The effect of infiltrating on a La0.85Sr0.15MnO3/Ce0.9Gd0.1O1.95 11-layer electrochemical reactor with CeO2 and Ce0.8Pr0.2O2?δ was studied in propene oxidation at open-circuit voltage and under polarization as a function of reaction temperature. This work outlined the importance of catalytic and electrochemical properties of infiltrated material on the ability to increase propene conversion under polarization with good faradaic efficiency. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was used to study the effect of infiltration material on electrode properties. The infiltration of a mixed ionic and electronic conductor, like Ce0.8Pr0.2O2?δ , increased the electrode performance at low temperature but decreased the lifetime of the oxygen ion promoters on the catalyst/electrode surface, reducing the faradaic efficiency of the reaction. The infiltration of CeO2 provided high propene conversion at open circuit and high effect of polarization associated with good faradaic efficiency, especially at low temperature. 相似文献

The kinetics of the reaction of CH2O with a quasi-aromatic metal complex (1,1,2,8,9,9-hexamethyl-4,6-dioxa-5-hydro-3,7,10,14-tetraazacyclotetradecane-2,7,10,12-tetraene)copper(II), [Cu(PnAO)-6H]0 (AH), have been studied spectrophotometrically under neutral conditions in 1/3(v/v) MeOH–H2O. The Cu, 2N, 3C quasi-aromatic heterocyclic ring in AH is highly reactive towards CH2O at the central-aromatic-carbon atom, C(12) and the following reaction mechanism is proposed.
The compounds AH, A—CH2OH and A—CH2—A were isolated and identified by i.r spectroscopy and by elemental analysis. The kinetic data supported the proposed reaction sequence. All reactions were second order overall. The rate constants and corresponding activation parameters for every step were obtained and are discussed. 相似文献

The fluorescence and photodissociation of rhodamine 575 cations confined to a quadrupole ion trap are observed during laser irradiation at 488 nm. The kinetics of photodissociation is measured by time-dependent mass spectra and time-dependent fluorescence. The rhodamine ion signal and fluorescence decay are studied as functions of buffer gas pressure, laser fluence, and irradiation time. The decay rates of the ions in the mass spectra agree with decay rates of the fluorescence. Some of the fragment ions also fluoresce and further dissociate. The photodissociation rate is found to depend on the incident laser fluence and buffer gas pressure. The implications of rapid absorption/fluorescence cycling for photodissociation of dye-labeled biomolecular ions under continuous irradiation are discussed. 相似文献

Supramolecular polymers are a class of macromolecules stabilized by weak non‐covalent interactions. These self‐assembled aggregates typically undergo stimuli‐induced reversible assembly and disassembly. They thus hold great promise as so‐called functional materials. In this work, we present the design, synthesis, and responsive behavior of a short supramolecular oligomeric system based on two hetero‐complementary subunits. These “monomers” consist of a tetrathiafulvalene‐functionalized calix[4]pyrrole (TTF‐C[4]P) and a glycol diester‐linked bis‐2,5,7‐trinitrodicyanomethylenefluorene‐4‐carboxylate (TNDCF), respectively. We show that when mixed in organic solvents, such as CHCl3, CH2ClCH2Cl, and methylcyclohexane, supramolecular aggregation takes place to produce short oligomers stabilized by hydrogen bonding and donor–acceptor charge‐transfer (CT) interactions. The self‐associated materials were characterized by 1H NMR and UV/Vis/NIR absorption spectroscopy, as well as by concentration‐ and temperature‐dependent absorption spectroscopy and dynamic light scattering (DLS) analyses of both the monomeric and oligomerized species. The self‐associated system produced from TTF‐C[4]P and TNDCF exhibits a concentration‐dependent aggregation behavior typical of supramolecular polymers. Further support for the proposed self‐assembly came from theoretical calculations. The fluorescence emitting properties of TNDCF are quenched under conditions that promote the formation of supramolecular aggregates containing TTF‐C[4]P and TNDCF. This quenching effect has been utilized as a probe for the detection of substrates in the form of anions (i.e., chloride) and nitroaromatic explosives (i.e., 1,3,5‐trinitrobenzene). A new and unnatural type of phospholipids with the head group attached to the 2-position of the glycerol backbone has been synthesized and shown to be a good substrate for secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2). To investigate the unexpected sPLA2 activity, we have compared three different phospholipids by using fluorescence techniques and HPLC, namely: (R)-1,2-dipalmitoyl-glycero-3-phosphocholine (hereafter referred to as 1R), (R)-1-O-hexadecyl-2-palmitoyl-glycero-3-phoshocholine (2R), and (S)-1-O-hexadecyl-3-palmitoyl-glycero-2-phosphocholine (3S). Furthermore, to understand the underlying mechanisms for the observed differences, we have performed molecular dynamics simulations to clarify on a structural level the substrate specificity of sPLA2 toward phospholipid analogues with their head groups in the 2-position of the glycerol backbone. We have studied the lipids above 1R, 2R, and 3S as well as their enantiomers 1S, 2S, and 3R. In the simulations of sPLA2-1S and sPLA2-3R, structural distortion in the binding cleft induced by the phospholipids showed that these are not substrates for sPLA2. In the case of the phospholipids 1R, 2R, and 3S, our simulations revealed that the difference observed experimentally in sPLA2 activity might be caused by reduced access of water molecules to the active site. We have monitored the number of water molecules that enter the active site region for the different sPLA2-phospholipid complexes and found that the probability of a water molecule reaching the correct position such that hydrolysis can occur is reduced for the unnatural lipids. The relative water count follows 1R > 2R > 3S. This is in good agreement with experimental data that indicate the same trend for sPLA2 activity: 1R > 2R > 3S. 相似文献

Increased versatility for the synthesis of proteins and peptides by native chemical ligation requires the ability to ligate at positions other than Cys. Here, we report that Raney nickel can be used under standard conditions for the selective desulfurization of Cys in the presence of Cys(Acm).
