Local density approximation plus on-site Coulomb interaction U band structure calculations reveal that SrRuO3 exhibits a half-metallic ground state with an integer spin moment of 2.0 microB/SrRuO3. An associated tilting 4dt2g orbital ordering on a Ru sublattice is observed under the on-site Coulomb interaction U in the presence of lattice distortion. This finding unravels the on-site Coulomb correlation as the driving force of the 4d orbital ordering and Jahn-Teller distortion as well as of the half-metallic ground state.  相似文献

The fabrication of gold Fresnel zone plates, by a combination of e‐beam lithography and electrodeposition, with a 30 nm outermost zone width and a 450 nm‐thick structure is described. The e‐beam lithography process was implemented with a careful evaluation of applied dosage, tests of different bake‐out temperatures and durations for the photoresist, and the use of a developer without methylisobutylketone. Electrodeposition with a pulsed current mode and with a specially designed apparatus produced the desired high‐aspect‐ratio nanostructures. The fabricated zone plates were examined by electron microscopy and their performances were assessed using a transmission X‐ray microscope. The results specifically demonstrated an image resolution of 40 nm.  相似文献

The Mo/Ag/Au contact for flip-chip light-emitting diode (FCLED) applications is examined on its contact resistance and light reflectance. A high reflectance of 90% is achieved in un-annealed contact, but a strong inter-diffusion of ohmic metals and GaN during the annealing process is found to result in poor reflectance (55% at the wavelength of 465 nm). The secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) depth profiles indicate that a wide inter-diffusion region existed in the annealed contacts; thus the low reflectivity of the Mo/Ag/Au-annealed contacts can be attributed to the strong inter-diffusion of Au and Ag.  相似文献

This work experimentally investigates the heat transfer characteristics in the annulus with an inner rotating rib-roughness cylinder, whose flow and thermal behaviors are associated with Taylor number (Ta) and centrifugal buoyancy parameter (Gr Ω/Ta). The operating range of Ta is from 4.90 × 102 to 5.80 × 105, while the surface of the inner cylinder is heated up with several constant heat fluxes (279, 425 and 597 W/m2) to obtain various values of Gr Ω/Ta. Besides, three modes of the inner cylinder without/with longitudinal ribs are considered. The end of the annular channel is connected to a side chamber to fit practical applications (such as in the rotary blade coupling of a four-wheel-drive vehicle). The experimental results show that the average Nusselt number was almost constant at low Ta, but increased rapidly with Ta when Ta exceeded some critical value (3,000–5,200 for present study). Additionally, the Gr Ω/Ta effect on the heat transfer was negligible herein. Furthermore, by comparing with the inner cylinder without longitudinal ribs, stalling ribs on the inner cylinder increases the transport of heat by a factor of 1.22 at 105 < Ta < 106, and embedding cavities into the ribs increases the transport of heat by a factor of 1.16 at 105 < Ta < 106. Finally, the relationships between the and the Ta for various modes of test sections were proposed.  相似文献

This paper develops a linear heterodyne interferometer based on phase-locked extraction for measuring low optical rotation angle. The validity of the proposed design is demonstrated by measuring a half-wave plate. The average relative error in the measured rotation angle of the half-wave plate is determined as just 0.74%. When applied to the measurement of glucose solutions with concentrations ranging from 0 to 1.2 g/dl, the average relative error in the measured rotation angle of glucose solutions is determined to be 1.46%. The correlation coefficient between the measured rotation angle and the glucose concentration is determined to be 0.999991, while the standard deviation is just 0.00051°. The current system is capable of measuring glucose concentration as low as 0.01 g/dl with an error of 6.67% in the rotation angle measurement. Overall, the experimental results demonstrate the ability of the proposed system to obtain highly accurate measurement of the optical rotation angle.  相似文献

Recent work investigating excitation effects on an acoustically excited jet flow is reported. Emphasis is placed on integrated visualization and high-resolution and digital image processing, sequential planar gas concentrations and some characteristics of the large-scale vortical structures of acoustically excited jet flow, such as multiple-eddy merging, vortex-braids formation, eddy evolution and entrainment processes, jet-boundary expansion, etc. The digital image processing technique employed here extends our previous work (Chao et al. 1990) to optimal threshold filtering of the background noise and in situ calibration of camera and illumination distortions. A compact, low-cost, automatic frame acquisition and analysis system is developed for mean and r.m.s. planar gas concentrations and automatic jet-boundary identification. Also, stroboscopic images are created for detailed sequential study of a quick-changing process using a low framing-rate camera by suitably controlling the acoustic excitation frequency and the jet flow.A version of this paper will be presented at the second symposium on experimental and numerical flow visualization, 1991 ASME Winter Annual Meeting, Atlanta, GA, Dec. 1–6, 1991  相似文献

A phosphorus-containing epoxy resin, bis(3-t-butyl-4-glycidyloxyphenyl-2,4-di-t-butylphenyl)resorcinol diphosphate, was synthesized and subsequently cured with non-phosphorus containing amines, and/or novel phosphorus-containing aromatic or polyoxyalkylene amines. Chemical structures of these materials were characterized with FTIR, NMR, elemental analysis, and amine titration. The introduction of soft -P-O- linkage, polyoxyalkyene, or hard aromatic group into the backbones of the synthesized phosphorus-containing amines provides epoxy polymers with high phosphorus contents and tailored flexibility. Thermal analysis of differential scanning calorimeter and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) reveals that these resulted epoxy polymers possess moderate Tgs and thermal stability. Furthermore, high char yields in TGA analysis and high limited oxygen index values indicate that these phosphorus-containing epoxy polymers possess excellent flame retardant properties.  相似文献

2‐(6‐Oxido‐6H‐dibenzo〈c,e〉〈1,2〉oxa‐phosphorin‐6‐yl)1,4‐benzenediol (ODOPB) and bis(3‐dihydroxyphenyl) phenyl phosphate (BHPP) were successfully synthesized and used as reactive flame retardants in o‐cresol formaldehyde novolac epoxy resin. Because of the rigid, cyclic, side‐chain structure of ODOPB, the resultant phosphorus‐containing epoxy resin exhibited a higher glass‐transition temperature, better flame retardancy, higher modulus, and greater thermal stability than the regular bromine‐containing tetrabromobisphenol A epoxy resin and the linear, main‐chain, phosphorus‐containing BHPP epoxy resin. A UL‐94VO rating was achieved with a phosphorus content as low as 1.1% with ODOPB (comparable to a bromine content of 12% and a phosphorus content of 2.2% with BHPP) in the cured resins, and no fumes or toxic gas emissions were observed. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
