Recent research in computer systems security has evolved into trust issues, which are now becoming an important topic. The majority of approaches for trust modeling addressed trust by actually focusing on security, and some of them addressed also trust as such. This paper presents a formal apparatus that concentrates on trust as such. It is flexible enough to accommodate the driving factors behind trust and consequently different trust-focused methodologies and technologies. The basic goal of the work presented in this paper is the definition of qualitative trust modeling methodology for trust management in contemporary computing environments that efficiently complements existing quantitative methodologies. Further, an open conceptual model for trust management is presented that accommodates various qualitative and quantitative trust management methodologies. This model has also been implemented in the web services environment, and this is discussed in this paper as well.  相似文献

The benefit of near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy in studies of acid-treated clay minerals is demonstrated. The effects of mineral type, composition and content of non-swelling interlayers on the dissolution rate are investigated. Detailed analysis of the NIR region is performed by comparing the first overtone (2νOH) and combination (ν + δ)OH bands with the fundamental stretching (ν) and bending (ν) vibrations. Spectra of acid-treated samples show a gradual decrease in the intensities of the structural OH overtone (near 7100 cm?1) and combination (4600–4300 cm?1) bands reflecting a fewer number of octahedral atoms. The appearance of the 2νSiOH vibration for terminal (isolated) SiOH groups near 7315 cm?1 indicates the formation of a protonated silica phase. The band near 7130 cm?1 remaining in the spectra of acid-treated samples is assigned to 2νHOSiOH of geminal silanol groups. Thus the creation of geminal silanols, previously detected by 29Si MAS-NMR spectroscopy in acid-treated hectorite, is confirmed also by NIR spectroscopy. The assignment of the 4555 cm?1 band to the (ν + δ)SiOH combination enabled calculation of the wavenumber for the SiO–H bending vibration (~810 cm?1) that is not observable in the mid-IR region due to overlapping with the Si–O band of amorphous silica (~800 cm?1). The NIR spectra confirm that trioctahedral hectorite is much more susceptible to dissolution in HCl than dioctahedral nontronite. The dissolution rate of kaolinite present in the Badin clay as an admixture is lower than that of the main mineral nontronite. The accessibility of the interlayers for protons significantly influences the stability of clay minerals in HCl. Mixed-layered mineral illite/smectite with only 30% of swelling interlayers dissolves more slowly than smectite of similar chemical composition containing mainly swelling interlayers.  相似文献

In subnormal glow discharge under d.c. excitation at different pressure in a varying transverse magnetic field (0 to 30 G) some measurements have been carried out for various initial average tube currents. The voltage across the discharge increases and average tube current and residual current decreases in the magnetic field. With the help of Beckman’s expression [4] for the axial field and the electron density distribution in a transverse magnetic field the observed variation of current and voltage can be satisfactorily explained. The variation of axial electric field with transverse magnetic field can be represented to a fair degree of accuracy by the derived equation. The behaviour of residual current with magnetic field has been observed in these oscillations.  相似文献

This contribution is focused on an acceleration of branch and bound algorithms for the uncapacitated facility location problem. Our approach is based on the well-known Erlenkotters’ procedures and Körkels’ multi-ascent and multi-adjustment algorithms, which have proved to be the efficient tools for solving the large-sized instances of the uncapacitated facility location problem. These two original approaches were examined and a thorough analysis of their performance revealed how each particular procedure contributes to the computational time of the whole algorithms. These analyses helped us to focus our effort on the most frequent procedures. The unique contribution of this paper is a new dual ascent procedure. This procedure leads to considerable acceleration of the lower bound computation process and reduces the resulting computational time. To demonstrate more efficient performance of amended algorithms we present the results of extensive numerical experiments.  相似文献

The determination of surface-active substances (SAS) during the evolution of a phytoplankton bloom in a model plankton ecosystem was done by electrochemical methods. The separation and characterization of the organic material present were also done on XAD-8 resin columns. It was found that large amounts of the SAS, predominantly of the humic (fulvic) type, were present from the beginning of the experiment and partly masked the effects of organic substances released by phytoplankton. Although the transformation of the organic matter (consumption and/or excretion) was obvious, no general trend in the amount or type of surface-active matter was observed during the experiment.  相似文献

A systematic increase of the average hyperfine magnetic induction at57Fe measured at room temperature during interrupted isothermal annealing was found to be inherent to the irreversible relaxation processes in the Fe−B based soft magnetic alloys at moderately elevated temperatures. Assuming superimposed asymptotic exponential field vs. time dependences. several processes can be distinguished, their relaxation times determined and from the Arrhenius-like log τ vs. 1/T plots average activation enthalpies estimated. Results on the Fe70Co10B20 and Fe85−x Co x B15 (x=17, 19 and 21 at. % Co) amorphous ribbons between 100 and 200°C are compared and discussed in terms of possible stress relief, free volume annihilation and short range ordering mechanisms.  相似文献
