Fe/CeO2-SiO2 nanocomposite was synthesized via hydrothermal method. Bond length of nanocomposite was determined through FTIR analysis, while Raman analysis showed lattice relaxation of CeO2 phase in Fe/CeO2-SiO2. TEM, XRD and DLS-PSA revealed an increase in size of Fe/CeO2-SiO2 as compared to CeO2-SiO2 which was attributed to have more oxygen vacancies in CeO2 after doping of iron. Lattice contraction was also observed in some phases of CeO2 in Fe/CeO2-SiO2 nanocomposite as compared to CeO2-SiO2 nanocomposite. This contraction was used for determination of Fe content incorporated in CeO2 [1 1 1] phase. The band gap values of Fe/CeO2-SiO2 nanocomposite were found reduced after doping of Fe by factors of 0.62 and 0.55 eV, respectively. Photoluminescence study of the materials was carried out to study the different type of transitions occurring after absorption of electromagnetic radiation. Photoluminescence intensity at 2.12 eV was found enhanced after doping of Fe due to increased oxygen vacancy. Photocatalytic activity of the nanocomposites was studied with the degradation of chlorpyrifos pesticide.  相似文献

Levulinic acid (LA) is an industrially important product that can be catalytically valorized into important value-added chemicals. In this study, hydrothermal conversion of glucose into levulinic acid was attempted using Brønsted acidic ionic liquid catalyst synthesized using 2-phenyl-2-imidazoline, and 2-phenyl-2-imidazoline-based ionic liquid catalyst used in this study was synthesized in the laboratory using different anions (NO3, H2PO4, and Cl) and characterized using 1H NMR, TGA, and FT-IR spectroscopic techniques. The activity trend of the Brønsted acidic ionic liquid catalysts synthesized in the laboratory was found in the following order: [C4SO3HPhim][Cl] > [C4SO3HPhim][NO3] > [C4SO3HPhim][H2PO4]. A maximum 63% yield of the levulinic acid was obtained with 98% glucose conversion at 180 °C and 3 h reaction time using [C4SO3HPhim][Cl] ionic liquid catalyst. The effect of different reaction conditions such as reaction time, temperature, ionic liquid catalyst structures, catalyst amount, and solvents on the LA yield were investigated. Reusability of [C4SO3HPhim][Cl] catalyst up to four cycles was observed. This study demonstrates the potential of the 2-phenyl-2-imidazoline-based ionic liquid for the conversion of glucose into the important platform chemical levulinic acid.  相似文献

In the present work, the exact solutions of Stokes second problem for a Burgers’ fluid are investigated. The expressions for the velocity field and the corresponding tangential stress are obtained when the relaxation times satisfy the condition γ < λ2/4. The solutions have been determined by means of Laplace transform. Only one initial condition is necessary for velocity and these solutions presented in the forms of simple or multiple integrals in terms of Bessel functions. The corresponding solutions for a Newtonian fluid as well as Oldroyd-B fluid appear as the limiting cases of the presented results. The obtained solutions are graphically analyzed for the variations of interesting flow parameters. Moreover, a comparison for velocity is made with Oldroyd-B and Newtonian fluids.  相似文献

We describe biodegradable mesoporous hybrid nanoparticles (NPs) in the presence of proteins and their applications for drug delivery. We synthesized oxamide phenylene‐based mesoporous organosilica nanoparticles (MON) in the absence of a silica source which had remarkably high organic content and high surface areas. Oxamide functions provided biodegradability in the presence of trypsin model proteins. MON displayed exceptionally high payloads of hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs (up to 84 wt %), and a unique zero premature leakage without the pore capping, unlike mesoporous silica. MON were biocompatible and internalized into cancer cells for drug delivery.  相似文献

Abstract

The present work deals with the biological and phytochemical studies on Capparis decidua (Forssk) Edgew from Cholistan desert of Pakistan. Aerial and floral parts of C. decidua were collected and dried under shade. Powdered materials of each part of C. decidua were extracted with methanol separately, followed by phytochemical studies. Hexane fraction of aerial parts of the C. decidua obtained after solvent-solvent extraction was purified through repeated column chromatography by increasing order of polarity. Four compounds were purified and identified as simiarenol (1), lupeol (2), taraxerol (3) and β-sitosterol (4). Simiarenol and lupeol were isolated for the first time from genus Capparis. The structures of these compounds were established by comparing the spectroscopic data (1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, UV & Mass spectrometry) reported in literature. The structure of 1 was further confirmed by XRD analysis. Anti-bacterial activities of crude methanolic extracts were determined against 13 bacterial strains (MIC 250-1000?μg/mL). α-Glucosidase and urease inhibitory activities of pure compounds were also determined. Compounds 1, 2 and 4 showed α-glucosidase inhibition with IC50 at 96.12?±?0.12, 65.28?±?0.13 and 128.14?±?0.17?μM, respectively.  相似文献

The kinetic results of the oxidation of aminoacids by N-bromoacetamide in acid and alkaline media are presented. It is noticed that the order with respect to substrate is dependent on the nature of the medium, 0.30 – 0.80 in perchloric acid (except phenylalanine in which case the order is 1.0) and alkaline media and zero order in aqueous acetic acid. Irrespective of the medium, the reaction is first order in [oxidant]. The rate of oxidation increases with [OH-] and decreases with [H+]. The changes observed in the direction of the pH-rate profile correspond to the ionization constants of the aminoacids. The reaction is inhibited by the addition of acetamide in perchloric acid medium but, is independent of it in alkaline medium. The rate of oxidation is susceptible to changes in the composition of acetic acid and is maximum at 25% aqueous acetic acid. The oxidation of aminoacids by N-bromoacetamide is also catalysed by carboxylate anions. The catalytic constants of propionate, butyrate, acetate, chloropropionate and chloroacetate are measured and Brønsted coefficients (β) so evaluated are in the range 0.38 – 0.46. The proposed mechanism and the derived rate laws are consistent with the observed kinetics.  相似文献
