In this article we study the operation of inf-convolution in a new direction. We prove that the inf-convolution gives a monoid structure to the space of convex k-Lipschitz and bounded from below real-valued functions on a Banach space X. Then we show that the structure of the space X is completely determined by the structure of this monoid by establishing an analogue to the Banach–Stone theorem. Some applications will be given. 相似文献

The use of an amorphous silicon-carbon alloy overcoating on silver nanostructures in a localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) sensing platform allows for decreasing the detection limit by an order of magnitude as compared to sensors based on gold nanostructures deposited on glass. In addition, silver based multilayer structures show a distinct plasmonic behaviour as compared to gold based nanostructures, which provides the sensor with an increased short-range sensitivity and a decreased long-range sensitivity. 相似文献

This paper reports the study of the Kr–Cl2 plasma chemistry in terms of the homogenous model of a dielectric barrier discharge and for two kinds of the applied voltage excitation shape. The effect of Cl2 concentration in the gas mixture, as well as gas pressure and power frequency on the discharge efficiency and the 222 nm photon generation, under typical experimental operating conditions, have been investigated and discussed. Calculations suggest that the overall conversion efficiency from electrical energy to ultraviolet emission in the lamp is in the range of 4.4–12 %, and it will be very affected at high chlorine percentage (>1 %) and high gas pressure (>200 Torr). A comparison between the sinusoidal and the burst excitation waveforms reveals that the burst excitation method provides an enhanced light source performance compared to the sinusoidal wave. 相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) method with B3LYP functional and 6-311++G(d,p) basis set has been used to predict the geometries, relative stabilities, electronic structures and bonding analysis of Mixed AlmBn?mH n 2? and CmBn?mH n 2?m (n = 6, 10, 12 and m = 1, 2) clusters; being compared to the BnH n 2? ones. Therefore, the DFT results suggest that the replacing of boron by aluminium or carbon is governed by Natural net charges following Gimar’s and Williams’s rules. The AlmBn?mH n 2? structures are relatively distorted compared to those of BnH n 2? and CmBn?mH n 2?m . In AlmBn?mH n 2? structures Al atoms prefer the adjacent sites, however for the C2Bn?2Hn cluster cages, the carbon atoms are positioned at diametrically opposed sites. The large HOMO–LUMO gaps show that the predicted clusters have chemical stabilities, principally, those of AlmBn?mH n 2? ones, which are not experimentally isolated. The optimized geometries obtained through boron substitution by Al and C lead to compactness and to contracted structures, respectively, where B–B bonds are the shortest in mono- and di-carbaboranes. 相似文献

In [7], Lyche and Schumaker have described a method for fitting functions of class C 1 on the sphere which is based on tensor products of quadratic polynomial splines and trigonometric splines of order three associated with uniform knots. In this paper, we present a multiresolution method leading to C 2-functions on the sphere, using tensor products of polynomial and trigonometric splines of odd order with arbitrary simple knot sequences. We determine the decomposition and reconstruction matrices corresponding to the polynomial and trigonometric spline spaces. We describe the general tensor product decomposition and reconstruction algorithms in matrix form which are convenient for the compression of surfaces.
