[STRUCTURE: SEE TEXT] A Pd/C-catalyzed deoxygenation method of phenolic hydroxyl groups via aryl triflates or mesylates using Mg metal in MeOH at room temperature was developed. The addition of NH4OAc dramatically affects the reactivity and reaction rate. This method is particularly attractive to provide an environmentally benign and widely applicable removal method of phenolic alcohols under quite mild reaction conditions.  相似文献

Inclusion compounds of a dipeptide, (S)-threonyl-(S)-phenylglycine (Thr-Phg), with several aliphatic alcohols were easily prepared by grinding them in a mortar. Thr-Phg molecules arranged in antiparallel to construct a sheet, and guest alcohols were accommodated in a chiral pocket between the sheets. 3-Butyn-2-ol and 2-butanol were included with moderate enantioselectivity, 57% ee (R) and 49% ee (R), respectively. The role of the hydroxy group of Thr-Phg is not only to construct the unique pocket but also to capture guest alcohols by hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

A highly diastereoselective Darzens reaction was developed by using a MEM- or TBDPS-protected α-hydroxy aldehyde with di-tert-butyl bromomalonate. This method effectively provides a syn-α-alkoxy epoxide, and a possible reaction mechanism was proposed to explain the high syn selectivity.  相似文献

Electroglottography (EGG) was used to monitor vocal fold vibration patterns in normal subjects and patients with various laryngeal disorders. In order to evaluate the regularity of vocal fold vibration, frequency and amplitude perturbation of EGG waves during sustained phonation were measured with a laboratory computer. The data were compared to the degree of hoarseness evaluated by auditory perception and by sound spectrographic analysis. Frequency and amplitude perturbation measures showed some overlap between normal and pathological groups. However, there was a close relation between perturbation analysis of EGG waves and degree of hoarseness (Spearman's rank correlation coefficient rs = 0.73, p less than 0.0005). Amplitude perturbation was found to be a more sensitive measure of the irregularity of vocal fold vibration than frequency perturbation.  相似文献

A new type of charge‐mosaic membrane was prepared from poly(4‐vinyl pyridine) microspheres 250–350 nm in diameter as an anion‐exchange element and from linear poly(sodium styrene sulfonic acid) as a cation‐exchange element. The mosaic structure on the surface of the membrane and the continuous connection of the microspheres in the membrane were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy observations and the electrical conductivity of the membrane. The microspheres were continuously connected from one side to the other side of the membrane surface when the weight fraction of the microspheres increased more than 20–25 wt % in the membrane. The flux of KCl, the permeability coefficient of KCl, the volume flux, and the selectivity dialysis separation of the electrolyte (KCl) and nonelectrolyte (glucose and saccharose) of the membrane indicated that it had the characteristic properties of a charge‐mosaic membrane. Ion‐exchange membranes composed of each raw material of the charge‐mosaic membrane did not show these properties. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The Rayleigh–Taylor (RT) instability of liquid iron alloys is important for understanding the core formation mechanism in the Earth. Here we first report the measurement of RT instability growth for a liquid iron–silicon (Fe–Si) alloy, which is one of the major candidate for the material of the Earth’s core, using a high power laser. We optimized the measurement setup and analytical technique to observe the growth of perturbation on an Fe–Si sample surface. The growth of perturbation amplitude on the Fe–Si alloy under high pressure and temperature was successfully observed using in situ X-ray radiography. The growth rate of the RT instability for the Fe–Si alloy on about 1000?GPa was estimated to be 0.3 ns?1.  相似文献
