The kinetics of cleavage reactions of seven resin-bound thiophenol esters with three amines has been studied by single-bead FTIR. The reactivity of these seven thiophenol esters was dependent on their structures and could be summarized as follows: 5-benzimidazolecarboxylic thiophenol ester > alkyl thiophenol ester > aromatic thiophenol ester. The reactivity of three amines was summarized as follows: n-butylamine > 3,4-dimethoxyphenethylamine > 1-piperonylpiperazine. The rate of the cleavage reaction increased 2-fold per 10 degrees C rise in reaction temperature. Oxidation of the thiophenol linker increased the rate of the cleavage reaction by 580-fold.  相似文献

We report the development of a sensitive and specific color test for the detection of the presence of resin-bound aldehyde groups using 4-amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole (Purpald). Aldehyde resin turns dark-brown to purple after a 5 min reaction followed by a 10 min air oxidation period. Resins that possess other functional groups (i.e., ketone, ester, amide, alcohol, and carboxylic acid) do not change color under the same conditions. The detection limit is 20 micromol/g for polystyrene-based aldehyde resins.  相似文献

Ultra violet-visible (UV-Vis) and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra of Nd doped phosphate glasses have been studied before and after gamma irradiation in order to understand the changes in the optical properties of glasses as well as to find the characteristics frequencies of the vibrational modes of chemical bonds, which decide the structural and spectral changes. UV, Vis, IR absorption and photoluminescence spectra of these glasses show changes depending on the composition of glass matrix. These changes are correlated on the basis of oxygen (O) and neodymium (Nd) concentration ratio obtained from energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopic (EDX) measurement. Gamma irradiation shows decrease in transmission below 700 nm for all the Nd3+ absorption lines from all the samples. Differential absorption spectra (UV-vis) of the samples before and after gamma irradiation show generation of some new bands below 700 nm along with dips (decrease) in the spectrum at the location of main Nd3+ absorption lines. This is attributed to the generation of different types of defects in the glass matrix along with possibility of change in the valence state of Nd3+ to Nd2+. IR absorption spectra of these glasses are found dominated mainly by the characteristics phosphate groups and water (OH) present in the glass network. The effects of gamma irradiation on IR absorption are observed in the form of bond breaking and possible re-arrangement of bonding. EDX and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) measurements indicate decrease in the relative concentration of oxygen in the glass samples after γ-irradiation.  相似文献

Natural germanium and selenium consist of, respectively, five and six stable isotopes. Several of these isotopes have considerable abundances and one should expect to observe the bands of at least six isotopic variants of germanium monoselenide (GeSe). In this paper, for the first time, the results of the high-resolution electronic spectrum of the main transition A1Π-X1Σ+ of the specific isotopomer 74Ge80Se, excited in a microwave discharge and recorded in the 33 500-26 000 cm−1 region using a Fourier transform spectrometer, is discussed. From the rotational analysis of 25 bands involving v″ = 0-12 and v′ = 0-7, accurate vibrational and rotational constants of the A1Π state are determined. The present study has revealed perturbations in the v′ = 6 and 7 levels of the A1Π state.  相似文献
