The satellite structure in ESCA spectra of TiO2 and NiF2 is calculated in a simple model for different localization of the hole. The intensity ratio for the 3s satellite is found to be almost as large as the intensity ratio for the 2p satellite. It is suggested that the photoelectron spectrum for paramagnetic Ni2+ salts should be reinterpreted.  相似文献

Using the DFT Becke–Lee–Yang–Parr exchangecorrelation threeparametric functional (B3LYP), we have calculated the geometry, the electron density distribution, and the vibration frequencies for pyrrole, porphin, and their 13 analogs with a regularly varying structure. It is shown that the determining role in the change in the frequencies of stretching and outofplane deformation vibrations of porphin compared to pyrrole is played by intramolecular hydrogen bonds at the porphyrin macroring center. We have separately considered and compared with the data for porphin complexes of pyrrole with different intermolecular hydrogen bonds: with an aromatic ring (NH··· cluster formed by the pyrrole selfaggregation in the liquid state) and an unshared electron pair (NH···OH2 and NH···NC4H4 clusters). The degree of participation of the NH group in the hydrogen bonds increases in the series NH··· cluster, porphin, NH···OH2 and NH···NC4H4 clusters.  相似文献

Phenolic compounds released and generated during hydrolysis inhibit fermentation of lignocellulose hydrolysates to ethanol by Saccharomyces cerevisiae. A wide variety of aromatic compounds form from lignin, which is partially degraded during acid hydrolysis of the lignocellulosic raw material. Aromatic compounds may also form as a result of sugar degradation and dare present in wood as extractives. The influence of hydroxy-methoxy-benzaldehydes, diphenols/quinones, and phenylpropane derivatives on S. cerevisiae cell growth and ethanol formation was assayed using a defined medium and oxygen-limited conditions. The inhibition effected by the hydroxy-methoxy-benzaldehydes was highly dependent on the positions of the substituents. A major difference in inhibition by the oxidized and reduced form of a diphenol/quinone was observed, the oxidized form being the more inhibitory. The phenylpropane derivatives were examined with respect to difference in toxicity depending on the oxidation-reduction state of the γ-carbon, the presence and position of unsaturated bonds in the aliphatic side chain, and the number and identity of hydroxyl and methoxyl substituents. Transformations of aromatic compounds occuring during the fermentation included aldehyde reduction, quinone reduction, and double bond saturation. Aromatic alcohols were detected as products of reductions of the corresponding aldehydes, namely hydroxy-methoxy-benzaldehydes and coniferyl aldehyde. High molecular mass compounds and the corresponding diphenol were detected as products of quinone reduction. Together with coniferyl alcohol, dihydroconiferyl alcohol was identified as a major transformation products of conifery aldehyde.

The impact of the size of the charged group on the properties of alkoxylated NFC was studied by two chloroalkyl acid reagents. It was found that the employment of the larger 2-chloropropionic acid reagent leads to improved properties, e.g. higher fraction of nano-sized materials, and significantly better redispersion as compared to when the smaller monochloroacetic acid was employed. The differences in the impacts of the different reagents were hypothesized to be due to a more efficient disruption of the cohesion between the nanofibrils when a larger charged group was employed.  相似文献

A device used for temporary fracture fixation and primary fracture compression, intended for the optimal application of a fracture compression-fixation device, the X plate,1,2 is described. The instrument permits the lengthwise decrease of a fracture gap of up to 5 mm. This usually exceeds the clinical needs for fracture compression. The fracture holder has been used in the treatment of forearm shaft fractures and osteotomies in four recent cases. Gradual developments of the device are described.  相似文献
