The conditions for the phase transition to the ferroelectromagnetic phase in ferroelectric-ferromagnetic films through the mechanism of the loss of stability of the initial homogeneous state have been considered. The geometry of the domain structure and the temperature of the transition to the inhomogeneous state have been determined. The condition for the phase transition to the ferroelectromagnetic phase has been established and determined by the relationship between the temperature-dependent coefficients of the expansion of the thermodynamic potential into a series in terms of the polarization and magnetization vector components. The influence of free charge carriers on the geometry of the domain structure and the transition temperature has been studied. The possible existence of a single-domain state has been discussed. The permittivity of a multidomain sample has been determined. The feasibility of exploiting the studied material for nondestructive recording and reading of information has been noted.  相似文献

A new method of investigation of photoelectric properties of layered thin-film structures based on broadband Fourier spectroscopy exhibiting a harmonically modulated optical delay is proposed. In contrast to traditional approaches to study photoelectric properties, which are based on application of dispersive spectral devices, the proposed method allows not only simultaneously covering the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared spectral ranges, while demonstrating a wide dynamic range and high spectral resolution, but also easily varying low-frequency modulation of the action of light. The capabilities of the method are demonstrated using a polycrystalline organic heterostructure as an example. Its spectral sensitivity, speed, and specific detectivity are measured. A model and an equivalent electric circuit are proposed for explanation of the results of the measurements.  相似文献

A highly sophisticated pulsed laser deposition (PLD) chamber has recently been installed at the NANO beamline at the synchrotron facility ANKA (Karlsruhe, Germany), which allows for comprehensive studies on the PLD growth process of dielectric, ferroelectric and ferromagnetic thin films in epitaxial oxide heterostructures or even multilayer systems by combining in situ reflective high‐energy diffraction with the in situ synchrotron high‐resolution X‐ray diffraction and surface diffraction methods. The modularity of the in situ PLD chamber offers the opportunity to explore the microstructure of the grown thin films as a function of the substrate temperature, gas pressure, laser fluence and target–substrate separation distance. Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 grown on MgO represents the first system that is grown in this in situ PLD chamber and studied by in situ X‐ray reflectivity, in situ two‐dimensional reciprocal space mapping of symmetric X‐ray diffraction and acquisition of time‐resolved diffraction profiles during the ablation process. In situ PLD synchrotron investigation has revealed the occurrence of structural distortion as well as domain formation and misfit dislocation which all depend strongly on the film thickness. The microstructure transformation has been accurately detected with a time resolution of 1 s. The acquisition of two‐dimensional reciprocal space maps during the PLD growth has the advantage of simultaneously monitoring the changes of the crystalline structure as well as the formation of defects. The stability of the morphology during the PLD growth is demonstrated to be remarkably affected by the film thickness. A critical thickness for the domain formation in Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 grown on MgO could be determined from the acquisition of time‐resolved diffraction profiles during the PLD growth. A splitting of the diffraction peak into two distinguishable peaks has revealed a morphology change due to modification of the internal strain during growth.  相似文献

An automated in situ technique for the measurement of the director reorientation at a nematic-aligning photosensitive polymer interface during polarized UV light irradiation has been developed. Using this technique, the photoinduced azimuthal anchoring energy (≈20 merg cm-2) and the adsorption part of the latter (≈7 merg cm-2) have been evaluated for the E7-poly(vinyl cinnamate) system. The kinetics of the director reorientation have been shown to be a very slow process (≈1 h) and probably controlled by adsorption-desorption of liquid crystal molecules at the interface.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the pressure of saturated vapor of pyrazolone complexes of rare-earth elements Ln(PMIP)3 (where Ln = Y, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu; PMIP = 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-isobutyryl-5-pyrazolone) are studied via Knudsen effusion, and the enthalpy of their sublimation is determined.
