Surface‐modified CdS nanoparticles selectively dispersed in hexagonally packed poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) cylinders of poly(styrene‐b‐ethylene oxide) (PSEO) block copolymers were prepared. The photoluminescence and ultraviolet–visible characteristics of the presynthesized CdS nanoparticles in N,N‐dimethylformamide and in PEO domains of the PSEO block copolymers were determined. Because of strong interactions between the CdS nanoparticles and PEO chains, as shown by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, the incorporation of the CdS nanoparticles prevented the PEO cylinders from properly crystallizing; this was confirmed by differential scanning calorimetry and wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction measurements. The intercylinder distance between the swollen and reduced‐crystallinity CdS/PEO cylinders in turn increased, as confirmed by small‐angle X‐ray scattering and transmission electron microscopy. At a high CdS concentration (43 wt % or 8.3 vol % with respect to PEO), however, the hexagonally packed cylindrical nanostructure of the PSEO diblock copolymers was destroyed. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In Part I of this series, it was shown that the number of points in a rank-n combinatorial geometry (or simple matroid) representable over GF(3) and GF(q) is at mostn 2. In this paper, we show that, with the exception ofn = 3, a rank-n geometry that is representable over GF(3) and GF(q) and contains exactlyn 2 points is isomorphic to the rank-n Dowling geometry based on the multiplicative group of GF(3).This research was partially supported by the National Science Foundation under Grants DMS-8521826 and DMS-8500494.  相似文献

A boson-fermion hybrid representation is presented. In this framework, a fermion system is described concurrently by the bosonic and the fermionic degrees of freedom. A fermion pair in this representation can be treated as a boson without violating the Pauli principle. Furthermore the “bosonic interactions” are shown to originate from the exchange processes of the fermions and can be calculated from the original fermion interactions. Both the formulation of the BFH representations for the even and odd nuclear systems are given. We find that the basic equation of the nuclear field theory (NFT) is just the usual Schrödinger equation in such a representation with the empirical NFT diagrammatic rules emerging naturally. This theory was numerically checked in the case of four nucleons moving in a single-j shell and the exactness of the theory was established.  相似文献

Various CdS nanostructures, including nanoparticle film, bundles of quasi-aligned and well-aligned nanowires, were fabricated with a non-catalytic and template-free MOCVD process. The well-aligned CdS nanowires exhibit unusually high field emission current densities of 225 mA cm(-2) at the applied electric field of 20 V microm(-1).  相似文献

Many public goods that are provided by coalitions have a group-size effect. Namely, people prefer to consume a public good in a larger coalition. This paper studies local public goods games with anonymous and separable group-size effect. The core is nonempty when coalition feasible sets are monotonic and players’ preferences over public goods satisfy a condition called cardinal connectedness. Continuous-wave irradiations cross polarization and its variations had not been a popular choice for sensitivity enhancement in paramagnetic solids due to the large spectral broadening and the effect of fast relaxation on both the source and target spins. Furthermore, with the application of very-fast sample spinning, which is the prerequisite for high-resolution purposes, polarization transfer over a large bandwidth is further degraded. In this work, we report a wideband sensitivity enhancement in paramagnetic solid with our recently developed technique, simultaneous adiabatic spin-locking cross polarization, SADIS CP. Experiments were demonstrated with Cu(II)(d,l-alanine)2 · H2O under high-static field of 14.1 T and very-fast sample spinning of 31 kHz.  相似文献

Diindeno-fused 1,12-diphenylbenzo[c]phenanthrene 15 and 1,14-diphenyl[5]helicene 20 were prepared in a four-step synthetic sequence from 2,7-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and 3,6-phenanthrenedicarboxylic acid, respectively. The X-ray structures of 15 and 20 show that the fused ring systems possess severe helical twists. A phosphorus-containing tri-ethoxysilane (dopo-icteos) reacting from the nucleophilic addition reaction of 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene 10-oxide (dopo) and 3-(trieoxysilyl) isocyanate (icteos) was synthesized. The structure of dopo-icteos was confirmed by 1H, 13C, 31P NMR and IR spectra. A triethylamine catalyzed mechanism for the dopo-icteos synthesis was proposed and verified by NMR spectra. The phosphorus-containing epoxy/SiO2 and polyimide/SiO2 nanocomposites were prepared from the in-situ curing of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA)/4,4-diaminodiphenylmethane(DDM)/dopo-icteos, and imidization of poly(amic acid) of pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA)/4,4′-oxydianiline (ODA)/dopo-icteos, respectively. The microstructure and morphology were investigated by 29Si NMR, scanning electron microscope (SEM), EDS (Si and P mapping) analysis and atomic force microscope (AFM). The thermal properties, flame retardancy and dielectric properties of the organic-inorganic hybrids were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), limiting oxygen index (LOI), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and dielectric analyzer (DEA).  相似文献
