Tautomerism of 2,2′-dihydroxyazobenzene

Conclusions A study of the structure of 2,2-dihydroxyazobenzene employing the methods of IR spectroscopy and LCAO MO as the Pariser-Parr approximation disclosed that this compound exists as a mixture of two tautomeric forms, the stability of which is approximately the same.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 6, pp. 1334–1336, June, 1973.     

Angular distributions in the dimuon hadronic production at 150 GeV/c

From π^- interactions at 150 GeV/c on a heavy target, we present the final analysis of the dimuon decay angular distribution in the mass interval 4.5–8.5 GeV/c². Results are presented and discussed in various reference frames and are also given in terms of the density matrix elements. Finally the possible contribution of higher-twist effects at largex ₁ is discussed; we find that our data are not compatible with higher twist contributions as proposed by the Berger and Brodsky Model.     

Some kinetic aspects regarding the preparation of telomeric ω-hydroperfluoroalkanols

Telomerization of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with methanol in the presence of a free-radical initiator such as α, α′-azoisobutyronitrile (AIBN) has been carried out. The product composition was related to kinetic equations involving the chaintransfer coefficients and the concentration of telomeric fluoroalkanols obtained.     

Synthesis of [μ-methyllenebis(η5-3-tert-butyl-2-methylinden-1-yl)dichlorozirconium(IV)]

An efficient synthetic approach to 3-alkyl(aryl)-2-bromoindenes was developed. The reaction of 2-bromo-3-tert-butylindene with MeMgl catalyzed by Ni(dppp)Cl₂ afforded 3-tert-butyl-2-methylindene from which bis(3-tert-butyl-2-methylinden-1-yl)methane and the correspondingansa-zirconocene were synthesized.     

微波辐射法制备水溶性CdTe/ZnS量子点及其与司帕沙星的作用

以巯基乙酸为稳定剂,通过微波加热在水溶液中制备了CdTe/znS量子点.研究了pH值、反应时间、反应温度和cdTe/s<'2->浓度比等合成条件对cdTe量子点荧光光谱的影响.以CdTe/ZnS量子点为探针,探讨了喹诺酮类抗生素司帕沙星与量子点的荧光猝灭作用,结果表明,在最佳实验条件下,其线性范围为0.05～3.00μg/mL,线性相关系数为0.9954,检出限为0.01μg/mL,可将CdTe/ZnS量子点荧光探针用于司帕沙星的测定.     

Melanin‐Containing Films: Growth from Dopamine Solutions versus Layer‐by‐Layer Deposition

Films formed by oxidation of dopamine are of interest for functionalisation of solid–liquid interfaces owing to their versatility. However, the ability to modulate the properties of such films, for example, permeability to ionic species and the absorption coefficient, is urgently needed. Indeed, melanin films produced by oxidation of dopamine absorb strongly over the whole UV/Vis part of the electromagnetic spectrum and are impermeable to anions even for a film thickness as low as a few nanometers. Herein we combine oxidation of dopamine to produce a solution containing dopamine–melanin particles and their alternating deposition with poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) to produce films which have nearly the same morphology as pure dopamine–melanin films but are less compact, more transparent and more permeable to ferrocyanide anions.
