A new series of transition-metal oxyhalides (MCl)LaNb(2)O(7) (M = Cr, Mn, Fe, Co) have been prepared by a simple topochemical route. Layered perovskite hosts (ALaNb(2)O(7), A = Li, Na, K or Rb) were reacted with the corresponding anhydrous metal halides under mild reaction conditions (<400 degrees C). The compounds were examined by X-ray powder diffraction; the series appears to be isostructural with (CuCl)LaNb(2)O(7), and the layer spacings, with the exception of M = Co, follow the trend expected from transition-metal cationic radii. Thermal analysis with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) shows the materials to be metastable where all four compounds decompose exothermically above 690 degrees C.  相似文献

X‐ray studies reveal that tert‐butyl (6S)‐6‐iso­butyl‐2,4‐dioxo­piperidine‐1‐carboxyl­ate occurs in the 4‐enol form, viz. tert‐butyl (6S)‐4‐hydroxy‐6‐iso­butyl‐2‐oxo‐1,2,5,6‐tetra­hydropyri­dine‐1‐carboxyl­ate, C14H23NO4, when crystals are grown from a mixture of di­chloro­methane and pentane, and has an axial orientation of the iso­butyl side chain at the 6‐position of the piperidine ring. Reduction of the keto functionality leads predominantly to the corresponding β‐hydroxy­lated δ‐lactam, tert‐butyl (4R,6S)‐4‐hydroxy‐6‐iso­butyl‐2‐oxo­piperidine‐1‐car­boxyl­ate, C14H25NO4, with a cis configuration of the 4‐hydroxy and 6‐iso­butyl groups. The two compounds show similar molecular packing driven by strong O—H⋯O=C hydrogen bonds, leading to infinite chains in the crystal structure.  相似文献

Six Ru2(6+) derivatives of the form Ru2(L)4(C[triple bond]CC6H5)(2), where L = 2-Fap, 2,3-F(2)ap, 2,4-F(2)ap, 2,5-F(2)ap, 3,4-F(2)ap, or 2,4,6-F(3)ap, are synthesized and characterized as to their electrochemical, spectroscopic, and/or structural properties. These compounds are synthesized from a reaction between LiC[triple bond]CC6H5 and Ru2(L)4Cl. Two of the investigated complexes exist in a (4,0) isomeric form while four adopt a (3,1) geometric conformation. These two series of geometric isomers are compared with previously characterized (4,0) Ru2(ap)4(C[triple bond]CC6H5)(2), (4,0) Ru2(F5ap)4(C[triple bond]CC6H5)(2), and (3,1) Ru2(F5ap)4(C[triple bond]CC6H5)(2). The overall data on the nine compounds thus provide an opportunity to systematically examine how the electrochemical and structural properties of these Ru2(6+) complexes vary with respect to isomer type and electronic properties of the bridging ligands.  相似文献

The design of a synthetic route to a class of enantiomerically pure phosphaalkene-oxazolines (PhAk-Ox) is presented. The condensation of a lithium silylphosphide and a ketone (the phospha-Peterson reaction) was used as the P=C bond-forming step. Attempted condensation of PhC(=O)Ox (Ox = CNOCH(iPr)CH(2)) and MesP(SiMe(3))Li gave the unusual heterocycle (MesP)(2)C(Ph)=CN-(S)-CH(iPr)CH(2)O (3). However, PhAk-Ox (S,E)-MesP=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?a) was successfully prepared by treating MesP(SiMe(3))Li with PhC(=O)CMe(2)Ox (52?%). To demonstrate the modularity and tunability of the phospha-Peterson synthesis several other phosphaalkene-oxazolines were prepared in an analogous manner to 1?a: TripP=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?b; Trip = 2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl), 2-iPrC(6)H(4)P=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?c), 2-tBuC(6)H(4)P=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?d), MesP=C(4-MeOC(6)H(4))CMe(2)Ox (1?e), MesP=C(Ph)C(CH(2))(4)Ox (1?f), and MesP=C(3,5-(CF(3))(2)C(6)H(3))C(CH(2))(4)Ox (1?g). To evaluate the PhAk-Ox compounds as prospective precursors to chiral phosphine polymers, monomer 1?a and styrene were subjected to radical-initiated copolymerization conditions to afford [{MesPC(Ph)(CMe(2)Ox)}(x){CH(2)CHPh}(y)](n) (9?a: x = 0.13n, y = 0.87n; GPC: M(w) = 7400?g mol(-1) , PDI = 1.15).  相似文献

Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensing has matured into a valuable analytical technique for measurements related to biomolecules, environmental contaminants, and the food industry. Contemporary SPR instruments are mainly suitable for laboratory-based measurements. However, several point-of-measurement applications would benefit from simple, small, portable and inexpensive sensors to assess the health condition of a patient, potential environmental contamination, or food safety issues. This Trend article explores nanostructured substrates for improving the sensitivity of classical SPR instruments and nanoparticle (NP)-based colorimetric substrates that may provide a solution to the development of point-of-measurement SPR techniques. Novel nanomaterials and methodology capable of enhancing the sensitivity of classical SPR sensors are destined to improve the limits of detection of miniature SPR instruments to the level required for most applications. In a different approach, paper or substrate-based SPR assays based on NPs, are a highly promising topic of research that may facilitate the widespread use of a novel class of miniature and portable SPR instruments.  相似文献

CO(2) is a major contaminant of renewable H(2) derived from biomass fermentation. The effect of the presence of CO(2) on the activity of alumina-supported Pt and Rh catalysts used for the hydrogenation of toluene at 348 K was investigated. The use of operando diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRIFTS) was crucial in unravelling the changes in the nature and abundance of species adsorbed at the sample surface and relating those to the changes of catalytic activity. Rhodium supported on alumina was only partly deactivated by the introduction of CO(2) during the hydrogenation of toluene, contrary to the case of Pt/alumina. Rh was only partially covered by carbonyl species derived from CO(2) and it was shown that toluene could successfully compete with some of the linearly adsorbed carbonyls for adsorption. The alumina support stored many CO(2)-derived adsorbates (carbonates, hydrogenocarbonates, carboxylates) that could spill over to the metal and form carbonyl species even after the removal of CO(2) from the feed.  相似文献

The synthesis of four GlcNAc(β1→4)Glc disaccharides containing 2-O-acetyl and/or 6-sulfate groups was performed in high yields with total 1,2-trans stereoselectivity. These disaccharides were evaluated as candidates for insect chitinase inhibition and aphicidal activity. All the compounds prepared displayed physiological effects on M. persicae aphids; however, the inhibition of chitinases of different sources (bacteria, fungus, and aphid) followed different patterns according to subtle structural characteristics.  相似文献

Classical all-atom molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and quantum mechanical (QM) time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculations are employed to study the conformational and photophysical properties of the first emitter excited state of tetramethyl-rhodamine iso-thiocyanate fluorophore in aqueous solution. For this purpose, a specific and accurate force field has been parameterised from QM data to model the fluorophore's first bright excited state. During the MD simulations, the consequences of the π→π* electronic transition on the structure and microsolvation sphere of the dye has been analysed in some detail and compared to the ground state behaviour. Thereafter, fluorescence has been calculated at the TD-DFT level on configurations sampled from the simulated MD trajectories, allowing us to include time dependent solvent effects in the computed emission spectrum. The latter, when compared with the absorption spectrum, reproduces well the experimental Stokes shift, further validating the proposed multilevel computational procedure.  相似文献
