The invariant mass spectrum of neutral meson states from π?p interactions at 40 GeV/c incident momentum has been investigated in a high statistics experiment performed at the 70 GeV IHEP accelerator. To detect the high energy photons coming from the produced neutral states, a hodoscope spectrometer with a computer on-line was used. A clear structure on the mass spectrum of dipions produced in the reaction π?p→π°π°n is observed at 2 GeV. The decay angular distributions show in this mass region the variation with mass typical of a state with a spin J = 4. The mass of the observed meson is found to be M = (2020±30)MeV and the estimate of the full width is (180±60) MeV.  相似文献

Background: Heterogeneous laborious analytical methodologies for the determination of urinary lactulose and mannitol limit their utility in intestinal permeability testing. Methods: We developed an assay using a Shimadzu HPLC system, an Aminex HPX87C column, and refractive index detection. The test was calibrated using a series of dilutions from standard stock solutions of lactulose and mannitol ‘spiked’ into urine samples. The utility to quantify urinary excretion during the dual sugar absorption test over 6 h was also determined. Results: Lactulose and mannitol were eluted isocratically at 5.7 and 10.1 min, respectively, with water as a mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.3 mL min−1, 858 psi, 60 °C. The calibration curves for both sugars were linear up to 500 µg mL−1 with a limit of detection in standard solutions at 4 µg mL−1 and in ‘spiked’ urine samples at 15 µg mL−1. The intra-assay and inter-assay CVs were between 2.0–5.1% and 2.0–5.1% for lactulose and 2.5–4.4% and 2.8–3.9% for mannitol. The urinary profiles of the 6 h absorption of lactulose and mannitol showed similar peak-retention times to standard solutions and were well-resolved at 5.9 and 10.4 min, respectively. Conclusions: The assay was easy to automate, using commonly available equipment and convenient requiring no prior laborious sample derivatization. The simplicity, reproducibility, and robustness of this assay facilitates its use in routine clinical settings for the quantification of intestinal permeability.  相似文献

An in situ study of the chemical properties of a polymerized silicon-carbon thin film has been completed. The deposited film was created by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition of trimethylsilane onto an aluminum substrate. Depth profiled X-ray photoelectron spectra were obtained. An analysis of the data shows varying chemistry throughout the film as well as an interaction between silicon and aluminum/aluminum oxide at the bi-layer interface.  相似文献

The paper is concerned with the stability theory of the efficient solution map of a parametric vector optimization problem. Utilizing the advanced tools of modern variational analysis and generalized differentiation, we study the calmness of the efficient solution map. More explicitly, new sufficient conditions in terms of the Fréchet and limiting coderivatives of parametric multifunctions for this efficient solution map to have the calmness at a given point in its graph are established by employing the approach of implicit multifunctions. The teicoplanin acyltransferase (Atf) responsible for N-acylation of the glucosamine moiety to create the teicoplanin lipoglycopeptide scaffold has recently been identified. Here we use that enzyme (tAtf) and the cognate acyltransferase from the related A-40,926 biosynthetic cluster (aAtf) to evaluate specificity for glycopeptide scaffolds and for the acyl-CoA donor. In addition to acylation of 2-aminoglucosyl glycopeptide scaffolds with k(cat) values of 400-2000 min(-1), both Atfs transfer acyl groups to regioisomeric 6-aminoglucosyl scaffolds and to glucosyl scaffolds at rates of 0.2-0.5 min(-1) to create variant lipoglycopeptides. Using the teicoplanin glycosyltransferase tGtfA, tAtf, and GtfD, a glycosyltransferase from the vancomycin producer, it is possible to assemble a novel lipoglycopeptide with GlcNAc at beta-OH-Tyr(6) and an N(6)-acyl-glucosaminyl-vancosamine at Phegly(4). This study illustrates the utility of chemo- and regioselective acyltransferases and glycosyltransferases to create novel lipoglycopeptides.  相似文献

This article investigates extremality, stationarity, and regularity properties of infinite collections of sets in Banach spaces. Our approach strongly relies on the machinery developed for finite collections. When dealing with an infinite collection of sets, we examine the behavior of its finite subcollections. This allows us to establish certain primal-dual relationships between the stationarity/regularity properties some of which can be interpreted as extensions of the Extremal principle. Stationarity criteria developed in the article are applied to proving intersection rules for Fréchet normals to infinite intersections of sets in Asplund spaces.  相似文献

The ion [C3H5]+ generated in a chemical ionization source by a variety of methods, including protonation and charge exchange, exhibits a metastable peak for H2 loss which is two orders of magnitude weaker than that formed in an electron impact source. The stable [C3H5]+ ions generated by electron impact and chemical ionization undergo collision-induced dissociation to a comparable extent, both losing H2 by only one of the two competitive mechanisms observed for metastable ions. In contrast to the behavior of [C3H5]+, the molecular ions of p-substituted nitrobenzene, generated by charge exchange at high source pressure, yield composite metastable peaks for NO loss which are very similar in shape and intensity to those generated by electron impact. The contrasting behavior of the metastable ions extracted from high pressure ion sources in the two systems may be due to differences in the efficiencies of quenching of the ionic states responsible for fragmentation as metastable ions. It is noteworthy that the NO loss reactions require considerably lower activation energies than does the H2 loss reaction.  相似文献
