Experimental Study of a High Power Coupler for a Tunable Cavity Formed by a Vane-Type Structure

In this study, a high power coupler designed for a tunable planar cavity is experimentally tested. The cavity consists of a periodical vane-type structure, of which the height of the vane can be mechanically adjusted so that the resonance frequency can be fine tuned. The cavity is designed to be operated at mode and resonant at 2.45 GHz. The high power coupler is composed of a rectangular waveguide and a cylindrical ceramic rod with tapered ends. One end of the ceramic rod is intruded into the gap between two vanes of the cavity. Through this coupler, the TE₁₀ mode of the rectangular waveguide is converted into the TE₁₁ mode of the ceramic rod and then couples to the TEM mode in the gap between vanes of the cavity. Experimental results show that a microwave power up to 5 kW can be effectively transmitted to excite the mode of the cavity . This cavity can be used to excite large area plasmas     

Quantitative enantiomeric analysis of chlorcyclizine,hydroxyzine, and meclizine by capillary electrophoresis

A simple capillary zone electrophoresis method was developed for the quantitative enantiomeric analysis of piperazine antihistamines with teratogenic suspicion in animals. Enantioseparation of chlorcyclizine, hydroxyzine, and meclizine was performed in glycine buffer (0.6 mol L^-1; pH 3.00) with sulfated -cyclodextrin (5 mg mL^-1) as a chiral selector; and the separated drugs were monitored by ultra-violet detector. The lower quantitation of the individual enantiomer is attainable at 10 µmol L^-1, using an achiral piperazine drug (cyclizine) as internal standard. The method is simple and rapid with a short run time (<5 min) for the analysis of chlorcyclizine, hydroxyzine or meclizine enantiomers.     

Line Intensities of (12)C(16)O(2) in the 1.2-1.4 µm Spectral Region

The 7000-8500 cm(-1) spectral region of (12)C(16)O(2) has been investigated using the high-resolution FT spectrometer of LPPM in Orsay. The two strongest bands in this region are the 10031 <-- 00001 and 10032 <-- 00001 bands centered at 8294 and 8192 cm(-1). Line intensities in these two bands and in the 40013 <-- 00001 and 40014 <-- 00001 bands have been measured. Using the method of effective operators, these line intensities have been included in a new fit of effective dipole-moment parameters to all available experimental data in the same spectral region of (12)C(16)O(2). The corresponding calculated line intensities of the 10031 <-- 00001 and 10032 <-- 00001 bands are compared with the experimental ones. Copyright 2000 Academic Press.     

改性Y分子筛的酸碱性能及吸附性能的研究

吡啶、吡咯、苯、甲苯、乙苯作为探针分子，在Li＋, Na＋, K＋, Cs＋改性的Y型分子筛上进行吸附，用TPD及IR方法系统地研究了不同碱金属离子改性的Y型分子筛的酸碱性能和吸附性能的变化. 结果表明，按Li、Na、K、Cs的顺序, 随着碱金属离子半径的增大, 其L酸酸强度依次减弱，L碱的强度逐渐增强.由于改性Y型分子筛所含碱金属离子的不同，其对芳烃的吸附的强弱及吸附量的大小亦不同.随着骨架外的阳离子的半径逐渐增大，碱的强度逐渐增强，与芳烃的作用愈强烈，导致TPD脱附峰温增高及芳烃和侧链上的C－H伸缩振动谱带向低波数位移愈多.由于位阻的原因，对含同一种碱金属离子的分子筛来说，随着芳烃侧链C数的增加，芳烃的吸附量逐渐减小.     

Synthesis,Characterization, DNA‐binding Properties,and ­Antioxidant Activity of a Copper(II) Complex with 1, 3‐Bis­(1‐allaylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐2‐oxopropane

A new complex of copper(II) picrate (pic) with 1, 3‐bis(1‐allaylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐2‐oxopropane (aobb), with the composition [Cu(aobb)₂](pic)₂, was synthesized and characterized. The crystal structure of the copper(II) complex revealed that the coordination environment around the central copper(II) atom is a distorted octahedral arrangement. Electronic absorption spectroscopy, ethidium bromide displacement experiments and viscosity measurements indicate that the ligand and the Cu^II complex can strongly bind to calf thymus DNA, presumably by an intercalation mechanism. Furthermore, the antioxidant activity of the Cu^II complex was determined by superoxide and hydroxyl radical scavenging method in vitro, which indicate that the Cu^II complex has the activity to suppress OH ^· and O₂ ^{· –}.     

镍 钴 钯 铁2—（二苯基膦基）吡啶配合物的合成及其催化羰基化反应

众所周知,铑催化剂是醇类羰基化的有效催化剂,但是铑价格昂贵且对设备有腐蚀性,因此,寻找出对醇类羰基化催化活性好的非贵金属催化剂,对醇类羰化的工业化有十分重要的意义。 本文在温和条件下,合成了四种含有相同配体(Ph_2PPy)不同金属的有机配合物(金属基分别为Ni、Co、Pd、Fe),并探索了它们对乙醇羰基化反应的催化活性。     

Czerny-Turner正交型光栅单色仪的波长校准

研究了Czerny-Turner正交型光栅单色仪的波长校准技术。结合单色仪的结构参数和特点,提出以符合光栅方程的正弦曲线作为仪器出射波长的校准方程,基于最小二乘法原理给出校准方程的拟合残差表达式,由于校准方程的非线性,应用二维Nelder-Mead单纯形法求解拟合残差的待定系数,建立了波长与光栅转角的精确表达式,并通过实验验证了该算法的准确性。结果表明,经过校准的单色仪波长定位精度小于0.1nm,比设计要求提高一个数量级。该方法在Czerny-Turner正交型光栅单色仪的波长校准过程中,应用简单,容易实现,只需稍加修改步进电机的控制程序,即可完成对仪器出射波长的快速实时校准,实用性强。
