The surface topography and characteristics of a local piezoelectric-response signal in isotropic films of a ferroelectric vinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer with a composition of 94: 6 are studied via scanning probe microscopy. The X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy data indicate that crystallization occurs in a mixture of β and γ polymorphic modifications. The exposure of the original film to a dc field bipolar leads to the formation of polarized regions exhibiting low stability. Recrystallization is followed by structural transformations accompanied by conformational transitions. As a result, there is a decrease in the concentration of chain segments in the T3GT3G? conformation and, conversely, an increase in the concentration of isomers in the planar zigzag conformation. In addition, the characteristics of the local piezoelectric response after polarization become more stable, while the signal undergoes phase reversal. A second-harmonic piezoelectric response signal induced by the electrostriction effect is detected for the studied ferroelectric polymer samples. It is found that the original film has two types of regions that contribute to the measured signal. A change in the pattern of the second-harmonic piezoelectric-response signal in the recrystallized film is attributed to a change in the contribution of the electrostriction effect to the macroscopic piezoelectric response. 相似文献

A change in the contact properties of the surface of tetrafluoroethylene-vinylidene fluoride copolymer films by a dc discharge treatment has been studied, depending on the treatment time and the discharge current. It has been shown that the treatment of the films at the anode and cathode leads to a significant decrease in the contact angle and an increase in the total surface energy and its polar term. The change in the contact properties of the plasma-modified films during storage and heating has been studied as well. The experiments have shown that the formation of polyconjugated structures and crosslinking of macromolecules take place in the film surface layer during long-term treatment at the anode (>60 s, 50 mA), processes that result in an acetone-insoluble layer. The composition and surface structure of the films have been examined by Fourier-transform IR spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The formation of new oxygen-containing groups and double bonds on the polymer surface and crosslinking of macromolecules in the case of anode treatment have been revealed. It has been found experimentally that the discharge treatment increases the peel strength in the Scotch® 810/copolymer film system. 相似文献

The intramolecular hydrogen bond (intra-HB) is one of the best-known examples of non-covalent interactions in molecules. Among the different types of intramolecular hydrogen bonding, the NH⋅⋅⋅O hydrogen bond in amino-alcohols and amino-ethers is one of the weakest. In contrast to the strong OH⋅⋅⋅N intramolecular hydrogen bond, the strength of the NH⋅⋅⋅O bond can hardly be measured with conventional spectroscopic methods, even for simple amino-alcohols, since the band belonging to the NH⋅⋅⋅O conformer merges with the free OH band. In this work, we developed a combination of G4 calculations, and a method based on experimental vaporization enthalpies to determine the NH⋅⋅⋅O hydrogen bonding strength. The archetypal compounds for this study are 2-amino-1-ethanol and 3-amino-1-propanol as well as their respective methoxy analogs. Based on these molecules, different series were studied to investigate various factors influencing NH⋅⋅⋅O intra-HB strength. In the first series, the influence of alkylation near the hydroxy or methoxy group and the amino group in sterically hindered aminoalcohols was examined. In the second series, the influence of alkylation of the amino-group was investigated. In the third series, the effect of extending the alkyl chain between functional groups was studied. 相似文献

A convenient synthetic approach to novel functionalized bis(isoxazoles), the promising bivalent ligands of the AMPA receptor, was elaborated. It was based on the heterocyclization reactions of readily available electrophilic alkenes with the tetranitromethane-triethylamine complex. The structural diversity of the synthesized compounds was demonstrated. In the electrophysiological experiments using the patch clamp technique on Purkinje neurons, the compound 1,4-phenylenedi(methylene)bis(5-aminoisoxazole-3-carboxylate) was shown to be highly potent positive modulator of the AMPA receptor, potentiating kainate-induced currents up to 70% at 10−11 M. 相似文献

Chemical transformations resulting from irradiation of the poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC)–triallyl cyanurate (TAC) system were studied by IR spectroscopy. It was shown that crosslinking was accompanied by scission of the network structure formed in the initial dose range, and the scission process occurred even at small irradiation doses.
