A functional microcapsule was prepared by encapsulating the fine crystalline ammonium tungstophosphate(AWP) in calcium alginate polymer(CaALG).The characterization of AWP-CaALG microcapsule was examined by SEM and EPMA.The adsorption behavior of Cs(I),Rb(I),Sr(II),Pd(II),Ru(III),Rh(III),La(III),Ce(III),Dy(III) and Zr(IV) was investigated by the batch method.The batch experiments were carried out by varying the shaking times,HNO 3 concentration,and initial concentration of metal ions.Relatively large K d values above 10 5 cm 3 /g for Cs(I) were obtained in the range of 0.1-5 M HNO 3,resulting in a separation factor of Cs/Rb exceeding 10 2.In contrast,the K d values of Sr(II),Pd(II),Ru(III),La(III),Dy(III),Ce(III) and Zr(IV) were considerably lower than 50 cm 3 /g.The K d value of Cs(I) decreased in the order of the coexisting ions,H + > Na + >> NH 4 +,and a linear relationship with a slop of about 1 was obtained between log K d and log [NH 4 + ]([NH 4 + ] > 0.01 M).The adsorption of Cs(I) was found to be controlled by chemisorption mechanism,and followed a Langmuir-type adsorption equation.A high uptake percentage of 99.4% for Cs(I) was obtained by using the dissolved solutions of spent fuel from FBR-JOYO(JAEA). 相似文献

Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert micromagnetic models were used to analyze the head field distributions and high-frequency responses for various soft magnetic underlayer thicknesses (t-SUL) and saturation magnetization flux densities (Bs) of single-pole-type (SPT) head-SUL systems. It was found that Bs of 10-12 kG and t-SUL of 30-45 nm would be sufficient for the examined head and perhaps for most next generation head-SUL systems. Antiferromagnetic coupling in the SUL affects the head and SUL magnetization and, eventually, the head field. With regard to the head magnetization response, it was found that the magnetization under the coil responded first, while the response at the main pole tip was quite slow, even compared with the head field. The main pole tip of the head was fully saturated and the main pole yoke was almost saturated, while the SUL was not saturated in the examined head-SUL system. 相似文献

A series of polystyrene (PS) and a small amount of ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) PS blends have been prepared by using
tetrahydrofuran (THF). Matrix PS has an Mw of 423,000 (Mw/Mn= 2.36) and UHMW-PS has either an Mw of 3,220,000 (Mw/Mn= 1.05) or 15,400,000 (Mw/Mn=1.30) in the range of concentration from 0 wt% to 1.5 wt%. The influence of a small amount of UHMW on dynamic viscoelasticity
was investigated. At the frequency lower than 0.001 rad/s, the enhancement of G′ was observed by the incorporation of a small
amount of UHMW. And the degree of enhancement was in the order of Mw of UHMW and its concentration. The measurement of uniaxial elongational viscosity for the blends was performed and the effects
of UHMW on strain-hardening properties were analyzed at equal strain-rate conditions. The concentration of UHMW where the
strain-hardening becomes substantially stronger was determined. To get more insight into the cause of enhancement of strain-hardening
at a certain concentration, the damping function from step-shear stress relaxation was measured. The influence of a small
amount of UHMW on the damping function was found to be small. It was interpreted, from time- and strain-dependency points,
that the enhancement of strain-hardening by a small amount of UHMW was governed by the long relaxation time.

A theoretical analysis has been proposed for the forced convection heat transfer from external surfaces immersed in non-Newtonian fluids of the power-law model. The integral treatment previously introduced for Newtonian fluids has been successfully extended to the non-Newtonian fluids over a flat plate and a wedge of an arbitrary included angle. The integral momentum and energy equations are transformed into a pair of characteristic equations, which can readily be solved for the velocity shape factor and the boundary layer thickness ratio, once the exponents in the expressions for the power-law model, free stream velocity and wall temperature variation are specified. It has been also found that an asymptotic expression derived under the assumption of large Prandtl number, is valid practically for all power-law fluids, and hence, can be used for a speedy, and yet accurate estimation of the local heat transfer to non-Newtonian fluids. 相似文献

Surface-relief gratings were directly fabricated onto a glass surface by UV-visible laser irradiation. The glass surface was pretreated by molten salt, including Ag ions. Periodic intensity modulation of the laser light was conducted with a phase mask or by an interference technique. A pattern generated by intensity modulation was precisely transcribed onto the glass surface and a surface-relief grating was formed. The period and depth of the grating were 0.5 to 10 microm and less than 0.8 microm, respectively. This paper shares results from a secondary analysis of data from the participation of Japanese, Singaporean, and U.S. students in the International Project on Mathematical Attainment (IPMA). IPMA was a longitudinal study to assess the mathematics achievement of primary students from their first year of schooling through the end of fifth grade. Tests were constructed to enable achievement on the same items to be assessed over multiple years, thus permitting the assessment of growth in achievement throughout primary school.
