Cyclopropenes are highly strained three-membered carbocycles, which offer unique reactivity in organic synthesis. Herein, Cp*CoIII-catalyzed ring-opening isomerization of cyclopropenes to cobalt vinylcarbene has been utilized for the synthesis of multisubstituted allylarenes via directing group-assisted functionalization of C–H bonds of arenes and heteroarenes. Employing this methodology, various substituents can be introduced at all three carbons of the allyl moiety with high selectivity. The important highlights are excellent functional group tolerance, multisubstituted allylation, high selectivity, gram scale synthesis, removable directing group, and synthesis of cyclopenta[b]indoles. In addition, a potential cobaltocycle intermediate was identified and a plausible mechanism is also proposed.

Symmetric 1,1′‐dimethylferrocene derived Schiff‐base ligands have been prepared by the condensation reaction of 1,1′‐diacetylferrocene with 2‐aminopyrazine, 2‐aminopyridine and 2‐aminothiazole respectively. Their transition metal chelates, of the type [M(L)]Cl2 [M = Cu(II)] and [M(L)(Cl2)] [M = Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II)] have been prepared. Catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) are at the heart of water oxidation reactions. Despite continuous efforts, the development of OER/HER electrocatalysts with high activity at low cost remains a big challenge. Herein, a composite material consisting of TC@WO3@g‐C3N4@Ni‐NiO complex matrix as a bifunctional electrocatalyst for the OER and HER is described. Though the catalyst has modest activity for HER, it exhibits high OER activity thereby making it a better nonprecious electrocatalyst for both OER and HER and is further improved by g‐C3N4. The catalytic activity arises from the synergetic effects between WO3, Ni‐NiO, and g‐C3N4. A Ni‐NiO alloy and WO3 nanoparticles decorated on the g‐C3N4 surface supported toray carbon (TC) matrix (TC@WO3@g‐C3N4@Ni‐NiO) by a facile route that show an excellent and durable bifunctional catalytic activity for OER and HER in the alkaline medium are developed. This carbon nitride with binary metal/metal‐oxide matrix supported with TC exhibit an overpotential of 0.385 and 0.535 V versus RHE at a current density of 10 mA cm?2 (Tafel slopes of 0.057 and 0.246 V dec?1 for OER and HER, respectively), in 0.1 m NaOH . Colon-targeted capecitabine beads were formulated by an ionotropic gelation method. The sodium alginate to pectin ratio and chitosan concentration were optimized using a 32 full factorial design. Analysis of response surface plots allowed the identification of an optimized formulation with high drug entrapment and controlled release. Insignificant differences in observed and predicted values for responses validated the optimization method. Optimized beads possessed an average diameter of 1395 µm and good flow properties. Their production as spherical beads having a smooth surface was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy revealed the compatibility of drug with added excipients, while differential scanning calorimetry study confirmed complete drug entrapment in polymer matrix. Higher swelling of beads in phosphate buffer pH 7.4 was obtained in comparison to pH 6.8. An in vitro wash off test indicated 70% mucoadhesion by the beads. In vitro dissolution studies of beads loaded into enteric-coated capsules revealed negligible release in simulated gastric and intestinal fluid, followed by 49.23% release in simulated colonic fluid, in 4 h. The optimized beads were found to be stable for three months at 25 ± 2°C/60 ± 5% RH. In conclusion, the formulated beads showed colon-specific controlled release properties, and thus could prove to be effective for colon cancer treatment.  相似文献

Plate elements are used in many engineering applications. In-plane loads and deformations have significant influence on the vibration characteristics of plate elements. Numerous methods have been developed to quantify the effects of in-plane loads and deformations of individual plate elements with different boundary conditions based on their natural frequencies. However, these developments cannot be applied to the plate elements in a structural system as the natural frequency is a global parameter for the entire structure. This highlights the need for a method to quantify in-plane deformations of plate elements in structural framing systems. Motivated by this gap in knowledge, this research has developed a comprehensive vibration based procedure to quantify in-plane deformation of plate elements in a structural framing system. This procedure with its unique capabilities to capture the influence of load migration, boundary conditions and different tributary areas is presented herein and illustrated through examples.  相似文献

报道了水介质中金催化肌酸酐与不同靛红之间的醛醇缩合反应.该法无需繁杂的溶剂萃取和柱色谱技术,只需简单的过滤即可将产物分离出来,因而操作简单.通过较宽范围的靛红衍生物的反应,均可高产率并完全地制取相应的顺式醛醇缩合产物,因此该法表现出较高的通用性.还将该合成策略进一步拓展至靛红,肌酸酐和丙二腈的串联反应,可高产率、完全的制取反式多组分产物.采用分光光度法测定了合成产物的抗氧化性能,结果表明,与标准物相比,含有卤素原子的三个化合物(2c,2d和2e)表现出最高的活性.  相似文献

An atom‐efficient, catalyst‐free, and environmentally friendly approach towards the synthesis of substituted 1,4‐dihydroquinolines ( 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g , 5h , 5i , 5j ) through a one‐pot multicomponent reaction involving resorcinol, aromatic aldehyde, acetoacetanilide, and ammonium acetate has been developed. The reactions were carried out under both conventional and microwave irradiation conditions. In general, improvement in rate and yield were observed when reactions were carried out under microwave irradiation compared with classical conditions. Most of the new compounds possessed moderate to significant antibacterial and antifungal activities.  相似文献

Polymer dispersed liquid crystals (PDLCs) using nematic liquid crystal and photo-curable polymer (NOA 65) were prepared by polymerisation-induced phase separation technique, in equal ratio (1:1) of polymer and liquid crystal (LC). We demonstrate that doping of small amount (0.125%, wt./wt.) of multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and orange azo dichroic dye in PDLC generously controlled the molecular orientation, dynamics of LC in droplet and size of droplets. The effects of multiwall CNTs and dye on PDLCs were studied in terms of transition temperature, droplet morphology, transmittance characteristic, contrast ratio and response time. The results exhibited that the values of the threshold electric fields were reduced from 8 V/µm (pure PDLC) to 1.18 and 1.72 V/µm, doped with multiwall CNTs and dye, respectively. The CNTs-doped PDLC shows faster switching response as compared with pure PDLC and dye-doped PDLC. However, dye-doped PDLC shows much higher contrast among all PDLC samples. Further, the results also illustrate that the birefringence value of LC in PDLCs was changed with doping of CNTs and dye.  相似文献
