An extensive series of push-push and pull-pull derivatives was prepared from the symmetrical functionalization of an ambivalent core with conjugated rods made from arylene-vinylene or arylene-ethynylene building blocks, bearing different acceptor or donor end-groups. Their absorption and photoluminescence, as well as their two-photon-absorption (TPA) properties in the near infrared (NIR) region, were systematically investigated to derive structure-property relationships and to lay the guidelines for both spectral tuning and amplification of molecular TPA in the target region. Whatever the nature of the core or of the connectors, push-push systems were found to be more efficient than pull-pull systems, and planarization of the core (fluorene versus biphenyl) always leads to an increase in the TPA cross sections. In contrast, increasing the conjugation length as well as replacement of a phenylene moiety by a thienylene moiety in the conjugated rods did not necessarily lead to increased TPA responses. The present study also demonstrated that the topology of the conjugated rods can dramatically influence the TPA properties. This is of particular interest in terms of molecular engineering for specific applications, as both TPA properties and photoluminescence characteristics can be considerably affected. Thus, it becomes possible to optimize the transparency/TPA and fluorescence/TPA efficiency trade-offs for optical limiting in the red-NIR region (700-900 nm) and for two-photon-excited fluorescence (TPEF) microscopy applications, respectively.  相似文献

The formation of adducts by reaction of active metabolites of two heterocyclic aromatic amines (NHOH-PhIP and NHOH-IQ) at nucleophilic sites of deoxynucleosides has been studied by LC-MS(n) analyses of the obtained reaction mixtures. Sequential MS(3) experiments were carried out on an ion trap mass spectrometer to gain extensive structural information on each adduct detected in the first MS step. Attribution of ions was supported by accurate mass measurements performed on an Orbitrap mass analyzer. Particular attention was given to ions diagnostic of the linking between the heterocyclic aromatic amine (HAA) and the deoxynucleoside. By this way, the structures of five adducts have been characterized in this study, among which two are new compounds: dG-N7-IQ and dA-N(6)-IQ. No depurinating adduct was found in the reactions investigated therein. As expected, the C8 and N(2) atoms of dG were found as the most reactive sites of deoxynucleosides, resulting in the formation of two different adducts with IQ and one adduct with PhIP. An unusual non-depurinating dG-N7-IQ adduct has been characterized and a mechanism is proposed for its formation on the basis of the reactivity of arylamines. A dA-N(6)-IQ adduct has been identified for the first time in this work, showing that HAAs can generate DNA adducts with bases other than dG.  相似文献

Since the C15 β‐end‐group aldehyde 10 ((β‐ionylidene)acetaldehyde), an excellent intermediate in the syntheses of retinoids, can be synthesized in many ways from β‐ionone, and since the corresponding acyclic C15 ψ‐end‐group aldehyde 5 can easily be synthesized from citral ( 1 ) (Scheme 3), we applied the C15+C5 route to the syntheses of γ‐retinal ((all‐E)‐ 8 ) (Scheme 3) and retinal ((all‐E)‐ 13 ) (Scheme 4), and therefore, by coupling (2×C20→C40), to the preparation of lycopene ( 14 ) and β‐carotene ( 15 ) (Scheme 5). Our new syntheses of retinal ((all‐E)‐ 13 ) and γ‐retinal ((all‐E)‐ 8 use an extended aldol reaction with a C6 building block that incorporates a C5 unit after decarboxylation.  相似文献

The synthesis of indole ring-fused benzazepinone series as latonduine derivatives has been developed via an intramolecular Heck reaction. The scope has been enlarged not only to indole moiety but also to pyrrolo and benzo[b]thiophene nuclei. Several derivatives prepared have been evaluated in vitro for their antiproliferative activities on breast cancer cell lines. Some of them showed promising cytotoxic activities.  相似文献

Electrodialysis (ED) is a membrane process used on a large scale. However, one of the common problems is fouling of ion-exchange membranes stacked in the cell. The use of pulsed power, consisting in applying a constant current density during a fixed time of application (Ton) followed by a pause duration (Toff), was demonstrated recently as an effective fouling mitigation method for electrodialysis. Up until now, no work has investigated the potential of electrodialysis using pulsed electric field on protein fouling. The aim of the present work was to study the influence of pulsed electric field (PEF) with a low frequency square shaped periodic signal (Ton = 10 s–Toff = 10 s, Ton = 10 s–Toff = 40 s) in comparison with dc current during electrodialysis of a casein solution at different current densities (10, 20 and 30 mA/cm2) on membrane fouling. It appeared from these results that PEF, under certain conditions of pulse, would avoid fouling on anion-exchange membranes. For 10 s–40 s pulsed electric field conditions, no fouling was observed with any density, while for 10 s–10 s PEF conditions, fouling appeared only at current density over 10 mA/cm2. dc current, whatever the current density conditions, led to a fouling on the diluate side of the AEM. Furthermore, when fouling occurred, magnitude layer thickness and dry weight increased with the applied current density. The nature of the fouling was identified as 97% protein. The protein fouling would be due to the dissociation of water molecules and/or heat increase at the anion-exchange membrane interface. The relaxation time of the pulse would limit both phenomena on the membrane.  相似文献
