The organic nonlinear optical material of 4-bromo-4'chloro benzylidene aniline (BCBA) was synthesized and single crystal of BCBA was grown from acetone solution by solvent evaporation method at room temperature. Its three dimensional structure was elucidated from single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis at 173 K. Synthesized compound of BCBA was subjected to FTIR and (1)H and (13)C NMR spectral analyses. The range and percentage of optical transmission of BCBA was determined by UV-vis-NIR spectrum and its fluorescence spectrum was recorded using spectrofluorometer. The mechanical strength of the crystal was estimated using Vickers microhardness test on the (001) plane. Dielectric constant of the grown crystal was measured for various frequencies along (001) plane. The third order nonlinear optical properties of BCBA were investigated by Z-scan technique with He-Ne laser radiation of wavelength at 632.8 nm and the corresponding nonlinear refractive index, absorption coefficient and optical susceptibility were calculated.  相似文献

Profound research has been done on the medicinal value of Brassica nigra (BN) seeds, and the leaves of the plant have been investigated in this study. The methanol extracts of the leaves were subjected to several in?vitro studies. The antioxidant activity of methanol extract was demonstrated with a wide range of concentration, 10-500?μg?mL(-1), and the antioxidant activity increased with the increase in concentration. Total phenol content was found to be 171.73?±?5.043 gallic acid equivalents and the total flavonoid content 7.45?±?0.0945 quercetin equivalents. Further quantification and identification of the compounds were done by HPTLC and GC-MS analyses. The predominant phenolic compounds determined by HPTLC were gallic acid, followed by quercetin, ferulic acid, caffeic acid and rutin. The free radical quenching property of BN leaf extract suggests the presence of bioactive natural compounds.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this work, diagnosing of reunion of human tibia fracture across limbs using a simple mathematical model is demonstrated. At present in practice, the fracture reunion is predicted using repeated radiographs. Frequent exposure to such radiation causes harmful health effects in patients. Hence, as an alternative, modelling technique using electrical data recorded across patients stimulated with DC electric voltage of range 0.1–1V is proposed. Various model structures, namely P1D and P1DZ models were tried. An error analysis was performed and it was observed that the measured data fitted P1DZ model with an error less than 5%. Model parameters namely process gain and time constant were observed. When the model parameter process gain becomes constant, the time constant reduces significantly indicating the healing of fracture. Reunion was also confirmed with simultaneously taken radiographs. The fact that human bone is a biological semi-conductor therefore exhibits electrical properties and bone does behave like a capacitor is proved by empirical methods in our study is the novelty of the work.  相似文献

The first monocarbenepalladium(0) complexes with benzoquinone and naphthoquinone as additional ligands have been prepared. As demonstrated by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray analysis, the complexes show a unique coordination mode giving quinone-bridged dimers. The monocarbenepalladium(0) complexes allow efficient cross-coupling reactions of aryldiazonium salts with olefins (Heck reaction) and arylboronic acids (Suzuki reaction).  相似文献

Natural fibers extracted from plants play a major role as reinforcement in polymer composite materials due to their superior properties. This work aims to comprehensively characterize the physical and chemical properties of Ipomoea staphylina fibers (ISFs), which are extracted from the stem of the Ipomoea staphylina plant. The ISFs show cellulose content (72.76 wt%), hemicelluloses content (13.6 wt%), density (1401 kg cm?3), and tensile strength of 173–658 MPa with a strain rate of 2.03–6.63%. The thermal stability of ISFs illustrate that the fibers are stable up to a temperature of 311°C with kinetic activation energy of 99.82 kJ mol?1.  相似文献

An unique Schiff base ligand, formed by the condensation reaction of 2‐aminobenzothiazole with curcumin and its Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II) and Zn(II) complexes incorporating 2,2′‐bipyridine as coligand were synthesised. They were characterized via analytical and spectroscopic methods. The complexes adopt square planar geometry. Their antimicrobial activity and photocatalytic efficiency on Congo red dye molecule were explored. It is found that all the complexes are antimicrobial active and show higher activity than the ligand. The nuclease activity of the above metal complexes was also assessed by absorption titration, fluorescence, viscosity and gel electrophoresis assay. The complexes bind CT DNA through intercalation mode. The data reveal that the above synthesised metal(II) complexes are found to be effective metallonucleases. The gel electrophoresis results exhibit that the metal complexes cleave pBR322 plasmid DNA in presence of hydrogen peroxide effectively compared to the ligand. The synthesised metallonucleases should lead to a new era for the logical sketch of dominant agents for probing and targeting nucleic acids. This exploration reveals that Cu(II) complex has a valued biological and photochemical profile.  相似文献

A magnetic separator attached in a zig zag flow channel assembly has been fabricated to detect myoglobin on the micro particles. An anti‐myoglobin conjugated magnetic hybrid and myoglobin conjugated silica micro particles were prepared and used for myoglobin detection on channel. For the detections, the competitive assay principle was followed based on affinity interaction of anti‐myoglobin‐myoglobin. The caliberation curve was plotted based on the deposit percentage of myoglobin conjugated silica micro particles. The calibration curve of the myoglobin showed the linear range between 1 × 10?8 ‐ 5 × 10?11 (M) (R2 = 0.9944). The minimum detectable concentration was 300 pg/mL. Hence all that concludes that, the application of zig zag flow channel with magnetic separator has offered new, simple and rapid approach for detecting myoglobin in whole blood samples with in 30 min.  相似文献

MIL-101(Cr) template method has been employed successfully to synthesize CuCr2O4/CuO composite. The synthesized sample was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, N2 adsorption–desorption isotherm (BET) analysis, and UV vis- diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-DRS). The photocatalytic efficiency of the nanocomposite was evaluated towards the degradation of methylene blue (MB) dye and antibiotic tetracycline (TC) solution. The morphological studies confirmed that the CuO was uniformly dispersed on the CuCr2O4 matrix. The CuCr2O4/CuO nanocomposite showed high degradation efficiency of about 90% in the presence of H2O2 where the MB degradation reaction got completed in a mere 35 min and ~95% TC got degraded within 120 min.  相似文献

Three synthesized piperidin-4-one oximes,3-ethyl-2,6-diphenyl-piperidin-4-one oxime(A),1-methyl-3-isopropyl-2,6-diphenyl-piperidin-4-one oxime(B),and 3-isopropyl-2,6-diphenyl-piperidin-4-one oxime(C),were tested at different concentrations to determine their ability to inhibit corrosion of mild steel in 1 mol.L-1 H2SO4 and measured by a mass loss method(at various temperatures),polarization and impedance measurements,X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),and a quantum chemical method.The synergistic influence of compounds A,B and C with iodides has also been evaluated.All three compounds show good inhibition efficiency in the following order:A>B>C.Compounds A,B and C were found to physically adsorb on the surface of mild steel while obeying the Temkin isotherm.Polarization measurements indicated that these compounds behave as a mixed mode inhibitor.XRD and SEM with EDS studies revealed the formation of a protective barrier on the mild steel surface by these oximes.The electron donating ability of the studied molecules was tested using semi empirical methods.The studies revealed that the oxime nitrogen,the piperidine moiety,and the phenyl ring assist largely in corrosion control.The studies also showed that the steric crowding by the alkyl group in the piperidine ring affects the inhibitor efficiency.Further,it is interesting to note that all of the studied compounds exhibit synergism with iodide ions.  相似文献

Molybdenum-doped cadmium oxide films were prepared by a spray pyrolysis technique at a substrate temperature of 300?°C. The effect of doping on structural, electrical and optical properties were studied. X-ray analysis shows that the undoped CdO films are preferentially oriented along the (111) crystallographic direction. Molybdenum doping concentration increases the films?? packing density and reorients the crystallites along the (200) plane. A?minimum resistivity of 4.68×10?4????cm with a maximum mobility of 75?cm2?V?1?s?1 is achieved when the CdO film is doped with 0.5?wt.% Mo. The band-gap value is found to increase with doping and reaches a maximum of 2.56?eV for 0.75?wt.% as compared to undoped films of 2.2?eV.  相似文献
