We studied three-dimensional angular distributions and longitudinal momentum spectra of electrons ejected in transfer plus ionization (TI), i.e., the ejection of one and the capture of a second target electron, for ion-helium collisions. We observe a pronounced structure strongly focused opposite to the projectile beam direction, which we associate with a new correlated TI mechanism proposed recently. This process contributes significantly to the total cross sections over a broad range of perturbations η, even at η as large as 0.5, where uncorrelated TI mechanisms were thought to be dominant.  相似文献

It is shown how one can transform scalar first-order ordinarydifferential equations which admit non-local symmetries of theexponential type to integrable equations admitting canonicalexponential non-local symmetries. As examples we invoke theAbel equation of the second kind, the Riccati equation and naturalgeneralizations of these. The synthesis of 7(Z), 11(Z)-Nonacosadiene (1), the pheromone1 of Drosophila melanogaster has been reported2 recently from a tetrahydrophyridine derivative involving a silicon induced fragmentation reaction as the crucial step. 9(Z)-Tricosene (2) also known as Muscalure and Muscanone is the biologically most active hydrocarbon, isolated from the extracts of cuticular and fecal lipids of sexually mature female houseflies, Musca Domestica. Several synthetic approaches3 for the synthesis of (2) have been reported in the literature. In this communication, we wish to report a novel synthetic approach for the pheromones (1) and (2), employing stepwise alkylation of N,N-dimethylacetone hydrazone (3) as the key step of the synthesis.  相似文献

A massless field propagating on spherically symmetric black hole metrics such as the Schwarzschild, Reissner–Nordström and Reissner–Nordström–de Sitter backgrounds is considered. In particular, explicit formulae in terms of transcendental functions for the scattering of massless scalar particles off black holes are derived within a Born approximation. It is shown that the conditions on the existence of the Born integral forbid a straightforward extraction of the quasi normal modes using the Born approximation for the scattering amplitude. Such a method has been used in literature. We suggest a novel, well defined method, to extract the large imaginary part of quasinormal modes via the Coulomb-like phase shift. Furthermore, we compare the numerically evaluated exact scattering amplitude with the Born one to find that the approximation is not very useful for the scattering of massless scalar, electromagnetic as well as gravitational waves from black holes.  相似文献

The gas-phase valence binding energy spectrum of isolated ion-pairs of the commonly used [1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium][bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide)] room-temperature ionic liquid is obtained by photoionization of a molecular beam of ionic liquid vapor by extreme ultraviolet light. The isolated ion-pair nature of the ionic liquid vapor is corroborated by single photon ionization mass spectroscopy, complemented by computed vaporization energetics of ion-pairs and clusters of ion-pairs. The valence binding energy spectrum of the isolated ion-pairs is discussed in comparison with available liquid-phase data and theoretical density functional theory calculations.  相似文献

The results on the phase transitions in p-n-heptyloxybenzylidene-p-aminobenzoic acid are reported. The microscopic and X-ray studies show that the compound goes over from smectic C to nematic phase directly. The transition entropies and specific heat are determined using differential scanning calorimetry. The translational order parameter is determined using low angle X-ray intensity measurements. The tilt angle in smectic C phase is found to be 56° and is independent of temperature. The X-ray data also lead to the conclusion that the compound exists as a dimer.  相似文献

Obliquely propagating altra-low-frequency dust-electromagnetic waves in a self-gravitating, warm, magnetized, two fluid dusty plasma system have been investigated. Two special cases, namely, dust-Alfvén mode propagating parallel to the external magnetic field and dustmagnetosonic mode propagating perpendicular to the external magnetic field have also been considered. It has been shown that effects of self-gravitational field, dust fluid temperature, and obliqueness significantly modify the dispersion properties of these ultra-low-frequency dust-electromagnetic modes. It is also found that in parallel propagating dust-Alfvén mode these effects play no role, but in obliquely propagating dust-Alfvén mode or perpendicular propagating dust-magnetosonic mode the effect of self-gravitational field plays destabilizing role whereas the effect of dust/ion fluid temperature plays stabilizing role.  相似文献

The elastic and viscoelastic properties of nylon-6 films with different structural forms and different degrees of crystallinity, obtained by heat setting nylon-6 films at various temperatures, without constraint, have been investigated. The elastic modulus increases with increasing degree of crystallinity. The values of the transverse elastic moduli for completely amorphous and completely crystalline samples have been calculated on the basis of these results. The measurements of dynamic mechanical properties were carried out at two different frequencies, viz., 11 Hz and 110 Hz, over a range of temperature from room temperature to 150°C under ambient conditions of humidity. It is observed that the moisture content increases whereas the glass transition temperature decreases with increasing temperature of pretreatment. The activation energy of the α transition has also been calculated.  相似文献

The transition process from steady convection to chaos is experimentally studied in thermocapillary convections of floating half zone. The onset of temperature oscillations in the liquid bridge of floating half zone and further transitions of the temporal convective behaviour are detected by measuring the temperature in the liquid bridge. The fast Fourier transform reveals the frequency and amplitude characteristics of the flow transition. The experimental results indicate the existence of a sequence of period-doubling bifurcations that culminate in chaos. The measured Feigenbaum numbers are δ2 =4.69 and δ4 = 4.6, which are comparable with the theoretical asymptotic value δ=4.669.  相似文献
