The solubility of naphthalene in ethanol-octane mixtures was measured by the isothermal saturation method. The solution densities were determined and the partial and apparent molar volumes of naphthalene were calculated. The viscosity was measured with an Ubbelohde viscosimeter with a suspended level. The effect of quaternary ammonium salts on batch dyeing of cellulose materials with active dyes was examined. The turbulent properties of a supersonic jet were studied related to a high level of pressure pulsation found in model jets of a reentry flight vehicle approaching the landing ground. This study comprised measurements of total pressure at a small-size target using a dynamic pressure probe placed in a free jet. The most comprehensive data about jet turbulence can be obtained by direct transformation of the pressure reading at the stagnation point near the target into the normalized velocity. The oscillogram of normalized velocity produces the velocity average value, root-mean-square value as well as turbulence intensity and turbulence spectrum. It was demonstrated that a high level of turbulence for a high-head jet retains along the supersonic core length and at the beginning of subsonic interval. 相似文献

In this paper, one-parameter families of integer translates of the Gaussian and Lorentz functions are studied. For a Lorentz function, we obtain formulas for the coefficients of the series defining node functions and show that the limit value of node functions is given by a sample function. For systems of translates generated by the Gaussian and Lorentz functions as well as by the node functions related to them, we obtain explicit expressions for the Riesz constants and study the parameter-dependent behavior of these constants. While proving some of the results of this paper, we establish the monotonicity of a special ratio of two Jacobi theta functions, a fact which is of interest in itself. 相似文献

NMR spectra were recorded on a Bruker Avance III BioSpin spectrometer. The physicochemical characteristics of methanol-heptane
and methanol-octane mixtures were considered in combination with molecular dynamics simulation results. The conclusion was
drawn that methanol was structured in mixtures with heptane at concentrations of 0.04–0.06 alkane mole fractions. This peculiarity

The electrical and magnetic properties of the nanodiamond composites comprising nanodiamond, pyrolytic carbon, and nanosized pores were studied. The composites are p-type semiconductors and their resistance decreases by 12 orders of magnitude as the pyrocarbon-to-diamond ratio γ increases from 0 to 80 wt %. Evidence for paramagnetic properties of the nanodiamond composites was obtained. The observed properties are explained by increased concentration of surface Tamm states. The paramagnetic properties are explained in terms of the electron spins localized on the nanodiamond surface in the composite. 相似文献
