Let X be an algebraic K3 surface, and let L be a base point free and big line bundle on X. If X admits a map of degree 2 to the projective plane branched over a smooth sextic and L is the pullback of the line bundle O\mathbbP2(3),{\mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^{2}}(3),} then the gonality of the smooth curves of the complete linear system |L| is not constant. The polarized K3 surface (X, L) consisting of the K3 surface X and the line bundle L is called Donagi–Morrison’s example. In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the polarized K3 surface (X, L) consisting of a 2-elementary K3 surface X and an ample line bundle L to be Donagi–Morrison’s example.  相似文献

Solvation structure of the zinc(II) ion in N,N-dimethylpropionamide (DMPA) was studied by Raman spectroscopy at varying temperature and by quantum mechanical calculations. No significant ion-pair formation was found for the Zn(ClO4)2 solution in the molality range m(Zn) < 1.5 mol kg(-1), and the solvation number of the zinc(II) ion was determined to be 4, indicating that 6-coordination of DMPA is sterically hindered. Interestingly, DMPA molecules are under equilibrium between planar cis and nonplanar staggered conformers, and the latter is more preferred in the coordination sphere, while the reverse is the case in the bulk. The DeltaG degrees , DeltaH degrees , and TDeltaS degrees values of conformational change from planar cis to nonplanar staggered in the coordination sphere were obtained to be -0.9, -8.5, and -7.5 kJ mol(-1), respectively. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations show that the planar cis conformer is more favorable than the nonplanar staggered one in the 1:2 cluster, as is the case for a single DMPA molecule and H(DMPA)+, indicating that there hardly occurs solvent-solvent interaction through the metal ion in the Zn2+-DMPA 1:2 cluster. On the other hand, the SCF energy of [Zn(planar cis-DMPA)4-n(nonplanar staggered DMPA)n]2+ (n = 0-4) decreases with increasing n, implying that the nonplanar staggered conformer is preferred in the solvate ion. It is thus concluded that solvent-solvent interaction through space, or solvation steric effect, plays a crucial role in the conformational equilibrium in the coordination sphere of the four-solvate metal ion.  相似文献

Exploration of novel organic luminophores that exhibit thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) in the aggregated state is very crucial for advance of delayed luminescence-based applications such as time-gated bio-sensing and temperature sensing. We report herein that synthesis, photophysical properties, molecular and crystal structures, and theoretical calculations of 2,6-bis (diarylamino)benzophenones. Absorption spectra in solution and calculations using density functional theory (DFT) method revealed that the optical excitation took place through intramolecular charge-transfer from one diarylamino moiety to an aroyl group. While the benzophenones did not luminesce in solution, the solids of the benzophenones emitted green light with moderate-to-good quantum yields. Thus, the benzophenones exhibit aggregation-induced emission. Based on the lifetime measurement, the green emission of the solids was found to include TADF. The emergence of the TADF is supported by the small energy gap between the excited singlet and triplet states, which was estimated by time-dependent DFT calculations. Thin films of poly(methyl methacrylate) doped by the benzophenones also showed green prompt and delayed fluorescence whose lifetimes were in the order of microseconds. Linear correlation between logarithm value of TADF lifetime and temperature was observed with the benzophenone in powder, suggesting that the benzophenones can serve as molecular thermometers workable under aqueous conditions.  相似文献

A study of the photopolymerization of vinyl monomers in the presence of tetramethyltetrazene (TMT) was made. TMT was found to act as an effective sensitizer. In the photopolymerization of vinyl monomers such as methyl methacrylate or styrene the rate of polymerization was expressed by the equation: Rp = k[TMT]1/2[monomer]. The chain-transfer constant of TMT under ultraviolet irradiation was estimated to be 3.8 × 10?2 for the above monomers. A linear correlation was found to exist between the reactivity of dimethylamino radical toward the vinyl monomers and e values for the corresponding monomers.  相似文献

We report calculations of the ground state energy and binding curve of the chromium dimer using the variational and diffusion quantum Monte Carlo (VMC and DMC) methods. We examined various single‐determinant and multideterminant wavefunctions multiplied by a Jastrow factor as a trial/guiding wavefunction for VMC/DMC. The molecular orbitals in the single determinants were calculated using restricted or unrestricted Hartree–Fock or density functional theory (DFT) calculations where five commonly used local (SVWN5), semilocal (PW91 and BLYP), and hybrid (B1LYP and B3LYP) functionals were examined. The multideterminant expansions were obtained from the generalized valence bond and (truncated) unrestricted configuration interaction with single and double excitations (UCISD) methods. We also examined a UCISD wavefunction in which UCISD expansions were added to the UB3LYP single‐determinant reference, and their coefficients were optimized at the VMC level. In addition to the wavefunction dependence, the effects of pseudopotentials and backflow transformation were also investigated. The UB3LYP single‐determinant and multideterminant wavefunctions were found to give the variationally best DMC energies within the framework of single‐determinant and multideterminants, respectively, though both the DMC energies were higher than twice the DMC atomic energy. Some of the VMC binding curves show a flat or quite shallow well bottom, which gets recovered deeper by DMC. All the DMC binding curves have a minimum indicating a bound state, but the unrestricted ones overestimate the equilibrium bond length. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A dendritic bisphosphonate carrying three bisphosphonate (BP) units in close proximity was designed as a ligand to conjugate large therapeutic molecules for their bone selective delivery. The Bu3P-catalyzed conjugate addition of nitromethane to vinylidene bisphosphonate was effective to construct a quaternary carbon center carrying BP units. Owing to multivalent interactions, the dendritic bisphosphonate showed considerable affinity for the bone mineral hydroxyapatite even in the presence of a competitor, demonstrating potential as a bone targeting ligand.  相似文献

Novel platinum(II) organometallic dinuclear complexes and oligomers with two types of phenanthroline ligands, namely 3,8-diethynylphenanthroline (L1) and 3,8-bis-(4-ethynyl-phenylethynyl)-1,10-phenanthroline (L2), were synthesized from trans-Pt(PBu3)2(1-ethynyl-4-methyl-benzene)Cl and trans-Pt(PBu3)2Cl2 by transmetalation of copper ion. The alternative procedure targeted platinum oligomer termination selection of either chloride or respective phenanthrolines and was successfully performed with different purifications by extraction and column chromatography. The structural formulae of these platinum complexes and oligomers were revealed with by analysis of both 31P{1H}-NMR and 1H-NMR spectral data. Alternative preparations of platinum oligomers with two types between chloride and respective phenanthroline termination are very useful for the selective synthesis for hybrid polymers with the coupling reaction with two different platinum oligomers with different diethynylaryl ligands. The platinum organometallic compounds showed similar absorption bands in the UV–Vis region. Those prepared with L1 had a strong absorption band at around 400 nm, assignable to the lowest energy metal-perturbed 1[ππ*] transitions, while in compounds prepared with L2, the strong band appeared around 410 nm, because L2 has an extended π conjugation relative to L1. No distinct differences were observed in the absorption spectra of these platinum oligomers between the different terminal structures, chloride or various phenanthrolines. The luminescence spectra of the platinum compounds prepared with either L1 or L2, however, showed a distinct difference. Those with L1 showed only a phosphorescence assignable to a typical metal-perturbed 3[ππ*] transition with vibronic progressions centered at around 530 nm in deoxygenated CH2Cl2 at room temperature, while those with L2 showed weak dual emissions assignable to a mixture of typical metal-perturbed 1[ππ*] and 3[ππ*] transitions in the visible region.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural analysis of a quintuple [6]helicene with a corannulene core is reported. The compound was synthesized from corannulene in three steps including a five‐fold intramolecular direct arylation. X‐ray crystallographic analysis revealed a C5‐symmetric propeller‐shaped structure and one‐dimensional alignment in the solid state. The enantiomers of the quintuple [6]helicene were successfully separated by HPLC, and the chirality of the two fractions was identified by CD spectroscopy. A kinetic study yielded a racemization barrier of 34.2 kcal mol?1, which is slightly lower than that of pristine [6]helicene. DFT calculations indicate a rapid bowl‐to‐bowl inversion of the corannulene moiety and a step‐by‐step chiral inversion pathway for the five [6]helicene moieties.  相似文献

The methyl acrylate dimer (MAD) is a sterically hindered macromonomer, and the propagating radical can fragment to an unsaturated end group. The propagation‐rate coefficient (kp) for MAD was obtained by pulsed‐laser polymerization (PLP). The Mark–Houwink–Sakaruda parameters required for the analysis of the molecular weight distributions (MWDs) were obtained by multiple‐detector gel permeation chromatography (GPC) with on‐line viscometry. The small radical created by the fragmentation results in a short‐chain polymer that means the MWD may no longer be given by that expected for “ideal” PLP conditions; simulations suggest that the degree of polymerization required for “ideal” PLP conditions can be obtained from the primary point of inflection provided the GPC traces also show a clear secondary inflection point (radicals terminated by the second, rather than the first, pulse subsequent to initiation). Over the temperature range of 40–75 °C, the data can be best fitted by kp/dm3 mol?1 s?1 = 106.1 exp(?29.5 kJ mol?1), with a moderately large joint confidence interval for the Arrhenius parameters. The data are consistent with an increased activation energy and reduced frequency factor as compared with acrylate or methacrylate; both of these changes can be ascribed to hindrance. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
