[structure: see text] New fluorescent compounds (1), lariat ethers having plural pyrenylmethyl groups on the sidearms, were prepared, and their complexation behavior with alkaline earth metal cations was examined by fluorescence spectrometry. The pyrene excimer emission decreased accompanied with an increase in the monomer emission upon complexation with the metal ion. This finding is ascribed to the cooperative participation of one of the two sidearms in the complexation of the crown ring with the metal ion.  相似文献

Formation of singlet charge transfer (heteroexcimer) states in the course of the fluorescence quenching of lumiflavin and riboflavin tetrabutyrate by indole and N-methylindole have been directly observed by means of time-resolved absorption spectral measurements using a picosecond laser photolysis method. 4,5-Dihydro-3H-naphtho[1,8-bc]furans 4 and 6 which have various substituents (R1 and R2) have been synthesized from 8-oxo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-1-naphthyloxyacetic acids 1 and 3 or their ethyl esters 2 . The reaction of acids 1 and 3 with sodium acetate in acetic anhydride gave a mixture of furans 4 and 6 and lactones 5 and 7 . The ratios of the products were varied according to the types of substituents (R1 and R2) in acids 1 and 3 . As the substituent R1 (R2 = hydrogen) in acids 1 was changed from hydrogen to a methyl, ethyl or isopropyl group, production of furans 4 became more difficult. However, when a phenyl group was used as the substituent, furan 4 was obtained in good yield. Similarly, as the substituent R2 (R1 = hydrogen) in acids 1 was changed from hydrogen to a methyl, ethyl or isopropyl group, furan formation was more difficult. In contrast, acids 3 which had electron-withdrawing substituents such as chlorine, bromine or a nitro group at the 4-position afforded furans 6 in good yield. 4,5-Dihydro-3H-naphtho[1,8-bc]furans 4 and 4,5-dihydro-3H-naphtho[1,8-bc]furan-2-carbocylic acids 8 were synthesized from the reaction of esters 2 and potassium hydroxide in dioxane. When the substituents R1 or R2 in esters 2 were varied from hydrogen to a methyl, ethyl or isopropyl group the total yields of furans 4 and furancarboxylic acids 8 were reduced.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] A conjugated pi-electron compound, 2-aryl-3-silyl-1,3-butadiene, was easily prepared from 1-benzyloxy-3-silyl-2-propyne, bis(iodozincio)methane, and an aryl halide in the presence of nickel catalyst. The deterioration of zinc, zinc—calcium and manganese phosphate coatings and oxalate coatings on steel on heating was investigated by conversion electron Mössbauer spectrometry. and the chemical change of the coatings was analysed on the basis of the thermal characteristics of Zn3(PO4)2·4H2O, Zn2Fe(PO4)4·4H2O, CaZn2(PO4)2·2H2O, Fe3(PO4)2·8H2O. (Mn, Fe)5H2(PO4)4·4H2O and FeC2O4·2H2O. The steel substrate beneath the coatings influenced the thermal decomposition and evaporation of coating materials under the various heating atmospheres. The heat resistance of these coatings and the state of the substrate were also investigated.  相似文献

A direct method of simultaneously polymerizing and forming acetylene monomer to produce uniformly thin films of polyacetylene was investigated in terms of catalyst system, catalyst concentration, and polymerization temperature. The best catalyst was a Ti(OC4H9)4–Al(C2H5)3 system (Al/Ti = 3–4) and the critical concentration was 3 mmole/l. of Ti(OC4H9)4. Below the critical concentration, only a solid or a powder was obtained. The configuration of the polymers obtained depends strongly upon the polymerization temperature. Thus an all-cis polymer was obtained at temperatures lower than ?78°C, whereas an all-trans polymer resulted at temperatures higher than 150°C. Observations either in an electron microscope by direct transmission or in a scanning electron microscope showed that the film is composed of an accumulation of fibrils about 200–300 Å in width and of indefinite length.  相似文献

Bis-ε-aminocaproylaminocaproylhexamethylenediamine ( I ) was synthesized as an analog of 6-nylon pentamer diamine, and its incorporation into block copolymers was studied with the use of α,ω-dihydroxyl, α,ω-bisdimethylchlorosilyl, and α,ω-diepoxy polystyrene. In the course of the experiments, the stability and the reactivity of 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate and tetramethylene diisocyanate in aprotic dipolar solvents were examined by infrared spectroscopy. The only usable solvent, N-methylpyrrolidone, was found still inadequate for the synthesis involving I, diisocyanate, and α,ω-dihydroxyl polystyrene. A block copolymer having M n = 18,000 was obtained by the reaction of I and α,ω-diepoxy polystyrene. All Tg values of the block copolymers were above 90°C, higher than for polystyrenes with corresponding molecular weight.  相似文献

Copolymerization of acrylonitrile with styrene spontaneously occurred on addition of zinc chloride without addition of any other radical initiator. The composition of the copolymer approached that of strictly alternating copolymer as zinc chloride added to the copolymerization system increased. The significance of the apparent monomer reactivity ratios of this copolymerization system was studied from a kinetic point of view, and it was shown that the monomer sequence distribution is indicated by the apparent monomer reactivity ratios. Further, equations which represent the relation between the apparent monomer reactivity ratios and Q,e values at a given salt concentration were derived. These equations reasonably accounted for the decrease of the apparent monomer reactivity ratios of the copolymerization of acrylonitrile with styrene in the presence of zinc chloride and the behavior of the other acrylonitrile copolymerization systems in the presence of zinc chloride. The initiation step of the spontaneous radical copolymerization of acrylonitrile with styrene in the presence of zinc chloride was explained by a cross-initiation mechanism.  相似文献

The reaction of iron(III) (meso-tetrakis(N-methylpyridinium-4-yl)porphyrin (Fe(III)TMPyP) with nitric oxide (NO) was studied by electronic absorption spectroscopy, ESR, and electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical techniques in aqueous solutions with pH from 2.2 to 12.0. Fe(III)TMPyP has been found to undergo a reductive nitrosylation in all pHs, and the product of nitric oxide binding to the porphyrin has been determined as iron(II) porphyrin nitrosyl complex ([Fe(II)(NO)TMPyP]). The rate of the reductive nitrosylation exhibits a tendency to get faster with increase in pH. An intermediate species was observed around neutral pH by spectroelectrochemical technique and was proposed to be the iron(II) nitrosyl complex of the mu-oxo dimeric form of FeTMPyP, which is known to be a predominant in neutral solutions.  相似文献
