The structural changes within the Silver iodide (AgI) and Copper iodide (CuI) induced by pressure have been investigated using
an effective interaction potential. CuI and AgI in their parent zinc blende (ZnS) to rock salt (NaCl) through an intermediate
structure have been reported. The calculated values for the phase transition pressures and associate volume collapses are
generally in good agreement with measured data.

of dynamical variables, namely, Rabi frequencies and carrier phases of driven fields, a wide variety of the spectral behavior

Results on high radiance Yb3+-doped fiber lasers with novel double innerclad structures (double-D clad and four hole) and polarized output at ≈1090 nm are presented. We have demonstrated >40% of the total output power being polarized, making the fiber laser suitable for LIDAR and second-harmonic generation (SHG) applications. It also showed a 10-nm tuning range with low (less than 10 mW) average power variations. The narrow linewidth source was pumped with a low cost, low brightness laser diode, and exhibited a relatively low slope efficiency, which gives room for improvement by using a 976-nm pump source where Yb3+ has a narrower linewidth and at least five times higher absorption. 相似文献

We present a new improvement to the Alekseev inverse scattering method. This improved inverse scattering method is extended
to a double form, followed by the generation of some new solutions of the double-complex Kinnersley equations. As the double-complex
function method contains the Kramer-Neugebauer substitution and analytic continuation, a pair of real gravitation soliton
solutions of the Einstein’s field equations can be obtained from a double N-soliton solution. In the case of the flat Minkowski
space background solution, the general formulas of the new solutions are presented.

In relativistic theories, the assumption of proper mass constancy generally holds. We study gravitational relativistic mechanics
of point particle in the novel approach of proper mass varying under Minkowski force action. The motivation and objective
of this work are twofold: first, to show how the gravitational force can be included in the Special Relativity Mechanics framework,
and, second, to investigate possible consequences of the revision of conventional proper mass concept (in particular, to clarify
a proper mass role in the divergence problem). It is shown that photon motion in the gravitational field can be treated in
terms of massless refracting medium, what makes the gravity phenomenon compatible with SR Mechanics framework in the variable
proper mass approach.
Specifically, the problem of point particle in the spherical symmetric stationary gravitational field is studied in SR-based
Mechanics, and equations of motion in the Lorentz covariant form are obtained in the relativistic Lagrangean problem formulation.
The dependence of proper mass on potential field strength is derived from the Euler-Lagrange equations as well. One of new
results is the elimination of conventional 1/r divergence, which is known to be not removable in Schwarzschild gravitomechanics. Predictions of particle and photon gravitational
properties are in agreement with GR classical tests under weak-field conditions; however, deviations rise with potential field
strength. The conclusion is made that the approach of field-dependent proper mass is perspective for development of SR gravitational
mechanics and further studies of gravitational problems. 相似文献

Fluorescence, circular dichroism and molecular mechanics have been used to study the complexation of 2,3-dimethyl naphthalenedicarboxylate
with 2-hydroxypropyl-α-, -β and -γ-cyclodextrins (HPCDs) in aqueous solution. Emission spectra upon excitation of the naphthalenedicarboxylate group show two bands whose intensity
ratio R is quite sensitive to polarity. From the change of R and lifetimes averages <τ> with HPCD concentration and temperature were obtained the stoichiometry, the association constants and the enthalpy and entropy changes
during the complexation. R, <τ> and the fluorescence anisotropies (r) extrapolated at [HPCD]→∞ allows us to estimate the polarity and microviscosity of the media surrounding the guest when complexed. In addition,
the analysis of quenching and induced circular dichroism experiments and molecular mechanics calculations in the presence

We develop a separate 1319 and 1338 nm Nd:YAG laser system with a blazing grating (600 lines/mm). The resonator of this system
has a Littrow grating configuration and a highly reflective mirror, in which the zero-order diffraction of the grating acts
as the laser output. By virtue of the wavelength-dependent reflectivity of the grating, a single-wavelength laser at 1319
nm or 1338 nm can be realized. In view of the laser rate equations and using the distribution of the blazing grating, we analyze
