Enantioselective acetylation of (±)-4-(1-hydroxyethyl)benzenesulfonamide 6 with ‘Acylase I’ (No. A 2156) from Aspergillus melleus in the presence of vinyl acetate gave (R)-4-(1-acetoxyethyl)benzenesulfonamide 7 (98% ee) and (S)-6 (98% ee). Both (S)-6 and (R)-7 were individually converted to the (S)-hydroxyhexamide 2 (>99% ee) and (R)-hydroxyhexamide 2 (>99% ee), respectively. The absolute configuration of a metabolite (−)-hydroxyhexamide 2 from acetohexamide 1 was found to be S based on unequivocal chemical methods including X-ray analysis. 相似文献

Abstract— As an artificial model compound of the chlorophyll-protein complex in vivo , the chlorophyll/water-soluble macromolecular complexes were prepared by using synthetic linear polymers of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyethylene glycol (PEG), and a natural polymer of bovine serum albumin (BSA). By the method described here, it is possible to prepare an aqueous chlorophyll (Chl)-macromolecular complex solution of a desired Chi aggregate, such as: Chi a (670), Chi a (740) and Chi b ; and with a desired relative content and concentration. These procedures for preparing such complexes will have wide applicability for technical use in Chi studies. For example, extremely diluted aqueous complex solutions of at least 1 × 10-4% wt Chi a (670 or 740)-macromolecular complex / wt can be obtained without changing the spectral features. From viscosity measurements, the structures of the complexes were inferred: (1) for a linear macromolecular (PVA or PVP) complex, a Chi species is tightly surrounded by a chain of the polymer causing shrinkage of the chain; (2) globular BSA molecules surround Chi species to form a large complex. The mechanism of stabilization of Chi aggregates in thylakoid membrane was discussed concerning an analogy to the complexes studied here. 相似文献

Adsorption isotherms, the absolute adsorption rate, and the absolute desorption rate of carbon monoxide on rhodium polycrystalline surfaces were measured in the same manner as in our previous work on palladium. The absolute adsorption rate was proportional to pressure, independent of temperature and was a slightly non-linear function of the coverage of CO. The absolute desorption rate was proportional to the coverage and was an increasing function of temperature and pressure. These results are similar to those of palladium. 相似文献

The study of chemisorption of gases on catalyst surfaces is of primary importance in elucidating the mechanism of heterogeneous catalysis. Accordingly, the adsorption of each of the gases which participate in the catalysis has been studied separately in many cases. However, chemisorption on the catalyst surface during the progress of reaction, generally speaking, cannot be estimated from the adsorption equilibrium of reactants and products measured separately for each species, but depends upon the mechanism of the reaction, the interaction among the adsorbed species, the formation of reaction intermediates or surface complexes, and the area of active region on the surface. 相似文献

The adsorption of NO and its reaction with H2 over polycrystalline Pd were investigated using flash desorption technique and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy under 10?5 Pa pressure range of reactants and surface temperatures between 300 and 900 K. NO was adsorbed dissociatively onto the Pd surface above 500 K, and the heat of dissociative adsorption was ca. 126 kJ/mol. Atomic nitrogen was observed to accumulate on the Pd surface during the NO-H2 reaction, whose desorption rate exhibited second order kinetics and is expressed as follows: Vd = 10?9.8 ± 0.3exp(?67(kJ/mol)/RT) (cm2/atom·s). Hydrogenation of the adsorbed nitrogen proceeded rapidly at 485 K. It was confirmed from these results that formation of N2 and NH3 in the NO-H2 reaction proceeds through this atomically adsorbed nitrogen. The mechanism of the conversion of vinylazides into 2H-azirines is examined by use of ab initio MO calculations. It is ascertained that vinylnitrenes have very weak bonds between the vinylazides and nitrogen molecule parts. It seems to decompose readily into the two fragments. This is one of the most characteristic features of vinylazides. The reaction is shown to proceed with N2 at the tail of the vinylnitrene part. This mechanism accounts well for experimental results of the reaction. 相似文献
