The selective enhancement of membrane introduction mass spectrometry for non-polar alkanes, alkenes, and aromatic hydrocarbon
compounds by the application of acetonitrile as a chemical ionization reagent was investigated. Acetonitrile Cl is able to
produce specific fragment ions for many of the compounds test and this can be used to identify and quantify the parent neutrals.
This method provided relatively high detection limits of the test compounds. This method could potentially be useful for analytical

Selective polymeric extractants were prepared for preconcentration of Cibacron reactive red dye, a dye that is often applied
with Cibacron reactive blue and Cibacron reactive yellow for dyeing of fabrics. The best extractant was fabricated (in chloroform)
using methacrylic acid (as monomer), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (as crosslinker), AIBN (as initiator for polymerization),
and red dye as template molecule, with a molar stoichiometric ratio of 8.0:40.0:2.5:0.63, respectively. The structure of the
molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was robust, and resisted dissolution up to 260 °C. Compared with the un-imprinted polymer,
the imprinted product has a large specific surface area which improved its adsorption capacity. The effect of imprinting was
obvious from the adsorption capacity measured at pH 4 for red dye (the imprinted molecule), which was increased from 24.0
to 79.3 mg g−1 after imprinting. Equilibrium adsorption studies revealed that the dye-imprinted-polymer enables efficient extraction of
red dye even in the presence of blue and yellow dyes which have similar chemical natures to the red dye. The selectivity coefficients

red dye/dye, were 13.9 and 17.1 relative to the yellow and blue dyes, respectively. The MIP was found to be effective for red dye preconcentration,
with a preconcentration factor of 100, from tap water and treated textile wastewater. The factors affecting extraction of
red dye by the MIP were studied and optimized. Under the optimized extraction conditions, red dye was selectively quantified
in the presence of other competing dyes at a concentration of 20 μg L−1 from different water systems with satisfactory recoveries (91–95%) and RSD values (∼5.0%). 相似文献

When the ligand 1,4,5-triazanaphthalene (abbreviated as tan) is reacted with Cu(II) BF(4)(-) and ClO(4)(-) salts, a variety of mononuclear compounds has been found, all with the [Cu(tan)(4)] unit and varying amounts of weakly coordinating axial ligands and lattice solvents. Reproducible compounds formed include two purple compounds, analyzing as [Cu(tan)(4)](ClO(4))(2)(CH(3)OH)(2)(H(2)O) (1) and [Cu(tan)(4)](BF(4))(2)(CH(3)OH)(1.5)(H(2)O) (3), and two blue compounds, analyzing as [Cu(tan)(4)](ClO(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2) (2) and [Cu(tan)(4)](2)(BF(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2) (4). Upon standing at room temperature, red-coloured, mixed-valence dinuclear-based 3D coordination polymers are formed by conversion of the purple/blue products, of which [Cu(2)(tan)(4)](n)(BF(4))(3n) (5) and the isomorphic methanol-water adduct [Cu(tan)(4)](n)(BF(4))(3n)(CH(3)OH)(n)(H(2)O)(5n) (5A) are presented in this paper. This paper describes a simple and convenient strategy for reducing the dimensions of organic micro-and nanostructures on metal surfaces. By varying electrochemical desorption conditions, features patterned by dip-pen nanolithography or micro contact printing and made of linear alkanethiols or selenols can be gradually desorbed in a controlled fashion. The process is referred to as electrochemical whittling because the adsorbate desorption is initiated at the exterior of the feature and moves inward as a function of time. The whittling process and adsorbate desorption were studied as a function of substrate morphology, adsorbate head and tail groups, and electrolyte solvent and salt. Importantly, one can independently address different nanostructures made of different adsorbates and effect their miniaturization based upon ajudicious selection of adsorbate, applied potential, and supporting electrolyte. Thermal techniques, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and hot stage microscopy (HSM) have been used to study the interactions between furosemide and caffeine that are known to form a 1:1 cocrystal. This system has been used as an example to study the probable mechanism of cocrystal formation when the individual components, which are polymorphic, are heated. The study indicates that the phase transition of the low temperature stable polymorph of furosemide initiates cocrystal formation. This result suggests increased mass transfer rate can trigger cocrystal formation. The binary phase diagram (composition–temperature plots) of furosemide–cocrystal–caffeine system was determined from the DSC curves. The results imply that the cocrystal forms eutectic with caffeine but not with furosemide. This study has thus exemplified the use of DSC in understanding binary phase system where the two components form a cocrystal. 相似文献

A series of six organotin(IV) carboxylates [Me2SnL2] (1), [n-Bu2SnL2] (2), [n-Oct2SnL2] (3), [Me3SnL] (4), n-Bu3SnL (5) and [Ph3SnL] (6), where L = 3-(4-cyanophenyl) acrylic acid have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and NMR (1H, 13C). The complex (4) was also analyzed by single crystal X-ray analysis which showed distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry with polymeric bridging behavior. The complexes 1–6 were screened for antimicrobial activities and cytotoxicity. The results showed significant activity with few exceptions. The catalytic activity of complexes was assessed in transesterification reaction of Brassica campestris oil (triglycerides) to produce biodiesel (fatty acid methyl esters). The results showed that triorganotin(IV) complexes exhibited good catalytic activity than their di-analogues. 相似文献

This work about the development of yttria‐based polymeric coating using [bis(hydroxyethyl) amine] terminated polydimethylsiloxanes and yttrium trimethoxyethoxide inside the capillary. The coated capillary was utilized for online capillary microextraction and high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. The prepared coating material was characterized using scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, energy dispersive X‐ray spectrometry, and thermogravimetric analysis. The coated capillary with polymer presented better extraction efficiency compared with the pure yttria‐based coated capillary with applicability in extreme pH environments (pH 0–pH 14). Excellent extraction towards polyaromatic hydrocarbons, aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, phenols, and amides was observed with limit of detection ranging from 0.18 to 7.35 ng/mL (S/N = 3) and reproducibility in between 0.6 and 6.8% (n = 3). Capillary‐to‐capillary extraction analysis has presented reproducibility between 4.1 and 9.9%. The analysis provided linear response for seven selected phenols in the range of 5–200 ng/mL with R2 values between 0.9971 and 0.9998. The inter‐day, intra‐day, and capillary‐to‐capillary reproducibility for phenols was also <10%. Real sample analysis by spiking 5, 50, and 200 ng/mL of phenols in wastewater and pool‐water produced recovery between 84.7 and 94.3% and reproducibility within 7.6% (n = 3). 相似文献

Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were chemically functionalized by glutaric dihydrazide (GDH) and characterized with FT-IR technique. This new sorbent was used for enrichment and preconcentration of Co(II), Cd(II), Pb(II), and Pd(II) ions. The adsorption was achieved quantitatively on MWCNTs at pH 4.0, and then the retained metal ions on the adsorbent were eluted with 1.5 mol L?1 HNO3. The effects of analytical parameters including pH of the solution, eluent type, sample volume, and matrix ions were investigated for optimization of the presented procedure. The adsorption capacity of the adsorbent at optimum conditions was found to be 33.6, 29.2, 22.1, and 36.0 mg g?1 for Co(II), Cd(II), Pb(II), and Pd(II), respectively. The LOD values of the method were 0.16, 0.19, 0.17, and 0.12 ng mL?1 (3Sb, n = 10) for Co(II), Cd(II), Pb(II), and Pd(II), respectively. The RSDs values of the method were 0.75, 0.85, 1.16, and 1.30 ng mL?1 for Co(II), Cd(II), Pb(II), and Pd(II), respectively. The method was applied for the determination of analytes in soil, well water, and wastewater samples with satisfactory results. 相似文献

The development of organic electron acceptor materials is one of the key factors for realizing high-performance organic solar cells (OSCs). Nonfullerene electron acceptors, compared to traditional fullerene acceptor materials, have gained much impetus owing to their better optoelectronic tunabilities and lower cost, as well as higher stability. Therefore, 5 three-dimensional (3D) cross-shaped acceptor materials having a spirobifullerene core flanked with 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole are designed from a recently synthesized highly efficient acceptor molecule SF(BR) 4 and are investigated in detail with regard to their use as acceptor molecules in OSCs. The density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TDDFT) calculations have been performed for the estimation of frontier molecular orbital (FMO) analysis, density of states analysis, reorganization energies of electron and hole, dipole moment, open-circuit voltage, photo-physical characteristics, and transition density matrix analysis. In addition, the structure-property relationship is studied, and the influence of end-capped acceptor modifications on photovoltaic, photo-physical, and electronic properties of newly selected molecules ( H1-H5 ) is calculated and compared with reference ( R ) acceptor molecule SF(BR) 4 . The structural tailoring at terminals was found to effectively tune the FMO band gap, energy levels, absorption spectra, open-circuit voltage, reorganization energy, and binding energy value in selected molecules H1 to H5 . The 3D cross-shaped molecules H1 to H5 suppress the intermolecular aggregation in PTB7-Th blend, which leads to high efficiency of acceptor material H1 to H5 in OSCs. Consequently, better optoelectronic properties are achieved from designed molecules H1 to H5 . It is proposed that the conceptualized molecules are superior than highly efficient spirobifullerene core-based SF(BR) 4 acceptor molecules and, thus, are recommended to experiments for future developments of highly efficient solar cells. 相似文献
