In the present communication, we report a model Hamiltonian to study the interplay between the two long range orders of anti-ferromagnetism
(AFM) and superconductivity (SC) in cuprate superconductors in presence of the intersite pairing effect. The BCS type but
non-phonon pairing mechanism is considered among the electrons of two equivalent ‘Cu’ sites. The pairing among the electrons of two nearest neighbour non-equivalent ‘Cu’ sites is included in the Hamiltonian and its effect on the interplay of SC and AFM is investigated. The Hamiltonian is solved
by the Green’s function method and the corresponding gap equations are calculated and solved selfconsistently. The influence
of model parameters like AFM coupling (λ), SC couling (λ1) and the coupling (λ2) for intersite superconducting interactions on the gaps (SC and AFM) are studied numerically and the results are reported. 相似文献
This paper reports on the structural and optical properties of Co-doped TiO2 thin films grown onto (0001)Al2O3 substrates by non-reactive pulsed laser deposition (PLD) using argon as buffer gas. It is shown that by keeping constant the substrate temperature at as low as 310 °C and varying only the background gas pressure between 7 Pa and 70 Pa, it is possible to grow either epitaxial rutile or pure anatase thin films, as well as films with a mixture of both polymorphs. The optical band gaps of the films are red shifted in comparison with the values usually reported for undoped TiO2, which is consistent with n-type doping of the TiO2 matrix. Such band gap red shift brings the absorption edge of the Co-doped TiO2 films into the visible region, which might favour their photocatalytic activity. Furthermore, the band gap red shift depends on the films’ phase composition, increasing with the increase of the Urbach energy for increasing rutile content. 相似文献
A series of (1 ? x)La0.67Ca0.33MnO3/(x)BaTiO3 composites has been synthesized by the solid state route. Microstructural and transport studies on these samples show a complete immiscibility between metallic ferromagnet, La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 (LCMO) and insulating ferroelectric, BaTiO3 (BTO). Temperature dependent electrical transport studies show evidence of both intrinsic and extrinsic colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) effects. Inclusion of BTO in LCMO phase results in high resistive samples with a metal-insulator transition at temperature Tp1 originating from intrinsic effect and another dominant metal-insulator transition at temperature Tp2 caused because of extrinsic effect. Tp2 decreases up to a certain percentage of BTO content above which this trend of variation is reversed. 相似文献
Jute fibres (Corchorus olitorius), were treated with argon cold plasma for 5, 10 and 15 min. Structural macromolecular parameters of untreated and plasma
treated fibres were investigated using small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), and the crystallinity parameters of the same fibres
were determined by using X-ray diffraction (XRD). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used to study the thermal behavior
of the untreated and treated fibres. Comparison and analysis of the results confirmed the changes in the macromolecular structure
after plasma treatment. This is due to the swelling of cellulosic particles constituting the fibres, caused by the bombardment
of high energetic ions onto the fibre surface. Differential scanning calorimetry data demonstrated the thermal instability
of the fibre after cold plasma treatment, as the thermal degradation temperature of hemicelluloses and cellulose was found
lowered than that of raw fibre after plasma treatment.

In the present work, radon concentrations were measured in surface and underground water samples in Faridabad District of Southern Haryana, India using an active radon monitor based on alpha scintillation technique and results have been inter-compared. The average radon concentration in the underground water samples was observed to be 4 times higher than in the surface water samples. The estimated annual effective dose varied from 5.7 to 58.5 μSvy?1 with an average of 24.2 μSvy?1 for underground water samples and 1.1 to 12.5 μSvy?1 with an average of 6.7 μSvy?1 for surface water samples. The estimated annual effective dose for both type of samples was found to be less than 0.1 mSvy?1, which is the safe limit as suggested by World Health Organisation and EU Council.
N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-palladium(II) complex (GO@NHC-Pd) was synthesized on graphene oxide (GO) support via a simple and cost-effective multistep approach. The spectroscopic, microscopic, thermal, and surface analyses of GO@NHC-Pd confirmed the successful formation of the catalyst. The investigation of catalytic activity showed that GO@NHC-Pd was very effective in Suzuki–Miyaura as well as Hiyama cross-coupling. Being heterogeneous in nature, GO@NHC-Pd was recovered after each reaction cycle easily and reused for up to nine and six cycles in Suzuki–Miyaura and Hiyama cross-coupling, respectively, without significant loss of activity. Further exploration of the supercapacitor performance of GO@NHC-Pd catalyst assembled in a two-electrode cell configuration shown a maximum attained capacitance of 105.26 F/g at a current density of 0.1 A/g with good cycling stability of 96.89% over 2,500 cycles. 相似文献
We report the selective functionalization of the 1H-imidazo[1,2-b]pyrazole scaffold using a Br/Mg-exchange, as well as regioselective magnesiations and zincations with TMP-bases (TMP = 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidyl), followed by trapping reactions with various electrophiles. In addition, we report a fragmentation of the pyrazole ring, giving access to push–pull dyes with a proaromatic (1,3-dihydro-2H-imidazol-2-ylidene)malononitrile core. These functionalization methods were used in the synthesis of an isostere of the indolyl drug pruvanserin. Comparative assays between the original drug and the isostere showed that a substitution of the indole ring with a 1H-imidazo[1,2-b]pyrazole results in a significantly improved solubility in aqueous media.A methodology for the selective functionalization of the 1H-imidazo[1,2-b]pyrazole scaffold has been developed and used in the synthesis of novel push–pull dyes and a non-classical isostere of the indolyl drug pruvanserin.相似文献
In this article, the novel (G′/G)-expansion method is successfully applied to construct the abundant travelling wave solutions to the KdV–mKdV equation with the aid of symbolic computation. This equation is one of the most popular equation in soliton physics and appear in many practical scenarios like thermal pulse, wave propagation of bound particle, etc. The method is reliable and useful, and gives more general exact travelling wave solutions than the existing methods. The solutions obtained are in the form of hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational functions including solitary, singular and periodic solutions which have many potential applications in physical science and engineering. Many of these solutions are new and some have already been constructed. Additionally, the constraint conditions, for the existence of the solutions are also listed. 相似文献
