The structural and electronic properties of thin hydrogenated polymorphous silicon films obtained by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition from hydrogen (H2) and monosilane (SiH4) gas mixture have been studied by means of transmission electron microscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy. It has been established that the studied films consist of the amorphous phase containing silicon nanocrystalline inclusions with the average size on the order of 4–5 nm and the volume fraction of 10%. A signal was observed in the hydrogenated polymorphous silicon films during the EPR investigation that is attributed to the electrons trapped in the conduction band tail of microcrystalline silicon. It has been shown that the introduction of a small fraction of nanocrystals into the amorphous silicon films nonadditively changes the electronic properties of the material. 相似文献

The investigation performed by means of Mössbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy demonstrated that the interaction in the system iron-amorphous carbon proceeds via the formation of nano-sized iron particles (10–40 nm) and the carbide nano- phases distributed over amorphous carbon matrix. The annealing of these samples causes a crystallization of the amorphous carbon, decomposition of nano-sized carbide phases and formation of iron nanoparticles (50–100 nm) encapsulated by graphite. 相似文献

The polyoxomolydate of the Keggin structure, PMo12O403-, catalyzes, under anaerobic conditions, oxygen transfer from sulfoxides to alkylarenes such as xanthene and diphenylmethane to yield xanthen-9-one and benzophenone, respectively. With use of 17O and 18O labeled phenylmethylsulfoxide it was shown that the sulfoxide is complexed by the polyoxometalate and the oxygen is transferred from the sulfoxide to the alkylarene. There is a good correlation between the reaction rate and the heterolytic benzylic C-H bond energy indicating a hydride transfer reaction from the alkylarene to the polyoxometalate-sulfoxide complex. In the case of triphenylmethane the resulting carbocation reacts to yield 9-phenylfluorene as the major product. The reaction kinetics supports such a reaction pathway. 相似文献
