Comparison of the elastic and inelastic scatterings between152Sm+12C and148 Nd+16O

Angular distributions of elastic and inelastic scattering have been measured for¹⁵²Sm+¹²C at 63.2 MeV and¹⁴⁸Nd+¹⁶O at 90.9 MeV. An evident interference pattern in the inelastic scattering has been observed for the first time in a strong Coulomb coupling system.We are indebted to Dr. S. Studies on the Interaction of Beryllon Ш with Proteins by Voltammetric Technique and its Application

A new quantitative determination method of proteins using beryllon Ш by voltammetric technique was developed in this paper. In pH 3.5 Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffer solution, beryllon Ш can bind with human serum albumin (HSA) to form an electro-inactive supermolecular complex. Beryllon Ш has a well-defined voltammetric reduction peak at -0.38 V (vs. SCE) and the addition of protein in this solution can cause the decrease of the reductive peak current. Based on the decrease of the reduction peak current, a new electrochemical method for the determination of HSA was established with linear range of 1.0~40.0 mg/L and the detection limit of 1.0 mg/L. This method is further applied to the determination of real sample of healthy human serum.     

稀土离子对大鼠肝细胞核脂质过氧化的影响

用光度法测定丙二醛 (MDA)研究不同浓度La3 +,Ce3 +,Pr3 +,Nd3 +,Eu3 +对大鼠肝细胞核脂质过氧化的影响。结果表明 :稀土离子在 1×10 - 4 ～ 1× 10 - 6mol·L- 1 浓度范围内能抑制振荡温育或H2 O2 引起的脂质过氧化 ,且与浓度正相关。但是对大鼠肝细胞核用稀土离子处理一定时间 ,稀土离子Eu3 +对脂质过氧化的抑制作用明显减弱 ,甚至会导致脂质过氧化加强

New unsaturated polyesters as injectable drug carriers

New unsaturated polyesters of poly(fumaric acid-glycol-sebacic acid) copolymers and poly(maleic anhydride-glycol-sebacic acid) copolymers were prepared by melt polycondensation of the corresponding mixed monomers: sebacic anhydride, fumaric acid or maleic anhydride and glycol. Methyl-methacrylate (MMA) was used as crosslinker and dimer acid was used as thinner.In vitro studies showed that those copolymers are degradable in phosphate buffer at 37 °C and poly(fumaric acid-glycol-sebacic acid) has proper drug release rate as drug carriers. The biocompatibility of poly(fumaric acid-glycol-sebacic acid) copolymers under mice skin was also evaluated; macroscopic observation and microscopic analysis demonstrated that the copolymer is biocompatible and well tolerated in vivo. The injected poly(fumaric acid-glycol-sebacic acid) [molar ratio M_{fumaric acid}:M_glycol:M_{sebacic acid} = 1.75:2.20:0.25] containing 5% adriamycin hydrochloride (ADM) in the mice bearing Sarcoma-180 tumor exhibited a good antitumor efficacy. The volume doubling time (VDT) (18 ± 2.5 days) of the tumor growth by this treatment was longer than that (7 ± 0.9 days) by the subcutaneous injection of ADM.     

Two New Steroidal Glycosides from Fermented Leaves of Agave americana

Two new spirostanol glycosides named agamenoside A and B, ere isolated from the fermented leaves of Agave americana. Their structures were elucidated as (23S,25R)-5α-spirostan-3β,6α，23－triol 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→3)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-[β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)]-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-galactopyranoside(1) and (25R)-5α-spiro-stan-3β,6α-diol 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-[β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)]-β-D-glucopyra-nosyl-(1→4)-β-D-galactopyranoside(2) by a combination of chemical and spectral methods.

Electrochemical studies on the interaction of heparin with crystal violet and its analytical application

In this paper, crystal violet (CV) was used to determine heparin concentration by linear sweep voltammetry on a dropping mercury electrode (DME). In Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffer solution, pH 3.0, CV had a well-defined second-order derivative linear sweep voltammetric reductive wave at −0.74 V (vs. SCE). After the addition of heparin to the CV solution, the reductive peak current decreased greatly with the positive movement of the peak potential and without appearance of new peaks in the scanning potential range. Based on the decrease in the reductive peak current, a new voltammetric method for the determination of heparin was established. The conditions for the interaction and the electrochemical detection were optimized, and interfering substances were investigated. Under the optimal conditions, the decrease in reductive peak currents of CV was proportional to heparin concentration in the range 0.1–8.0 mg/L with the linear regression equation Δip″(nA) = 400.42 + 1563.11c (mg/L), (n = 14, γ = 0.993). The detection limit was 0.092 mg/L. This new method was further successfully applied to the determination of heparin content in heparin sodium injection samples with satisfactory results.
