Abstract

Springs on Roztocze and Lublin Upland have been studied. Isotopic data are compared with data of chemical analyses. The results of studies allow us to distinguish five types of groundwaters. The differentiation is based upon different lithology; opokas, gaizes, sandy-silty-clay deposits, sands with shell sandstones, marly opokas, marly limestones and soft limestones of chalk type. A correlation can be observed between δ34S and the concentration of Ca or Mg ions also a correlation between HCO3 ? ion concentration and δ18O in sulphates. Probably these correlations are the result of some simultaneous processes, which occur in groundwater. The seasonal variations of the isotopic composition and sulphate concentration were observed in four springs feeding the upper Wieprz. The variations were simultaneous and often similar in these springs. Probably, these variations are caused by the admixture of sulphates coming from shallow water layers (or leached from soil); however the variations of the groundwater level may also change chemical and isotopic composition in groundwater.  相似文献

The [13C]methacetin breath test ([13C]MBT) – a valuable non-invasive tool dedicated to the assessment of the liver metabolic capacity – still needs standardisation. The aim of this study was to check whether currently used dosage regimens of [13C]methacetin provide concordant [13C]MBT results in subjects with an atypical body constitution. Healthy volunteers: low body mass<55 kg (eight women), and high body mass>95 kg (eight large body frame men) were recruited. They underwent [13C]MBT on separate days, taking in random order [13C]methacetin: a fixed 75 mg dose (FX75), or a 1 mg kg?1 body mass-adjusted dose (BMAD). Samples of expiratory air for 13CO2 measurement were collected over 3 h. The maximum momentary 13C elimination in breath air occurred earlier and was higher following BMAD than with FX75 in the low body mass females (T max 14.6±1.0 min vs. 22.1±2.4 min, p=0.019; D max 41.9±2.9 % dose h?1 vs. 36.6±3.6 % dose h?1, p=0.071). In the high body mass men, T max remained unchanged, whereas D max was slightly higher with BMAD compared to FX75 (21.5±3.2 min vs. 23.0±3.0 min; 38.5±2.9 % dose h?1 vs. 32.3±2.5 % dose h?1). It is concluded that in subjects with a body constitution outside the general population average, the dosage of the substrate may affect some results of the [13C]MBT. The dosage-related differences appear, however, to be insignificant if the result of the [13C]MBT is reported as a cumulative 13C recovery in breath air.  相似文献

The significant effect of hydrostatic pressure on the difficult organocatalytic 1,4-conjugate addition of nitroalkanes to prochiral sterically congested β,β-disubstituted enones is demonstrated. This approach allows for the synthesis of γ-nitroketones containing quaternary stereogenic centers with good yields, excellent enantioselectivity, and low loading (1-5 mol %) of simple chiral primary amine catalysts.  相似文献

This study presents a selective method of isolation of zearalenone (ZON) and its metabolite, α-zearalenol (α-ZOL), in neoplastically changed human tissue by accelerated solvent and ultrasonic extractions using a mixture of acetonitrile/water (84/16% v/v) as the extraction solvent. Extraction effectiveness was determined through the selection of parameters (composition of the solvent mixture, temperature, pressure, number of cycles) with tissue contamination at the level of nanograms per gram. The produced acetonitrile/water extracts were purified, and analytes were enriched in columns packed with homemade molecularly imprinted polymers. Purified extracts were determined by liquid chromatography (LC) coupled with different detection systems (diode array detection - DAD and mass spectrometry - MS) involving the Ascentis RP-Amide as a stationary phase and gradient elution. The combination of UE-MISPE-LC (ultrasonic extraction - molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction - liquid chromatography) produced high (R ≈ 95–98%) and repeatable (RSD < 3%) recovery values for ZON and α-ZOL.  相似文献

Thermoresponsive hydrogels with efficient water‐release channels were prepared by incorporating star‐shaped macromolecular pore precursors, with degradable disulfide crosslinked cores and hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) arms, into the gel network. The gel framework exhibiting lower critical solution temperature (LCST) behavior was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of 2‐(2‐methoxyethoxy)ethyl methacrylate and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate. The incorporation of degradable star macromolecules (dSM) was facilitated by growing the gel from ATRP initiator sites contained within their cores. Following the formation of the gel, the dSM cores were degraded, yielding uniform pores lined with hydrophilic PEO chains. The effect of hydrophilic pores on thermoresponsive hydrogel performances was studied by comparing hydrogels containing hydrophilic pores with analogous hydrogels with neutral pores or with pore‐free controls. Dye absorption/release experiments pointed to the suitability of newly synthesized hydrogels as controlled‐release media, for example, for drug delivery. Cell culture experiments confirmed their nontoxicity and biocompatibility (cell viability>98 %).  相似文献

High molecular weight polystyrene (PS) was synthesized by ATRP. Under atmospheric pressure (1 bar), PS with Mn up to 200,000 was prepared using either ARGET or ICAR ATRP. Under high pressure (6 kbar), higher molecular weight PS could be obtained due to accelerated radical propagation and diminished radical termination in polymerization of styrene. Therefore, it was possible to synthesize PS with Mn > 1,000,000 and Mw/Mn < 1.25 using AGET ATRP under a pressure of 6 kbar at room temperature. This is the highest molecular weight linear PS prepared by a controlled radical polymerization.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of lead(II) in the oxygen donor solvents water, dimethylsulfoxide (dmso, Me(2)SO), N,N-dimethylformamide (dmf), N,N-dimethylacetamide (dma), N,N'-dimethylpropyleneurea (dmpu), and 1,1,3,3-tetramethylurea (tmu), as well as in the sulfur donor solvent N,N-dimethylthioformamide (dmtf), has been investigated by extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) and/or large angle X-ray scattering (LAXS) in solution, and by single crystal X-ray diffraction and/or EXAFS of solid hydrates and solvates. Lead(II) may either form hemidirected complexes with large bond distance distribution and an apparent gap for excess electron density, or holodirected ones with a symmetric coordination sphere with normal bond distance distribution, depending on the strength of antibonding lead 6s/ligand np molecular orbital interactions and ligand-ligand interactions. The crystallographic data show that the solid lead(II) perchlorate and trifluoromethanesulfonate hydrate structures are hemidirected, while the solid lead(II) solvates of dma and dmpu have regular octahedral configuration with holodirected geometry and mean Pb-O bond distances in the range 2.50-2.52 ?. EXAFS data on the hydrated lead(II) ion in aqueous solution show broad bond distance distribution and a lack of inner-core multiple scattering contributions strongly indicating a hemidirected structure. The Pb-O bond distances found both by EXAFS and LAXS, 2.54(1) ?, point to a six-coordinate hydrated lead(II) ion in hemidirected fashion with an unevenly distributed electron density. The results obtained for the dmso solvated lead(II) ion in solution are ambiguous, but for the most part support a six-coordinate hemidirected complex. The mean Pb-O bond distances determined in dmf and dma solution by LAXS, 2.55(1) and 2.48(1) ?, respectively, indicate that in both solvate complexes lead(II) binds six solvent molecules with the former complex being hemidirected whereas the latter is holodirected. The dmpu and tmu solvated lead(II) ions have a regular holodirected octahedral configuration, as expected given their space-demanding characteristics and ligand-ligand intermolecular interactions. The dmtf solvated lead(II) ion in solution is most likely five-coordinate in a hemidirected configuration, with a mean Pb-S bond distance of 2.908(4) ?. New and improved ionic radii for the lead(II) ion in 4-8-coordination in hemi and holodirected configurations are proposed using crystallographic data.  相似文献

Electrophilic quenching of a carbene-stabilized π-boryl anion with the Br?nsted acid Et(3)NHCl provides a convenient synthetic route to the parent NHC-stabilized 1-hydroborole, which isomerizes to the corresponding 3-hydroborole via two successive nondegenerate [1,5]-sigmatropic hydrogen migrations. Molecular recognition plays a fundamental role in all biological processes, and that is why great efforts have been made to understand and predict protein–ligand interactions. Finding a molecule that can potentially bind to a target protein is particularly essential in drug discovery and still remains an expensive and time‐consuming task. In silico, tools are frequently used to screen molecular libraries to identify new lead compounds, and if protein structure is known, various protein–ligand docking programs can be used. The aim of docking procedure is to predict correct poses of ligand in the binding site of the protein as well as to score them according to the strength of interaction in a reasonable time frame. The purpose of our studies was to present the novel consensus approach to predict both protein–ligand complex structure and its corresponding binding affinity. Our method used as the input the results from seven docking programs (Surflex, LigandFit, Glide, GOLD, FlexX, eHiTS, and AutoDock) that are widely used for docking of ligands. We evaluated it on the extensive benchmark dataset of 1300 protein–ligands pairs from refined PDBbind database for which the structural and affinity data was available. We compared independently its ability of proper scoring and posing to the previously proposed methods. In most cases, our method is able to dock properly approximately 20% of pairs more than docking methods on average, and over 10% of pairs more than the best single program. The RMSD value of the predicted complex conformation versus its native one is reduced by a factor of 0.5 Å. Finally, we were able to increase the Pearson correlation of the predicted binding affinity in comparison with the experimental value up to 0.5. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
