氯铝酸室温离子液体介质中正碳十二烯选择环化反应

 在氯化1－丙基－3－甲基咪唑（PMImCl）、氯化1－丁基－3－甲\r\n基咪唑（BMImCl）、氯化1－丁基吡啶（BPCl）和溴化1－乙基吡啶（E\r\nPBr）季铵盐与AlCl3构成的室温离子液体介质中，首次发现正十二碳烯\r\n（简称十二烯）可以高选择性地发生环化反应生成环十二烷．依次在反\r\n应管中加入氯铝酸室温离子液体、乙醇和十二烯，其中AlCl3的量为0．\r\n01mol，AlCl3与季铵盐的摩尔比为2，乙醇为10ml，十二烯为2ml（9．\r\n3mmol）．当反应体系中不添加乙醇时，十二烯转化率和环十二烷选择\r\n性仅分别为4．2％和73．1％．这是由于十二烯和氯铝酸离子液体形成\r\n两相体系而不易充分接触，故十二烯转化率和环十二烷选择性较低．当\r\n反应体系中加入乙醇时，十二烯和氯铝酸离子液体体系变为单相，使得\r\n十二烯和氯铝酸离子液体可以充分接触，十二烯转化率和环十二烷选择\r\n性可分别达到12．4％和82．9％．压力对提高十二烯转化率和环十二烷\r\n选择性有很大的影响．p（N2）＝3．0～6．0MPa下反应12h，十二烯转\r\n化率和环十二烷选择性可分别达到27．2％和93．8％．反应结束后加热\r\n除去乙醇，产物自动与离子液体分层，便于分离，且离子液体介质可重\r\n复使用．     

透明导电玻璃(ITO)基材自加热传感静态芯片聚合酶链反应(PCR)

利用商品化ITO玻璃导电层的温阻效应, 无需任何微加工手段, 实现了自加热和传感的芯片温度自动程序控制, 最大程度地减小了传感滞后对温度控制稳定性的影响, 温度控制的稳定性达到了0.2 ℃, 升温速度最快可达20 ℃/s以上, 在冷却风扇辅助下降温速度最快达到了8 ℃/s. 芯片温控单元的引线从传统的两对(一对用于传感, 一对用于加热)减少为一对. 通过在该芯片上直接构建多个开放微池反应器的方法成功地实现了λDNA 157 bp片段的并行扩增. 将该芯片置于倒置荧光显微镜样品台上, 以蓝色(575 nm)发光二极管为光源, 以光电倍增管为检测手段检测了dsDNA和SYBR Green Ⅰ嵌合物的荧光强度随温度的实时变化曲线.

Facts and artifacts about aromatic stability estimation

The stability of a set of 105 five-membered π-electron systems (involving aromatic, non-aromatic and anti-aromatic species) was evaluated using six isodesmic reactions of which two belong to the subclass of homodesmotic reactions, which are based on cyclic and acyclic reference systems. We demonstrate that the ‘Resonance Energies’ derived from isodesmotic schemes have obvious flaws and do not correct or cancel other contributions to the energy, such as the changes of hybridization, homoconjugation of heterosubstituted cyclopentadienes, conjugative interactions of CC or CX (X=N or P) with a π or pseudo π orbital at Y (Y=O, S, NH, PH), strain, etc. as effectively as possible. Likewise, ‘aromatic stabilization energies (ASE)’ derived from homodesmotic schemes based on the acyclic reference compounds do not give satisfactory results. We strongly recommend that only cyclic reference compounds should be used for ASE and other aromaticity evaluations. The analysis is based on ab initio optimized geometries at B3LYP/6-311+G^∗∗.     

High-performance liquid chromatography of in vitro synthesized poly(ADP-ribose) on ion-exchange columns, separation of oligomers of varying chain length and estimation of apparent branching

Separated macromolecular fractions of in vitro synthesized poly(ADP-ribose) by liver nuclei were subjected to ion-exchange chromatography in a programmed high-performance liquid chromatographic elution system. The effects of ionic strength, pH and temperature on the separation of poly(ADP-ribose) chains were determined. Short chain oligomers (up to n = 11) were fractionated into individual components by baseline separation. Each fraction was analyzed for chain length. Trace amounts of Ado(P)Rib(P)Rib(P) found in phosphodiesterase digests were taken as indication of apparent branching. In phosphodiesterase digests of the shorter oligomers, besides traces of the above component, two other digestion products were also observed, presumably representing oligomer termini, one terminal fragment being dominant in short oligomers. Medium and long chain oligomers were partly resolved to individual components, and especially the long oligomers exhibited marked temperature dependent elution patterns. Apparent branching increased with increasing chain length up to about 3% for n = 44 and components presumably indicating termini diminished to mere traces. The adenine spectra of all fractions identified individual components.     

Syntheses,structures and electrochemical properties of ruthenium(II/III) complexes with tetradentate Schiff base ligands

Three unsymmetrical tetradentate Schiff base ligands, H₂salipn, H₂salipn-Br₄ and H₂salipn-Cl₂, have been synthesized from the typical condensation reactions of treating 1,2-diaminopropane with salicylaldehyde, 3,5-dibromosalicylaldehyde and 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde, respectively. Treatment of [RuCl₂(PPh₃)₃] with one equivalent of H₂salipn or H₂salipn-Br₄ in the presence of triethylamine in tetrahydrofuran (THF) afforded the corresponding ruthenium(III) complexes [Ru^IIICl(PPh₃)(salipn)] (1) and [Ru^IIICl(PPh₃)(salipn-Br₄)] (2). Interaction of [RuHCl(CO)(PPh₃)₃] with one equivalent of H₂salipn-Cl₂ or H₂salipn-Br₄ under the same conditions led to isolation of ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru^II(CO)(PPh₃)(salalipn-Cl₂)] (3) and [Ru^II(CO)(PPh₃)(salalipn-Br₄)] (4), respectively, in which one of the imine bonds was nucleophilically attacked by hydride to result in the formation of a mixed imine-amine ligand. The molecular structures of 1?1.5CH₂Cl₂, 2, 3?0.5CH₂Cl₂ and 4 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The electrochemical properties of 1–4 were also investigated. Their cyclic voltammograms displayed quasi-reversible Ru(IV)/Ru(III) and Ru(III)/Ru(II) couples with E^o ranging from 0.67 to 1.05 V and 0.74 to 0.80 V vs. Ag/AgCl (0.1 M), respectively.     

Microwave- and photoirradiation-induced staudinger reactions of cyclic imines and ketenes generated from alpha-diazoketones. A further investigation into the stereochemical process

Reactions of ketenes generated from alpha-diazoketones with a series of acyclic and cyclic imines were investigated under both microwave and photoirradiation conditions. The results indicate that the zwitterionic azabutadiene-type intermediates yielded from imines and ketenes undergo a conrotatory ring closure exclusively to produce beta-lactams. It is notable that no Woodward-Hoffmann product was found under the ultraviolet irradiation. The photoirradiation-induced Staudinger reaction shows a different stereoselectivity from the electrocyclic reaction of substituted 1,3-butadiene.

Visual detection of cysteine and homocysteine

The determination of cysteine and homocysteine levels is of great current interest for the monitoring of desease states. A new colorimetric method for the simultaneous detection of l-cysteine and l-homocysteine has been developed. A fluorescein derivative reacts with the above amino acids, producing their respective thiazolidines resulting in color changes. Interference from other amino acids and proteins is minimal.
