Summary Stability constants of copper (II) and nickel (II) oxalates have been determined by paper electrophoresis. Oxalic acid (0.005 mol dm−3) was added to the background electrolyte: 0.1 mol dm−3 HClO4. The proportions of HC2O 4 and C2O 4 2− were varied by changing the pH of the electrolyte, these anions yielding the complex ions MHC2O 4 + and M(C2O4) 2 2− , average values of the stability constants for which are 102.4 and 107.6 respectively for Cu(II), and 102.3 and 106.5 for Ni(II) (μ=0.1,30°).  相似文献

We present a simple method for extracting interference effects between chemical shift anisotropy (CSA) and dipolar coupling from spin relaxation measurements in macromolecules, and we apply this method to extracting cross-correlation rates involving interference of amide15N CSA and15N–1H dipolar coupling and interference of carbonyl13C′ CSA and15N–13C′ dipolar coupling, in a small protein. A theoretical basis for the interpretation of these rates is presented. While it proves difficult to quantitatively separate the structural and dynamic contributions to these cross-correlation rates in the presence of anisotropic overall tumbling and a nonaxially symmetric chemical shift tensor, some useful qualitative correlations of data with protein structure can be seen when simplifying assumptions are made.  相似文献

A new discrete heiarchy of integrable equations is generated from a new Lax Operator and a canonical Bäcklund transformation of the system is derived using Sklyanin’s formalism, based on the classical r-matrix. By quantising the system a quantum analogue of the corresponding canonical Bäcklund transformation is obtained and certain properties of the associated Q-operator are examined. Solutions of the coupled, non-linear, two-dimensional, non-steady equations of continuity, momentum, and energy have been obtained for an alternating current argon arc located in a constant diameter channel of a converging nozzle configuration. Real gas properties, radiation, convection, viscous dissipation, and turbulence effects were incorporated in the analysis. A catalyst generated in situ from palladium acetate and tricyclohexylphosphine efficiently catalyzes the reduction of carboxylic acids with sodium hypophosphite in the presence of pivalic anhydride to give aldehydes with high selectivity. In this paper we present a method for determining the rotational diffusion tensor from NMR relaxation data using a combination of approximate and exact methods. The approximate method, which is computationally less intensive, computes values of the principal components of the diffusion tensor and estimates the Euler angles, which relate the principal axis frame of the diffusion tensor to the molecular frame. The approximate values of the principal components are then used as starting points for an exact calculation by a downhill simplex search for the principal components of the tensor over a grid of the space of Euler angles relating the diffusion tensor frame to the molecular frame. The search space of Euler angles is restricted using the tensor orientations calculated using the approximate method. The utility of this approach is demonstrated using both simulated and experimental relaxation data. A quality factor that determines the extent of the agreement between the measured and predicted relaxation data is provided. This approach is then used to estimate the relative orientation of SH3 and SH2 domains in the SH(32) dual-domain construct of Abelson kinase complexed with a consolidated ligand.  相似文献
