Iron(III) complexes with the general formula of [Fe (R-Himap)2]X and [Fe(R-Himat)2]X (Himap = shiff-base prepared from the condensation of 4-formylimidazole and 2-aminophenol, Himat = shiff base prepared from the condensation of 4-formylimidazole and 2-aminobenzenethiol, and R = H, Me, Ph; X = ClO4, NO3, BPh4) have been synthesized. The complexes have an N4O2 donor set or an N4S2 donor set. These complexes have 5 and 5 member rings around an iron(III) atom per one chelate ring, that is, "5-5 member rings". The crystal structure, Mössbauer spectra, magnetic properties and absorption spectra of the complexes were examined. In addition, [Fe (Himsa)2]ClO4 having "5-6 member rings" of an N4O2 donor set and [Fe (Ph-Himap)(Ph-imap)] obtained by the deprotonation of [Fe (Ph-Himap)2]ClO4 have been also synthesized, and the Mössbauer spectra and magnetic properties of those complexes were examined. The X-ray structure of a single crystal of [Fe (Himap)2]BPh4 was determined: C44H36N6BO2Fe, triclinic, space group P(# 2), a = 12.452(2) Å, b = 12.748(2) Å, c = 11.996(2) Å, = 103.97(1)°, = 90.78(1)°, = 84.70(1)° and Z = 2. The moiety of an iron atom of [Fe(Himap)2]BPh4 was a pseudo octahedron with an FeN4O2 geometry. [Fe(R-Himap)2]X was in high-spin state (about 5.9 B.M. at 80 K in solid state), and [Fe(R-Himat)2]X was in low-spin state (about 2.0 B.M. at 293 K). The complex [Fe(Himsa)2]ClO4 with "5-6 member rings" and the deprotonated complex [Fe(Ph-Himap)(Ph-imap)] were in the high-spin state (6.0 B.M. at 80 K). The high penetration of near-infrared (NIR) light makes it effective for use in selective reactions under light-shielded conditions, such as in sealed reactors and deep tissues. Herein, we report the development of phthalocyanine catalysts directly activated by NIR light to transform small organic molecules. The desired photocatalytic properties were achieved in the phthalocyanines by introducing the appropriate peripheral substituents and central metal. These phthalocyanine photocatalysts promote cross-dehydrogenative-coupling (CDC) under irradiation with 810 nm NIR light. The choice of solvent is important, and a mixture of a reaction-accelerating (pyridine) and -decelerating (methanol) solvents was particularly effective. Moreover, we demonstrate photoreactions under visible-light-shielded conditions through the transmission of NIR light. A combined experimental and computational mechanistic analysis revealed that this NIR reaction does not involve a photoredox-type mechanism with electron transfer, but instead a singlet-oxygen-mediated mechanism with energy transfer. 相似文献

The structure of iron oxide was controlled by regulating the hydrolytic polymerization of aquo iron complexes with organic
polydentate ligands such as diols. Iron oxides were prepared by calcining the precursor polymers obtained from iron nitrate
nonahydrate and diols. When the diols were 1,2-pentanediol, 1,2-hexanediol and 1,2-octanediol, α-Fe2O3 with corundum structure appeared exclusively or as the main crystalline phase, in spite of the amount of diol used and the
calcination temperature. In the case of 1,2-decanediol and 1,2-dodecanediol, when five moles of the diols were used to one
mole of iron nitrate and the calcination temperatures were below 400°C, ψ-Fe2O3 with spinel structure appeared as the main phase and, when less than five moles of the diols were used, α-Fe2O3 appeared exclusively or as the main phase, irrespective of the calcination temperature. This tendency was also observed in
thin films. Thus, a transparent magnetic film composed of γ-Fe2O3 could be prepared by applying a benzene solution of the iron polymer, obtained with 5 equivalents of 1,2-decanediol, on quartz

The preparation of mullite by the sol-gel method using organic polydentate ligands and the effect of the raw materials and
organic polydentate ligands on the formation of mullite were investigated. Two series of samples were prepared using tetraethoxyorthosilicate
(TEOS) and aluminum nitrate nonahydrate, or dibutoxyethylacetoacetatoaluminum (Al(OBu)2(AcAcEt)) as the silica and alumina sources, respectively, and using ethylene glycol (EG), 1,3-propanediol (PD), 1,3-butanediol
(BD), 2-methyl-2, 4-pentanediol (MPD), diethlene glycol monoethyl ether (DEME) and ethoxyethanol as the ligands. When the
alumina source was aluminum nitrate nonahydrate, mullite was apt to appear in the order of EG>PD>MPD. When Al(OBu)2(AcAcEt) was the alumina source, the tendency toward the appearance of mullite crystalline phase was EG>BD>DEME>MPD. Between
the two alumina sources, aluminum nitrate nonahydrate gave mullite much easier than Al(OBu)2(AcAcEt). These relationships were discussed from the viewpoints of the coordination ability of the ligands and the miscibility

Summary In the aqueous solutions of poly(N-vinylacetamide) in the presence of Na2SO4 or (NH4)2SO4, the intrinsic viscosities were small and the Huggins constants were large compared with those in water. Similar but much
less effects were observed for NaF. Opposite effects were found, however, for NaSCN. The poor solvent quality of aqueous sulfate
solutions was significantly improved by the addition of guanidine hydrochloride to 3 M or higher. Urea was much less effective
in improving the solvent quality. The different M28.8neffects observed between urea and GdnHCl may be explained by their different
binding affinities to amide group. Solubilization of PNVA flocculates induced by the presence of 0.8 M Na2SO4 took place by adding urea to 1 M, although only small changes were detected in the viscosity behavior accompanying the addition
of 1 M urea.

The results of this study show that disilathiane is an effective mediator in the synthesis of alkyl aryl sulfides with disulfides and alkyl carboxylates. Mechanistic studies suggest that disilathiane promotes cleavage of the sulfur–sulfur bond of disulfides to generate thiosilane as a key intermediate. Lipophilic acyclic dibenzopolyether diamides, 12 kinds, have been designed to prepare solvent polymeric membrane ion-selective electrodes (ISEs) for Pb(2+). The ionophores include 1,5-bis[2-(N,N-dialkylcarbamoylmethoxy)phenoxy]-3-oxapentanes1-4, 1,5-bis[2-(N,N-dialkylcarbamoylpentadecyloxy)phenoxy]-3-oxapentanes 5-8, and 1,2-bis[2-(2'-N,N-dialkylcarbamoylpentadecyloxy)phenoxy]ethanes 9-12. Linear response concentration range of the ISE based on 9 is 3 x 10(-2) - 1 x 10(-6) M of Pb(2+) (average slope = 28.5 mV decade(-1)). Potentiometric selectivities of the ISEs based on 1-12 for Pb(2+) over other heavy metal cations, alkali metal cations, and alkaline earth metal cations have been assessed. These ISEs exhibit remarkably high selectivities for Pb(2+) relative to heavy metal cations, such as Cu(2+), Fe(2+), and Ni(2+), the selectivity coefficients (K(Pot)(Pb,Cu)) being 5 x 10(-5) - 6 x 10(-5) for 1-4 and ca. 6 x 10(-4) for 9. For the Pb(2+) selectivities over alkali metal cations, such as Na(+) and K(+), 9 which has an ethylene glycol spacer and a N,N-diethyl group is superior to other dibenzopolyether diamide ionophores 1-8 and 10-12. 相似文献

Recently, high-performance nano-scale flow pumping systems have been developed for micro and miniaturized analysis systems. A novel device capable of measuring and monitoring nanoliter scale flow rates has been required for the further development of the pumping system. In this study, an atomic emission detector using helium radio-frequency plasma (RFP-AED) was used for the measurement of the nanoliter scale flow rate of water by quantitatively detecting the emission from hydrogen in the water molecules. Monitoring nano-flow rates of water in the range up to 1.0 microl min(-1), and the change in the flow rate by the indication of the ratio of the emissions of H (656.3 nm) and He (667.8 nm) were successful. At present, the lowest flow rate that could be determined reproducibly was 4 nl min(-1) calculated as five times the standard deviation of the background noise. Additionally, similar evaluations for the deviation of each flow rate by using the RFP-AED and a flow-injection system were produced. 相似文献
