For each there exists a model of which satisfies the Count() principle. Furthermore, if contains all prime factors of there exist and a bijective map mapping onto . A corollary is a complete classification of the Count() versus Count() problem. Another corollary shows that the pigeon-hole principle for injective maps does not follow from any of the Count() principles. This solves an open question [Ajtai 94]. Rotational temperature and nitrogen number density are measured in the shock wave/boundary layer interaction region in the vicinity of a two-dimensional compression corner disposed in a low pressure, 55 K, Mach 10 hypersonic air flow. Spatially-resolved data are recorded using a nonlinear optical technique named dual-line coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (DLCARS). Averaged temperature and density profiles are compared with those predicted by a Navier-Stokes solver. Good agreement is found.  相似文献

Mössbauer spectroscopy of basalt lava samples, exhibiting reversible thermal magnetization (JS-T) curves with Curie temperatures of about 580°C, has revealed considerable amounts of maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) in many samples. In view of the expected instability, of maghemite at temperatures above 350°C, this reversibility is rather surprising. Here we report Mössbauer studies on heated lava samples, showing high content of maghemite. The samples were kept at 600°C in oxidizing, reducing, and inactive atmospheres, respectively, for different lengths of time, and then analyzed with Mössbauer spectroscopy at room temperature. The Mössbauer spectra showed that maghemite is stable in the oxidizing atmosphere for at least several hours. In the inactive atmosphere a considerable amount of maghemite still exists after two hours heating. In the reducing atmosphere maghemite had transformed to magnetite after only 30 minutes.  相似文献

In the field of research on soluble conducting polymers, the poly(o-alkylanilines) are very interesting because we can expect them to give more soluble polymers and new properties. Like poly(o-propylaniline) (POP), which is more soluble than polyaniline (PANi), poly(o-hexylaniline) (POH) appears to be more soluble in organic solvents than POP because of the longer alkyl groups in the 2-position. The higher solubility confers better processability on this new polymer, and because of this solubility, an NMR study in solution became possible.The nitration of hexylbenzene and the reduction of the resulting product to o-hexylaniline were performed according to the literature. The chemical polymerization was easy and it is possible to produce this polymer in large quantities.The polymerization carried out in anhydrous NH4F, 2.35 HF medium and in 5 M perchloric acid gave a polymer with almost quantitative yield. The electrochemical behaviour of POH displayed faster electron transfers than PANi in organic solvents, depending on the acido-basicity level of the aqueous solutions. Unlike PANi, fractal growth was not observed.  相似文献

Sedimentation and erosion processes in sedimentary basins can be modeled by a parabolic equation with a limiter on the fluxes and a constraint on the time variation.This limiter happens to satisfy a stationary scalar hyperbolic inequality,within a constraint,for which the authors prove the existence and the uniqueness of the solution.Actually,this solution is shown to be the maximal element of a convenient convex set of functions.The existence proof is obtained thanks to the use of a numerical scheme.  相似文献

We demonstrate a simple scheme for fabrication of microelectromagnets consisting of planar spiral coils semi-encapsulated in soft magnetic yokes using conventional microfabrication techniques. The microelectromagnets are suitable for applications operating at frequencies below 250 kHz. Conventional fabrication schemes for planar microelectromagnets typically rely on five mask steps. We allow the current to flow in the soft magnetic yoke and thereby two mask steps are eliminated. We have characterized the electromagnets electrically, the results agree well with theory, and the implications arising from current flowing in the magnetic yoke are discussed. We have integrated the microelectromagnets with microfluidic channels, and demonstrated separation of commercially available magnetic beads from a fluid in a microfluidic system, i.e. a lab-on-a-chip system.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to support the idea that “whenever we can prove a limit theorem in the classical sense for a dynamical system, we can prove a suitable almost-sure version based on an empirical measure with log-average”. We follow three different approaches: martingale methods, spectral methods and induction arguments. Our results apply, among others, to Axiom A maps or flows, to systems inducing a Gibbs–Markov map, and to the stadium billiard.  相似文献
