Ce(IV)-loaded Y-zeolites (CeY) were prepared for selective removal of the trace amount of organic sulfur compounds from hydrodesulfurization (HDS)-treated diesel oil. The CeY samples can be obtained from NH4-Y-zeolite (NH4Y) using liquid-phase ion-exchange and solid-state ion-exchange methods. The ion-exchange reactions, structures, and selective adsorptions of organic sulfur compounds of the CeY samples were investigated using XRD, IR, XPS, TEM, and GC sulfur analyzer. The organic sulfur compound uptakes strongly depend on the amount and the valency of Ce in the zeolite structure. Ce(IV) shows much higher adsorptive ability than Ce(III). A CeY-S sample prepared by solid-state ion-exchange reaction of NH4Y and Ce(NO3)3 with Ce/NH4 mole ratio of 0.63 at 250 degrees C showed a maximum sulfur uptake from a model solution of HDS-treated gasoline containing thiophene [S = 5 ppm (ppm = mg/L)]. A desulfurization from a HDS-treated diesel oil containing organic sulfur compounds (S = 1.87 ppm) and H2S (S = 0.73 ppm) was investigated with a combination of the CeY-S and a CuO adsorbent for removal of H2S by a batch method. The sulfur content was reduced to below 0.01 ppm for the first time. This method provides a promising desulfurization process to prepare a clean fuel for fuel cells.  相似文献

We study the hadron-quark phase transition in a molecular dynamics (MD) of quark degrees of freedom. The hadron state at low density and temperature, and the deconfined quark state at high density and temperature are observed in our model. We investigate the equations of state and draw the phase diagram at wide baryon density and temperature range. We also discuss the transport property, e.g. viscosity, of $q\bar q$ matter. It is found that the ratio of the shear viscosity to the entropy density is less than one for quark matter.  相似文献

Five cytotoxic macrolides, aplyronines D–H (48), were isolated from the Japanese sea hare Aplysia kurodai. They are new congeners of the antitumor compound aplyronine A (1), which was previously isolated from the same organism. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis (NMR and MS). The cytotoxicity of these new compounds was evaluated in comparison with that of aplyronines A–C (13), suggesting the importance of the 7-O-seryl ester group for mediating the potent cytotoxicity of aplyronines.  相似文献

Polarized Raman spectra of the proton ordered phase of ice Ih, i.e., ice XI, were measured above 400 cm(-1) in the range of librational, bending, and stretching vibrations. Vibrational modes in ice XI, of which symmetry is C(2v) (12)(Cmc2(1)), were discussed from the group theoretical point of view. In the librational mode spectra below 1200 cm(-1), several new peaks and clear polarization dependencies were observed. Assignments of the librational modes agree reasonably well with the recent MD calculations by Iwano et al. (J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 79, 063601 (2010)). In contrast, the spectra for bands above 1200 cm(-1) show no distinct polarization dependencies and the spectra resemble those in ice Ih. In ice XI, however, fine structure composed of several weak peaks appear on the broad bending and the combination band. No direct evidence of the LO-TO splitting of the ν(3) anti-symmetric stretching mode was obtained. It is contrary to the case of the translational modes Abe and Shigenari (J. Chem. Phys. 134, 104506 (2011)). Present results suggest that the influence of the proton ordering in ice XI is weaker than the effect of inter- and intra-molecular couplings in the stretching vibrations of ice Ih.  相似文献

Thermal behavior of poly(ethylene imine) [PEI] has been studied using simultaneous WAXD/DSC measurement system. PEI exhibits water-induced and thermally-induced phase transitions among four kinds of crystalline hydrates: anhydrate (EI/water = 1/0), hemihydrate (1/0.5), sesquihydrate (1/1.5), and dihydrate (1/2). The chain conformation changes from a double helix in the anhydrate to a planar zigzag form in the three hydrates. The anhydrate melts at 60 °C while the hydrates melt differently in the temperature region of 70–110 °C. By means of the simultaneous WAXD/DSC measurements, complex DSC thermograms of PEI hydrates were characterized on the basis of X-ray diffractions obtained concurrently.  相似文献

The 17O NMR measurement was made to elucidate the microscopic nature of vacancy motion in Y2O3-doped CeO2. Spin-lattice relaxation rate, T?11, spin-spin relaxation rate, T?12, and resonance intensity were measured at v0 = 8.13 MHz as a function of temperature [385 < T (K) < 1110] and composition [0.06 < Y2O3 (mo) < 6]. The static electric field gradient associated with lattice defects resulted in the composition dependences of the line width and the intensity. In low dopant concentrations, doubly peaked temperature dependence of T?11 was found, while a single and asymmetric peak was observed in high concentrations. T?11 of 4.0 and 6.0 mo doped samples were analyzed using a barrier height distribution model for the oxygen vacancy jump. The mean value of the activation energy was found to increase with the Y2O3 concentration.  相似文献
