New oligosaccharide-branched -cyclodextrins having a various oligosaccharides in a primary hydroxyl group of -cyclodextrin(CD) were synthesized and examined for the interaction with the immobilized concanavalin A(ConA) compared with 6-O-glucosyl and maltosyl CD. Oligosaccharides were converted to lactones at the reducing end, which was connected with 6-monoamino--CD forming an amide bond. For the analysis of the interaction between ConA immobilized on an aminosilane-hydrogel surface and various oligosaccharide CDs, a biosensor of the FISONS IAsys apparatus based on a resonant mirror detector (RMD) was used. As a result, it interacted with immobilized ConA and both maltosyl--CD(3) and maltosyl--CD(6), and glucosylglucono-amide--CD(7) with the association constants, Ka of 134, 833 and 8730 M–1, respectively.  相似文献

Particle monolayer formation at the air–water interface by polymer‐grafted colloidal silica was investigated. Methyl methacrylate (MMA) was polymerized from initiative bromide groups at colloidal silica surface by atom transfer radical polymerization. We obtained polymer‐grafted silica particle (SiO2‐PMMA) with relative narrow polydispersity of PMMA. For the polymer‐grafted particle with high graft density, particle monolayer formation was confirmed by π‐A isotherm measurement and SEM observation. Interparticle distance was controllable by surface pressure. Furthermore, grafted polymer chains were suggested to be fairly extended at the air–water interface. However, for the polymer‐grafted particle with low graft density, monolayer structure on substrate showed aggregation and voids. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The synthesis of (L )‐lactide oligomers from dimer to 64mer via an exponential growth strategy is described. By careful selection of orthogonal protective groups, the synthesis were conducted using a t‐butyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS) ether as the protective group of the hydroxyl group and benzyl (Bn) ester as the protective group of the carboxylic acid group. The yields of both the deprotection steps and coupling reactions using 1,3‐dicyclohexylcarbodiimide or 1‐[3‐(dimethylamino)propyl]‐3‐ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride were high (70–100%) and the absence of a requirement for conducting the majority of reactions under an inert atmosphere permitted a robust and efficient synthetic strategy to be developed. This allowed monodisperse dimer, tetramer, octamer, 16mer, 32mer, and 64mer materials to be prepared in gram quantities and fully characterized using mass spectrometry and size exclusion chromatography. Evaluation of the thermal and physical properties using thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, and small angle X‐ray scattering demonstrated a close correlation between the molecular structure of the well‐defined Poly(lactide) oligomers and their physical properties. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The structural stability of InN thin films on 3C-SiC(0 0 1) substrate is systematically investigated based on an empirical interatomic potential, which incorporates electrostatic energy due to covalent bond charges and ionic charges. The calculated energy differences among coherently grown 3C-InN(0 0 1), 3C-InN(0 0 1) with misfit dislocations (MDs), and 2H-InN(0 0 0 1) imply that the coherently grown 3C-InN(0 0 1) is stable when the film thickness is less than 7 monolayers (MLs) while 2H-InN(0 0 0 1) is stabilized for the thickness beyond 8 MLs. This is because InN layers in 2H-InN(0 0 0 1) are fully relaxed by one MD. The analysis of atomic configuration at the 3C-InN(0 0 1)/3C-SiC(0 0 1) interfaces reveals that the coordination number of interfacial atoms is quite different from that in the bulk region. Thus, 3C-InN(0 0 1) with MDs on 3C-SiC(0 0 1) is always metastable over entire range of film thickness, consistent with the successful fabrication of 2H-InN(0 0 0 1) on 3C-SiC(0 0 1) by the molecular beam epitaxy. These results suggest that the mismatch in atomic arrangements at the interface crucially affects the structural stability of InN thin films on 3C-SiC(0 0 1) substrate.  相似文献

The stability of spin-spiral and domain wall structures in an Fe monolayer on a W(1 1 0) substrate is theoretically investigated. By analyzing the exchange parameters obtained from first principles total energy calculations, we find that a competition between the nearest-neighbor ferromagnetic and long-distant antiferromagnetic exchange interactions leads to a stabilization of the spin-spiral structures. When the strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy (MCA) arising from the Fe/W(1 1 0) interface is introduced, however, the formation of the spin-spiral structures is suppressed and the ground state appears to be the ferromagnetic state—as observed in experiments. In addition, the strong MCA is found to play a key role in determining the domain wall structures.  相似文献

We have investigated the dynamical properties of the coherent anharmonic phonons generated in Bi under high density excitation. The time-resolved reflectivity in the intensely photoexcited Bi film is modulated by the coherent A(1g) phonon oscillation with a time-dependent oscillation period. As the pump power density is increased, the line shape of the A(1g) mode in the Fourier transformed spectra becomes asymmetric, and the redshift of the phonon frequency is observed. Analysis of the transient redshift with a wavelet transform reveals that the frequency of the A(1g) mode depends on the squared amplitude of the oscillation, which is attributed to an anharmonicity of the lattice potential.  相似文献

By using estimates on the frequency of large values of the Riemann zeta-function and modular L-functions attached to the full modular group SL(2, ℤ), we prove sharp upper and lower estimates of the mean square of standard L-functions attached to Siegel cusp forms which are Ikeda lifts, on boundaries and the central line of the critical strip. The mean square of spinor L-functions attached to Saito-Kurokawa lifts is also studied.  相似文献

Hot electrons and optical emission are measured from the rear surface of a metallic foil. The spectra of the optical emission in the near infrared region have a sharp spike around the wavelength of the incident laser pulse. The optical emission is ascribed to coherent transition radiation due to microbunching in the hot electron beam. It is found that the optical emission closely correlates with the hot electrons accelerated in resonance absorption.  相似文献
