空间R₁³曲面的等距变形问题.建立了R₁³中曲面的共形、等距等概念.推广了O.Bonnet和S.S.Chern关于欧氏空间的结论.对R₁³出现的新情况——曲面的中曲率梯度类光作了一定探讨,得出的主要结果为:非平坦的、允许保主曲率等距变形的曲面一定不是W-曲面.     

超短强激光脉冲在等离子体隧道中传输的理论与数值模拟研究

研究了超短强激光脉冲在非扰动抛物型部分电离的预等离子体隧道中的传输特性.从Maxwell方程出发得到了两个包含衍射、三阶强度非线性、等离子体散焦、等离子体隧道聚焦以及相对论自聚焦等效应在内的激光场演化方程，即折射率方程和哈密顿-雅可比方程.在此基础 上得到了激光在等离子体隧道中传输的包络方程以及光斑半径与传输距离、隧道宽度等初始 参量的关系. 关键词： 等离子体隧道聚焦 相对论自聚焦 势阱     

Synergistic effect of neutral donors on the extraction of zirconium(IV) by salicylaldoxime in dichloromethane

Liquid-liquid extraction of zirconium(IV) was investigated from dilute hydrochloric acid medium by salicyaldoxime (HA) in dichloromethane. The metal was spiked with ⁹⁵Zr and analyzed by its radioactivity. The effects of different donors, like trioctyl phosphine oxide (TOPO), triphenyl phosphine oxide (TPPO), tributyl phosphine oxide (TBPO), tributyl phosphate (TBP), trioctyl amine (TOA) and Amberlite LA-2 were studied. The adduct formation constants for both binary species (metal-ligand) and ternary species (metal-ligand-donor) were also calculated form the distribution data.One of the authors (S.B.) thanks The University of Burdwan for providing senior research fellowship to her. Nonlinear electrohydrodynamic instability of a finitely conducting cylinder: Effect of interfacial surface charges

The nonlinear electrohydrodynamic stability of cylindrical interface, supporting surface charge, among two conducting fluids is investigated. The two fluids are subjected to a radial electric field. The analysis based on the multiple scale technique. It is shown that the evolution of the amplitude is governed by two partial differential equations. These equations are combined to yield two alternate Schrödinger equations with cubic nonlinearity. One of which calculates the nonlinear cutoff electric field, separating stable and unstable disturbances, while the other is used to analyze the stability of the system. The stability criteria are analytically discussed and numerically confirmed. Numerical calculations resulted in set of graphs to indicate the stability picture of the considered system.

应用同步辐射小角x射线散射方法研究了由不同城市固体垃圾制备而成的活性炭的孔结构-结果发现利用木类、纸张、塑料这三类典型垃圾组分的热解残余物为原料制备中孔发达的活性炭是可行的-活性炭的形态和结构取决于垃圾热解残余物的组分和热解程度等因素- 关键词： 小角x射线散射 活性炭 分形维数 平均孔径     

静压下半导体微腔内激子与光子行为的研究

由于腔模与激子对压力的依赖关系不同,所以可以选择不同的压力使激子和光场处于不同的耦合状态,从而实现对耦合的调谐。利用这种办法,我们观测到了代表激子与光场强耦合作用的Rabi分裂。由于在我们现有样品结构中压力对激子本征行为的影响很小,与以前报道的温度、电场等调谐方式相比,这种调谐方法不仅可以有效地调谐半导体微腔内激子与腔模的耦合程度,而且能够保持激子的本征性质在整个调谐过程中基本不变。这有助于研究在强耦合过程中激子极化激元的本征性质。将实验结果与压力下激子与腔模耦合理论进行拟合,得出了正确的Rabi分裂值。
