For the first time iridium oxide (IrO2) nanotubes are synthesized by electrodeposition in a polycarbonate (PC) template. Potential cycling (90 cycles) between 0.0 and 0.9 V is used for the preparation of IrOx nanotubes onto the PC template with a pore diameter of 100 nm. Field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) images show, that IrO2 nanotubes with uniform diameters of 110±10 nm and an estimated length of 1–3 µm are formed. The electrochemical properties and the electrocatalytic activity of a glassy carbon‐IrOx nanotube modified electrode toward Cr3+ and As3+ oxidation are investigated. Finally, the modified electrode is used for micromolar detection of the proposed analytes using differential pulse voltammetry.  相似文献

5‐Acetyl‐3‐amino‐4‐aryl‐6‐methylthieno[2,3‐b]pyridine‐2‐carboxamides ( 5a,b ) were reacted with triethyl orthoformate or nitrous acid to give the corresponding pyrimidinones 6a,b and triazinones 7a,b . The reaction of 5a,b with acetic anhydride was carried out and its products were identified as a mixture of 8‐acetyl‐9‐aryl‐2,7‐dimethylpyrido[3′,2′:4,5]thieno[3,2‐d]pyrimidine‐4(3H)‐one ( 9a,b ) and related 5‐acetyl‐4‐aryl‐3‐biacetylamino‐6‐methylthieno[2,3‐b]pyridine‐2‐carbonitrile ( 10a,b ). Reaction of 7a with some halocompounds afforded the N‐alkylated triazinones 8a‐c . Chlorination of 6a,b and 9a,b with phosphorus oxychloride produced 4‐chloropyrimidines 11a‐d which were used as precursors for the rest of the target heterocycles. Some of the prepared compounds were tested in vitro for their antimicrobial activities.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive method for the determination of some metalloids and heavy metals in water samples is presented. The method is based on the preconcentration of the attachment of chelating functionalities with metalloids and toxic metals irreversibly and targeted towards toxic metals adsorbed on modified activated carbon, activated carbon and red soil particles at pH 3.0–9.0±0.2, followed by quantitative determination using instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA), on the absorbers. Attachment results from attraction that may be physical, chemical, electrical, or a combination of all three. The efficient removal of metalloids and toxic metals, especially arsenic, chromium and mercury is anticipated. The adsorption capacity of the chemically modified activated carbon materials was evaluated for the above mentioned metalloid and toxic metal ions in the presence of iron ions and simulated water samples. Red soil particles containing iron was utilized in the control of oxidation-reduction reaction with metalloids and toxic metals. The preconcentration of the elements of interest on red soil particles, activated carbon and modified activated carbon at different depths, pH and oxidation states was investigated. The results obtained showed good agreement with certified values giving relative errors of less than 10%.  相似文献

Herein we present the chemical function analysis of a recombinant sugar nucleotidyltransferase from the hyperthermophile Pyrococcus furiosus and its use in the one-pot synthesis of chloroacetyl- and alkyne-tagged analogues of uridinediphospho-N-acetylglucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc). The gene was originally annotated as a glucose-1-phosphate deoxythymidylyltransferase; however, kinetic analysis of a panel of sugar-1-phosphates with the protein shows that it is better described as a bifunctional protein that synthesizes UDP-GlcNAc from glucosamine-1-phosphate and acetyl coenzyme A (CoA). A new mass-spectrometry-based assay for the rapid analysis of the acyltransferase activity demonstrates that the enzyme can also accept cheaper truncated N-acetylcysteamine thioester substrates in place of the natural acetyl CoA. The enzyme can tolerate alkyne or chloride substitutions in the acyl moiety, thereby allowing the facile synthesis of tagged sugar nucleotides for future use in protein O-GlcNAc modification studies.  相似文献

A mild and efficient method for the copper-catalyzed arylation of phenylurea is described. The coupling reaction of phenylurea with different functionalized aryl iodides in the presence of air stable CuI, N,N′-dibenzylethylenediamine as a ligand, and KF/Al2O3 as a base gives symmetrical and unsymmetrical diarylureas in relatively high yields.  相似文献

The Poynting vector and the full-vectorial H and E-field profiles are considered for use in nanoscale silicon waveguides in this article. This paper reveals that the mode profile of a circular silicon nanowire is not circular and also has a strong axial field component. From the analysis, the characteristics of single mode operation and the vector field profiles of both circular and planar silicon nanowires are presented. The modal birefringence of rectangular silicon nanowires and power density in low-index region of a slot-type waveguide and designs of a compact polarization rotator are also presented in this work.  相似文献

Methyl ester derivatives of fatty acids were analyzed for the determination of the constituents of Datura alba seed oil. Gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometer was used for these analyses. Results delivered that there were saturated as well as unsaturated fatty acids in Datura alba seed oil. Total of 15 different fatty acid components were identified and quantified. Methyl linoleate was found in highest concentration (16.22%) among the identified analytes of interest. In addition methyl esters of Palmitic acid (6.59%), Oleic acid (5.41%) and Stearic acid (1.35%) were found. Concentrations of rest of the detected fatty acids were less than 1%. From the literature it appears that no such work has been performed for the determination of fatty acids in Datura alba seed oil.  相似文献

The objective of this work is to develop and validate spectrophotometric method for the determination of piroxicam in commercial dosage forms. The method is based on the chelation of the drug with Fe(III) to form pink coloured metal chelate at room temperature which absorbs maximally at 504 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range of 8–160 μg mL?1 (A = 1.07 × 10?3 + 7.75 × 10?3 C). Under the optimized experimental conditions, proposed method is validated as per the International Conference on Harmonisation guidelines. The limits of detection and quantitation for the proposed method are 0.775 and 2.348 μg mL?1, respectively. The proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of piroxicam in commercial dosage forms. The results are compared with the reference El‐Ries et al. spectrophotometric method.  相似文献
