Facile synthesis of metal–organic framework based on zeolitic imidazolate (ZIF-11) has been optimized to get a material with rho topology. For the first time AgNPs in various dosing amounts (using 150, 300 and 500 μL of its suspension in methanol) have been successfully encapsulated within ZIF-11 matrix at room temperature using binary solvent (methanol and toluene) yielding novel multi-core-shell AgNPs@ZIF-11 (AZ1, AZ2 and AZ3) composites. Encapsulation of AgNPs (particle size: 11.76 ± 2.3 nm) has been confirmed by TEM and ultraviolet diffuse reflectance spectroscopic (UV-DRS) analysis. The lowering of band gap of ZIF-11 from 4.36 to 4.21 eV indicates the micro-environment of AgNPs within ZIF-11 framework, which has also been ensured by XPS analysis. ZIF-11 and AgNPs@ZIF-11 composites are highly stable up to 500 °C under air and N2 atmosphere. It has been found that AZ1 composite exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity (almost 100% degradation) toward MB (1.6 mg/L) at pH ≥ 8. Further, various factors such as loading amount of AgNPs (150, 300 and 500 μL suspension in methanol), amount of catalysts (5 mg, 10 mg and 15 mg) and concentration (1.6 mg L−1, 3.19 mg L−1 and 6.38 mg L−1) of methylene blue (MB) dye during photodegradation experiments have been investigated. The capacious achievement of AZ1 composite is its reusability and recyclability; it can be reutilized up to three cycles with the same efficiency (100%) while under fourth and fifth cycle, it can degrade off 92.12% and 72.75% MB, respectively. AgNPs may act as a mediator to promote the quick transfer of photo-induced electrons and electron–hole pairs separation in ZIF-11. This work opens a new type of easily fabricated core-shell composites utilizing ZIF-11 for wastewater remediation process.  相似文献

Intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) behavior of trans-ethyl p-(dimethylamino)cinamate (EDAC) in various solvents has been studied by steady-state absorption and emission, picosecond time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy and femtosecond transient absorption experiments as well as time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT). Large fluorescence spectral shift in more polar solvents indicates an efficient charge transfer from the donor site to the acceptor moiety in the excited state compared to the ground state. The energy for 0,0 transition (ν0,0) for EDAC shows very good linear correlation with static solvent dielectric property. The relaxation dynamics of EDAC in the excited state can be effectively described by a “three state” model where, the locally excited (LE) state converts into the ICT state within 350 ± 100 fs. A combination of solvent reorganization and intramolecular vibrational relaxation within 0.5–6 ps populates the relaxed ICT state which undergoes fluorescence decay within few tens to hundreds of picoseconds.  相似文献

A one-pot reaction of [Co(NO3)2 · 6H2O and piperazine] with NH4SCN/NaSCN in water–methanol (1:1) solvent leads to two polymorphs of [Co(SCN)4(ppz-H)2] (ppz, piperazine) (I and II). X-ray crystal structure reveals both have same space group but the differences in the alignment of pendant SCN leads to two polymorphs. In I, trifurcated N–H?S hydrogen bonding plays a prominent role in crystal packing leading to S?S interactions between SCN fragments but in II, no such trifurcation arises and thereby the crystal packing occurs through hydrogen bonding interactions only leading to a distinctly different network topology. TG/DSC and FT-IR study reveal they are enantiotropically related.  相似文献

Rheological behavior of viscoelastic wormlike micelles in an aqueous system of mixed sodium dodecyl trioxyethylene sulfate (SDES)–monolaurin (ML) is presented. Dilute aqueous solution of SDES has a high fluidity and follows Newtonian liquid-like behavior due to formation of small globular type of micellar structure. Addition of lipophilic nonionic cosurfactant ML to dilute or semidilute solution of SDES decreases the interfacial curvature of the aggregates favoring one dimensional micellar growth, and hence, viscosity increases. After a certain concentration of ML, the elongated micelles get entangled with each other leading to the formation of viscoelastic wormlike micelles. The viscoelastic solution follows Maxwell model of a single stress relaxation mode at low-frequency region. Further addition of ML decreases the viscosity of the solution due to formation of micellar joints in the network structure. The viscosity of the viscoelastic wormlike micelles decreases upon heating, and the system with poor viscoelastic character is observed at higher temperatures.  相似文献

Standard molecular mechanics (MM) force fields predict a nearly linear decrease in hydration free energy with each successive addition of a methyl group to ammonia or acetamide, whereas a nonadditive relationship is observed experimentally. In contrast, the non-additive hydration behavior is reproduced directly using a quantum mechanics (QM)/MM-based free-energy perturbation (FEP) method wherein the solute partial atomic charges are updated at every window. Decomposing the free energies into electrostatic and van der Waals contributions and comparing the results with the corresponding free energies obtained using a conventional FEP method and a QM/MM method wherein the charges are not updated suggests that inaccuracies in the electrostatic free energies are the primary reason for the inability of the conventional FEP method to predict the experimental findings. The QM/MM-based FEP method was subsequently used to evaluate inhibitors of the diabetes drug target fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase adenosine 5'-monophosphate and 6-methylamino purine riboside 5'-monophosphate. The predicted relative binding free energy was consistent with the experimental findings, whereas the relative binding free energy predicted using the conventional FEP method differed from the experimental finding by an amount consistent with the overestimated relative solvation free energies calculated for alkylamines. Accordingly, the QM/MM-based FEP method offers potential advantages over conventional FEP methods, including greater accuracy and reduced user input. Moreover, since drug candidates often contain either functionality that is inadequately treated by MM (e.g., simple alkylamines and alkylamides) or new molecular scaffolds that require time-consuming development of MM parameters, these advantages could enable future automation of FEP calculations as well as greatly increase the use and impact of FEP calculations in drug discovery.  相似文献

Chiral Schiff base ligands (S)-H(2)L and (R)-H(2)L and their complexes (S-Ni-L, R-Ni-L, S-Cu-L, R-Cu-L, S-Zn-L and R-Zn-L) were synthesized, characterized and examined for their DNA binding, antioxidant and antibacterial activities. The complexes showed higher binding affinity to calf thymus DNA with binding constant ranging from 2.0×10(5) to 4.5×10(6) M(-1). All the complexes also exhibited remarkable superoxide (56-99%) and hydroxyl scavenging (45-89%) activities as well as antibacterial activities against gram (+) and gram (-) bacteria. However, none of the complexes showed antifungal activity. Conclusively, S enantiomers of the complexes were found to be relatively more efficient for DNA interaction, antioxidant and antibacterial activities than their R enantiomers. This study reveals the possible utilization of chiral Schiff base complexes for pharmaceutical applications.  相似文献

A convergent synthesis of benzoquinone ansamycin analogs is described that proceeds by a sequence of metallacycle-mediated alkyne-alkyne coupling, followed by site- and stereoselective dihydroxylation and global carbamate formation. These studies have led to (1) validation of alkyne-alkyne coupling to produce geldanamycin analogs that lack the problematic quinone, (2) the discovery that C6-C7 bis-carbamate functionality is compatible with Hsp90 inhibition, and (3) the identification of 1 as a nonquinone geldanamycin-inspired paralog-selective Hsp90 inhibitor.  相似文献

A highly efficient one-pot three-component regioselective synthesis of 4-aryl-3-aroyl-2-methylsulfanyl-4,6,7,8-tetrahydrothiochromen-5-ones has been developed by annulation of β-oxodithioesters with aldehydes and cyclic 1,3-diketones under solvent-free conditions promoted by P(2)O(5). No cocatalyst or activator is needed in this protocol. The merit of this process is highlighted by its high efficiency of producing three new bonds and a stereocenter in one operation.  相似文献

Polymer electrolytes, (PEO:LiClO4)+x IL (1‐Buty‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate) with varying concentration of IL; x = 0,5,10,15,20 wt % have been prepared by solution cast technique and characterized by X‐Ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetery, FTIR, conductivity and dielectric relaxation measurements in the frequency range of 100 Hz–5 MHz. Temperature dependence of relaxation frequency and conductivity were found to be typical of thermally activated process both at T > Tm and T < Tm. Composition dependence of conductivity, dielectric relaxation, and degree of crystallinity has also been studied. On addition of IL, the degree of crystallinity after a decrease at 5 wt % IL increases slightly at 10 wt % and then finally decreasing. Variation of conductivity and relaxation frequency with composition could only be partly explained on the basis of variation of degree of crystallinity. An additional feature of ion–ion interaction (contact ion pair formation between IL or salt cations and their associated anions) has been invoked which was supported by FTIR studies. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Syntheses of novel [{(3‐dialkoxy‐phosphoryl)‐(substituted‐phenyl‐methyl)‐2‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐2λ5–benzo [1,3,2] diazaphosphol‐1‐yl}‐(substituted‐phenyl)‐methyl]‐phosphonic acid diethyl/dimethyl esters ( 3a , 3b , 3c , 3d , 3e , 3f , 3g , 3h , 3i , 3j ) were conveniently accomplished by cyclocondensation of [(2‐{(dimethoxy‐phosphoryl)‐phenyl‐methyl)‐amino}‐phenyl amino)‐phenyl‐methyl]phosphonic acid diethyl/dimethyl esters ( 2a , 2b , 2c , 2d , 2e , 2f , 2g , 2h , 2i , 2j ) with phenyl phosphonic dichloride in dry toluene in the presence of triethylamine at 40°C.
