Pulse modulated power electronic converters represent an important class of piecewise-smooth dynamical systems with a broad range of applications in modern power supply systems. The paper presents a detailed investigation of a number of unusual bifurcation phenomena that can occur in power converters with multilevel control. In the first example a closed invariant curve arises in a border-collision bifurcation as a period-6 saddle cycle collides with a stable fixed point of focus type and transforms it into an unstable focus point. The second example involves the formation of a structure of coexisting tori through the interplay between border-collision and global bifurcations. We examine the behavior of the system in the presence of two coexisting stable resonance tori and finally show how an existing torus can develop heteroclinic bubbles that connect the points of a stable resonance cycle with an external pair of saddle and focus cycles. The appearance of these structures is explained in terms of a sequence torus-birth bifurcations with pairs of stable and unstable tori folding one over the other. 相似文献

Considering self-organized surface pattering upon multi-pulse femtosecond laser irradiation, in particularly the strong dependence of ripples orientation on the laser polarization, we present numerical simulations from an adopted surface erosion model and compare the result to our experimental data on laser-induced nanostructures formation. We present the surface morphologies obtained by this model for different polarizations of the incident laser electric field and show good agreement with ripple formation produced by laser ablation experiments. The correlation of ripples orientation with laser polarization can be described within a model where the polarization causes a breaking of symmetry at the surface. Further we discuss a time evolution of pattern formation. Our results support the non-linear self-organization mechanism of pattern formation on the surface of solids. 相似文献

In the paper, we investigate the intersection local time for two correlated Brownian motions on the plane that form a diffusion process in ?4 associated with a divergence-form generator. Using Gaussian heat kernel bounds, we prove the existence of intersection local time for these Brownian motions, obtain estimates of its moments, and establish the law of iterated logarithm for it.

The application of non-planar scaffolds in drug design allows for the enlargement of the chemical space, and for the construction of molecules that have more effective target–ligand interactions or are less prone to the development of resistance. Among the works of the last decade, a literature search revealed spirothiazamenthane, which has served as a lead in the development of derivatives active against resistant viral strains. In this work, we studied the novel molecular scaffold, which resembles spirothiazamenthane, but combines isoxazoline as a heterocycle and cyclooctane ring as a hydrophobic part of the structure. The synthesis of new 3-nitro- and 3-aminoisoxazolines containing spiro-fused or 1,2-annelated cyclooctane fragments was achieved by employing 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of 3-nitro-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-4-ol 2-oxide or tetranitromethane-derived alkyl nitronates with non-activated alkenes. A series of spiro-sulfonamides was obtained by the reaction of 3-aminoisoxazoline containing a spiro-fused cyclooctane residue with sulfonyl chlorides. Preliminary screening of the compounds for antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and antiproliferative properties in vitro revealed 1-oxa-2-azaspiro[4.7]dodec-2-en-3-amine and 3a,4,5,6,7,8,9,9a-octahydrocycloocta[d]isoxazol-3-amine with activity against the influenza A/Puerto Rico/8/34 (H1N1) virus in the submicromolar range, and high values of selectivity index. Further study of the mechanism of the antiviral action of these compounds, and the synthesis of their analogues, is likely to identify new agents against resistant viral strains. 相似文献

A series of novel conjugates of cobalt bis(dicarbollide) and closo-dodecaborate with curcumin were synthesized by copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition. These conjugates were tested for antibacterial activity. It was shown that all derivatives are active when exposed to Bacillus cereus ATCC 10702 and are not active against Gram-negative microorganisms and Candida albicans at the maximum studied concentration of 1000 mg/L. The conjugate of alkynyl-curcumin with azide synthesized from the tetrahydropyran derivative of cobalt bis(dicarbollide) exhibited activity against Gram-positive microorganisms: Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213, Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 29212 and the clinical isolate MRSA 17, that surpassed curcumin by 2–4 times. 相似文献

The polycondensation of diamines and dialdehydes promoted by an N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) catalyst in the presence of a quinone oxidant and hexafluoro-2-propanol (HFIP) is herein presented for the synthesis of oligomeric polyamides (PAs), which are obtained with a number-average molecular weight (Mn) in the range of 1.7–3.6 kg mol−1 as determined by NMR analysis. In particular, the utilization of furanic dialdehyde monomers (2,5-diformylfuran, DFF; 5,5’-[oxybis(methylene)]bis[2-furaldehyde], OBFA) to access known and previously unreported biobased PAs is illustrated. The synthesis of higher molecular weight PAs (poly(decamethylene terephthalamide, PA10T, Mn = 62.8 kg mol−1; poly(decamethylene 2,5-furandicarboxylamide, PA10F, Mn = 6.5 kg mol−1) by a two-step polycondensation approach is also described. The thermal properties (TGA and DSC analyses) of the synthesized PAs are reported. 相似文献
