A simple and efficient three-component procedure has been developed for the synthesis of a series of spiro-isoxazolo[5,4-b]pyridines/quinolines by one-pot condensation of isatins, 3-methylisoxazol-5-amine and enolizable cyclic carbonyl compounds. The protocol has been accomplished under solvent-free conditions by grinding the components at room temperature in presence of catalytic CH3COOH. The described process offers environmentally benign reaction conditions for the synthesis of pharmacologically important spirooxindole fused heterocycles with the advantages ofoperational simplicity, short reaction time and good to excellent yields of isolated pure product.  相似文献

Silver–polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanocomposite is synthesized by a simple chemical reduction method in aqueous media and characterized by various techniques such as UV–Visible spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy. The morphology of the obtained silver nanoparticles is spherical in shape with an average diameter of 24 nm. The prepared silver–PVA nanocomposite is demonstrated to detect the concentration of heavy metal contaminant cadmium in water based on linear change in surface plasmon resonance absorption strength. The antibacterial tests show the inhibiting action of this nanocomposite against pathogenic bacteria Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (gram negative), Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus aureus (gram positive), which are found commonly in water. These observed optical and antibacterial properties, suggest the possible utilization of prepared silver–PVA nanocomposite in the water purification application.  相似文献

A mathematical model corresponding to homogeneous chemical reactions under transient chronoamperometry conditions at hemispherical microelectrodes has been developed. The analytical solutions for the concentration of species and current were obtained using Duhamel's theorem. This closed-form theoretical expression pertains to the transient concentration profiles and fluxes of chemical species involved in chemical and electrochemical reactions at hemispherical microelectrodes. As t → ∞, the analytical expressions corresponding to the concentration and current approach steady-state values. The solutions obtained are explicit only under limiting current conditions. The approximate expressions for concentrations and current as functions of time corresponding to the EC' and CE mechanisms at hemispherical microelectrodes are also reported.  相似文献

Room temperatures ionic liquids are considered as miraculous solvents for biological system. Due to their inimitable properties and large variety of applications, they have been widely used in enzyme catalysis and protein stability and separation. The related information present in the current review is helpful to the researchers working in the field of biotechnology and biochemistry to design or choose an ionic liquid that can serve as a noble and selective solvent for any particular enzymatic reaction, protein preservation and other protein based applications. We have extensively analyzed the methods used for studying the protein–IL interaction which is useful in providing information about structural and conformational dynamics of protein. This can be helpful to develop and understanding about the effect of ionic liquids on stability and activity of proteins. In addition, the affect of physico-chemical properties of ionic liquids, viz. hydrogen bond capacity and hydrophobicity on protein stability are discussed.  相似文献

The chromone alkaloid dysoline (1), a new regioisomer of rohitukine (2) along with rohitukine and rohitukine-N-oxide (3) were isolated from the stem barks of Dysoxylum binectariferum. The structure of dysoline (1) was determined by extensive 2D-NMR studies and the absolute configuration was established by NOESY and CD spectra. Dysoline (1) consisted of a 5,7-dihydroxy-2-methylchromone nucleus substituted with a 2′-hydroxylated N-Me piperidine ring at the C-6 position. Dysoline differs from rohitukine by the position of the piperidine ring on the chromone nucleus. Dysoline displayed promising cytotoxicity in HT1080 fibrosarcoma cells with an IC50 of 0.21 μM, and also displayed significant inhibition of proinflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-6.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of some transition metal cis-3,7-dimethyl-2,6-octadiensemicarbazone (CDOSC) complexes are reported. The ligand CDOSC yields: [ML2 Cl2] and [ML2 Cl2] Cl type complexes, where M = CrIII, MnII, FeIII, CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, CdII and HgII, L = CDOSC. Structures of the complexes were determined using elemental analysis, molar conductivity, magnetic measurements, i.r. and electronic, as well as n.m.r spectra. CDOSC acts as a bidentate ligand in all the complexes. All the newly synthesized metal complexes, as well as the ligand, were screened for their antibacterial activity. All the complexes exhibit strong inhibitory action against Gram (+) bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Gram (−) bacteria Escherichia coli. The antibacterial activities of the complexes are stronger than those of the ligand CDOSC itself.  相似文献

 A novel synthesis of 6-fluoro-7-(5-aryl-1,3,4-thiadiazol/oxadiazol-2-yl-sulfanyl)-4-quinolone-3-carboxylic acids from 7-chloro-6-fluoro-4-quinolone-3-carboxylic acid and 5-substituted 1,3,4-thiadiazoles/oxadiazoles on basic alumina under microwave activation is described. All compounds were screened for their in vitro antibacterial activity against B. lichenformis, 2689, K. aerogens 2281, S. typhimurium 2501, E. herbicola 2491, and P. vulgaris 2027 and found to possess activities comparable to that of the standard drug norfloxacin.  相似文献

Six new methyl silicon (IV) precursors of the type [MeSi{ON?C(R)Ar}3] [when R = Me, Ar = 2‐C5H4N ( 1 ), 2‐C4H3O ( 2 ) or 2‐C4H3S ( 3 ); and when R = H, Ar = 2‐C5H4N ( 4 ), 2‐C4H3O ( 5 ) or 2‐C4H3S ( 6 )] were prepared and structurally characterized by various spectroscopic techniques. Molecular weight measurements and FAB (Fast Atomic Bombardment) mass spectral studies indicated their monomeric nature. 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectral studies suggested the oximate ligands to be monodentate in solution, which was confirmed by 29Si{1H} NMR signals in the region expected for tetra‐coordinated methylsilicon (IV) derivatives. Thermogravimetric analysis of 1 revealed the complex to be thermally labile, decomposing to a hybrid material of definite composition. Two representative compounds ( 2 and 4 ) were studied as single source molecular precursor for low‐temperature transformation to silica‐based hybrid materials using sol–gel technique. Formation of homogenous methyl‐bonded silica materials (MeSiO3/2) at low sintering temperature was observed. The thermogravimetric analysis of the methylsilica material indicated that silicon‐methyl bond is thermally stable up to a temperature of 400 °C. Reaction of 2 and Al(OPri)3 in equimolar ratio in anhydrous toluene yielded a brown‐colored viscous liquid of the composition [MeSi{ON?C(CH3)C4H3O}3.Al(OPri)3]. Spectroscopic techniques 1H, 13C{1H}, 27Al{1H} and 29Si{1H} NMR spectra of the viscous product indicated the presence of tetracoordination around both silicon and aluminum atoms. On hydrolysis it yielded methylated aluminosilicate material with high specific surface area (464 m2/g).
