For evaluation of a chiral C2-symmetric bis(oxazoline) ligand, its Lewis acid complexes-catalyzed asymmetric 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions of nitrones with electron-deficient dipolarophiles, 3-(2-alkenoyl)-1,3-oxazolidin-2-ones, have been investigated and it was found that the cycloadditions using a Cu(II)-bis(oxazoline) complex under optimized reaction conditions induced extremely high enantioselectivity. 相似文献

A method was developed for semi-preparative scale enantioseparation of racemic homochlorcyclizine (HCZ) by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) on Chiralcel OD column. The best resolution was achieved using an eluent composed of n-hexane plus 0.2 M isopropylamine. By this method, about 5.0 mg of racemic HCZ could be resolved completely in one run. The optical purity of the enantiomers were both greater than 99.9%. The studies of antihistamine activity on guinea pig ileum demonstrated that l-HCZ is significantly more potent than d- and racemic HCZ. The pharmacokinetics of d- and l-HCZ after oral administration to rats also differed. The successful resolution of racemic HCZ permits comparison of the pharmacokinetics and antihistamine activity of the enantiomers. 相似文献

Electron-transfer reduction of molecular oxygen (O2) by the phenolate anion (1-) of a vitamin E model, 2,2,5,7,8-pentamethylchroman-6-ol (1H), occurred to produce superoxide anion, which could be directly detected by a low-temperature EPR measurement. The rate of electron transfer from 1- to O2 was relatively slow, since this process is energetically unfavourable. The ESI (electrospray ionization)-Q-TOF (tandem quadrupole/orthogonal-acceleration time-of-flight) mass spectrometer combined with the nano-HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) system was utilized to pinpoint the Cu-binding site in Cu,Zn-SOD (superoxide dismutase) protein. Cu,Zn-SOD was treated with hydrogen peroxide, intended to specifically oxidize histidine residues coordinated to the copper ion as a mass spectrometric probe. The oxidized Cu,Zn-SOD was then fragmented with the successive treatment of endoproteinase Asp-N and DTT (dithiothreitol). Separation of the peptide mixture with the nano-HPLC and the on-line ESI-Q-TOF MS analysis revealed that only two peptide fragments were oxidized to a significant extent. Further analyses of oxidized peptide fragments with LC-ESI-Q-TOF-MS/MS disclosed that three out of four Cu-coordinated histidine residues were specifically oxidized by action of a redox-active copper ion and hydrogen peroxide, demonstrating the copper-catalyzed oxidation of amino acid ligands could be a versatile tool for the mass spectrometric determination of the copper-binding site. In addition, proline and valine residues in the proximity of the Cu ion were found to be oxidized upon H(2)O(2) treatment. 相似文献

γ-irradiated acetone in polycrystalline CCl3F at 77 K has been studied by ESR to reveal that the acetone molecules tend to be oriented in CCl3F Matrix upon freezing the solution in ESR tubings. At higher concentrations both monomer and dimer radical cations of acetone are produced. The dimer cation is responsible for the optical absorption with λmax ≈ 740 nm. 相似文献

The layered oxide thermoelectric material β-Na0.67CoO2 has been studied by powder neutron diffraction, electric and magnetic measurements. This compound includes an edge-sharing CoO6 slab and a highly vacant Na+ sheet in a unit cell (space group symmetry C2/m, a=4.9023(4) Å, b=2.8280(2) Å, c=5.7198(6) Å and β=105.964(6)° at 300 K). The evaluated formal valence of cobalt ion, +3.33(1), is ascribed to the coexistence of Co3+ and Co4+ in the ratio 2:1. Polycrystalline β-Na0.67CoO2, a p-type thermoelectric material, exhibits metallic behavior of the electric resistivity below 300 K. The Curie-Weiss-type magnetic susceptibility indicates antiferromagnetic interactions between magnetic cobalt ions in the edge-sharing CoO6 slab. 相似文献

A series of 1-aminoalkyl-pyrrolo[2,3-c]azepin-8-one derivatives was synthesized and evaluated as alpha 1 adrenergic and serotonin 2 (5-HT2) receptor antagonists, with the aim of finding a novel antihypertensive agent potently exhibiting both activities. Some compounds with a 4-[4-(4-fluorobenzoyl)piperidino]butyl group at the 1-position exhibited both activities, and varied significantly in terms of the substituents at the 4-position of the pyrroloazepine ring. Among the compounds obtained in this study, (E)-1-[4-[4-(4-fluorobenzoyl)piperidino]-butyl]-4-hydroxyimino-7- methyl-1,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydropyrrolo[2,3-c]azepin-8-one (15a, SUN9221) displayed potent alpha 1-adrenergic antagonistic activity (pA2 = 8.89 +/- 0.21) and 5-HT2 antagonistic activity (pA2 = 8.74 +/- 0.22) in isolated guinea pig arteries. This compound exhibited antihypertensive activity and a duration of action equivalent to orally administered prazosin or doxazosin, 3 mg/kg, in conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats, as well as potent antiplatelet aggregation activity. 相似文献

The present work presents a useful comparison of micropore size distributions (MPSDs) obtained from gas adsorption and image analysis of high-resolution transmission electron micrographs. It is shown that the MPSD obtained for a chemical activated carbon is concordant with that obtained from CO2 adsorption. In addition, this technique has allowed us to obtain the MPSD of a carbon molecular sieve (CMS) prepared in our laboratory by a copyrolysis process, which could only be characterized by CO2 adsorption at 273 K (not by N2 adsorption at 77 K due to diffusional problems). The MPSD obtained by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) for the CMS is wider than that obtained by CO2 adsorption, suggesting that HRTEM is detecting the closed porosity existing in this sample, which is not accessible to gas adsorption. The existence of closed porosity in the CMS is explained considering the preparation method used. Thus, HRTEM combined with image analysis seems to be useful for structural analysis of narrow micropores including closed porosity. 相似文献
