The effect of composition and temperature on the properties of the alloy PdV-20 doped with nickel was investigated. It was established that the microhardness, electroresistivity, and the normal elasticity modulus depend nonmonotonically on the content of nickel, and also that these quantities are affected significantly by the past thermal history of the samples. The results' are discussed, taking into account the nature of their intrinsic short-range order structure.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh. The self-consistent theory of electron localization in a random system in the form proposed by Vollhardt and Wölfle is generalized for the analysis of localization in the Anderson model. We derive the general equations appropriate for the system with rather general form of the electronic spectrum. Explicit calculations are restricted to the lattices of cubic symmetry and use the effective mass approximation to obtain the final results. Anderson's critical ratio for the localization of all the electronic states in the tight-binding band is evaluated and found to be in surprisingly good agreement with the results of numerical analysis of localization in the Anderson model.  相似文献

The images of magnetic and nonmagnetic nanoparticles obtained by scanning near-field microscopy in the photon collection mode are numerically simulated. A theoretical approach that uses tensor electrodynamic Green’s functions to find the optical near field in a given observation scheme is considered. Typicalimages of nanoparticles with various shapes are obtained by numerical simulation. Subject to boundary conditions, the plane of polarization is shown to change at topographic features (edges and angles) of objects studied. This makes the observation of the magnetic structure of a nanoparticle with a magnetooptic method difficult. The near-field study of the magnetization distribution in homogeneous thin films appears to be more effective, since the rotation of plane of polarization is associated primarily with the magnetic properties of the sample in this case.  相似文献

Chern–Simons (CS) gauge theories in three dimensions and the Poisson sigma model (PSM) in two dimensions are examples of the same theory, if their field equations are interpreted as morphisms of Lie algebroids and their symmetries (on-shell) as homotopies of such morphisms. We point out that the (off-shell) gauge symmetries of the PSM in the literature are not globally well defined for non-parallelizable Poisson manifolds and propose a covariant definition of the off-shell gauge symmetries as left action of some finite-dimensional Lie algebroid.

Our approach allows us to avoid complications arising in the infinite-dimensional super-geometry of the BV- and AKSZ-formalism. This preprint is a starting point in a series of papers meant to introduce Yang–Mills type gauge theories of Lie algebroids, which include the standard YM theory, gerbes, and the PSM.  相似文献

Radiation emitted by positrons moving in a periodically deformed crystal has been experimentally observed for the first time. Radiation spectra have been measured in a wide energy range. Experimental evidence has been obtained for an undulator peak in a radiation spectrum, which is qualitatively consistent with calculations. Crystalline undulators ensure an equivalent magnetic field of 1000 T and a period in the submillimeter range and can therefore be used to generate x-ray and gamma radiation that is a hundred times harder than radiation in usual undulators.  相似文献

Amorphous silver, copper, gold, and iron films of a thickness between 6 and 350 nm are grown on polymeric substrates by vacuum evaporation. The nanostructure of the films is investigated. The dependence of the conductivity on the film thickness is obtained, and a correlation between the surface morphology and the conductivity is established.  相似文献

Mechanisms of polarization modulation in a single-mode fiber that modulate the phase difference between polarization modes without affecting their amplitudes are considered. A coefficient that characterizes the efficiency of cylindrical piezoceramic modulators and is independent of their resonant properties is introduced. Analytical expressions for this coefficient for different modulation mechanisms are derived. The lateral pressure on the fiber is shown to provide the highest efficiency. For isotropic fibers, a modulator with a squeezing covering, which increases significantly its efficiency, is studied. For anisotropic fibers, the most appropriate way of phase difference modulation is longitudinal extension, in which case the birefringence axes do not have to be matched. In most cases, the measured and predicted efficiencies are in good correspondence.  相似文献

We examine the time behavior and energy characteristics of the ultraviolet, soft, and hard X-ray emissions of several C-class flares recorded by a set of instruments on board the CORONAS-PHOTON satellite. The difference between their parameters are considered in the thermal and nonthermal radiation ranges. The upper measured limit of the degree of linear polarization of X-rays is determined for the most intense flare.  相似文献
