The hydrothermal synthesis, single crystal X-ray structures and magnetic properties of two layered cobalt-carboxylate complexes, ∞2[CoII(O2C∗CH(OH)C6H5)2] (1) and ∞2[CoII(O2C∗CH(NH2)C6H5)2] (2), where O2CCH(OH)C6H5 is mandalate and O2CCH(NH2)C6H5 is phenylglycinate, are described. Pale pink crystals of 1 and 2 were obtained by the reaction of cobalt nitrate and the enantiomer-pure acids at 120 °C. In each case, the structure consists of stacks of quasi square-grid polymeric sheets consisting of carboxylato- bridges, M-O-C-O-M, and the presence of both d- and l-enantiomers of the ligands segregated on each face of the layer. The ligands exhibit both chelating and bridging functions with the carboxylate group adopting an anti-anti mode. The magnetic properties are characteristic of weakly interacting paramagnets where the moments are elevated by an important orbital contribution via spin-orbit coupling. 相似文献

Pure rotational spectra of S235Cl2 and S235Cl37Cl have been observed using a Fourier-transform microwave spectrometer. An analysis of the hyperfine structure made by considering the nuclear spin statistics showed that S2Cl2 has C2symmetry, where the hyperfine splittings due to the two Cl nuclei were analyzed precisely. The nuclear quadrupole coupling constants including the off-diagonal (χab, χac, χbc) components and the nuclear spin–rotation interaction constants associated with the two Cl nuclei have been determined for the first time. Cathodoluminescence (CL) from InGaN grown on GaN hexagonal pyramid structures has been investigated. The facet structure can be controlled by the growth temperature and reactor pressure. GaN pyramid structures surrounded with facets were grown at 1020 C at a pressure of 500 Torr by low-pressure metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy (LP-MOVPE). The indium mole fraction in the InGaN film depends on the facet structure. The thickness of the InGaN and the peak wavelength and intensity of the CL from the InGaN gradually increased from the bottom to the top of the facets. 相似文献

A tin-doped indium oxide (ITO) film on a SiO2 substrate was prepared by photo-irradiation of spin-coated nanoparticles using a Xe excimer lamp and a KrF excimer laser.
The effects of the excimer lamp and the excimer laser on the resistivity, mobility, and carrier concentration of the film
were investigated. To better understand how to control the microstructure of the film, we investigated the effect of thickness
on the resistivity of a film prepared by the two-step process, and found that the resistivity was higher in a thicker film.
Using two-step irradiation plus one-step KrF irradiation in N2 at room temperature, we produced an ITO film with lowest resistivity of any in this study. The electrical resistivity of
this film was 5.94×10−4 Ω cm. On the other hand, when using a simple thermal process, the resistivity of a film sintered at 500°C in N2 was 4.10×10−3 Ω cm. The differences in resistivity are discussed on the basis of the microstructure of the films using atomic force microscopy

Highly efficient frequency conversions were conducted to obtain deep-ultraviolet single-mode coherent light by use of two-stage external cavities. A power of 154 mW at approximately 252 nm was obtained with a conversion efficiency of more than 8% by doubly resonant sum-frequency mixing of 373-nm light from the first-stage conversion and 780-nm light from a single-mode Ti:sapphire laser. The output performance of the deep-ultraviolet light source is sufficient for use in the laser cooling of neutral silicon atoms. 相似文献

Based on the fact that anthracene (Anth) possesses much higher similarity in electron-releasing ability to porphyrin nucleus than the other polyacenes, the dimeric octaethylporphyrin (OEP) derivatives 4 and 5 (OEP–Anth–OEP) were synthesized and their structure–property relationships were examined, as compared with related OEP dimers 1–3. Among them, the derivative 4 showed enormously high electronic communication between two terminal OEP rings, potentially providing a suitable unit of the electronic structure for molecular design of the OEP devices operating with less energy and with higher sensitivity to outside stimuli. 相似文献

ABSTRACTWe present a new fabrication approach to achieve a high birefringence film by means of photopolymerization based on an alkylthio-containing rod-like liquid crystalline molecule exhibiting large temperature dependence of birefringence. We designed a new reactive mesogen having alkylthio linkages (BPM–S). It was found that BPM–S had a larger increment of birefringence with decreasing temperature, relative to commercially available alkoxy analog LC242. This result could be thought to be due to enhanced intermolecular attractive interaction for an alkylthio mesogen implied by the proximity of laterally neighboring molecules and cybotactic nematic tendency based on wide-angle X-ray measurement. Forced fluid flow can cause the enhancement of multibubble sonoluminescence (SL) under suitable conditions. The effect of directional flow with a circulator is similar to that of rotating flow with a stirrer. The mechanism of the enhancement is that both flows prevent cavitation bubbles from coalescing and clustering, which are responsible for the quenching of SL. The intensity of sonochemiluminescence (SCL) in an aqueous luminol solution increases with flow speed at higher ultrasonic powers more significantly than that of SL in distilled water. However, in the range of low ultrasonic power, the intensities of SL and SCL decrease with flow speed. Therefore, an optimum flow speed exists in relation to ultrasonic power and frequency. 相似文献
