A method for the determination of Cinchona extract (whose main components are the alkaloids cinchonine, cinchonidine, quinidine, and quinine) in beverages by liquid chromatography was developed. A beverage with an alcohol content of more than 10% was loaded onto an OASIS HLB solid-phase extraction cartridge, after it was adjusted to pH 10 with 28% ammonium hydroxide. Other beverages were centrifuged at 4000 rpm for 5 min, and the supernatant was loaded onto the cartridge. The cartridge was washed with water followed by 15% methanol, and the Cinchona alkaloids were eluted with methanol. The Cinchona alkaloids in the eluate were chromatographed on an L-column ODS (4.6 mm id x 150 mm) with methanol and 20 mmol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate (3 + 7) as the mobile phase. Cinchona alkaloids were monitored with an ultraviolet (UV) detector at 230 nm, and with a fluorescence detector at 405 nm for cinchonine and cinchonidine and 450 nm for quinidine and quinine (excitation at 235 nm). The calibration curves for Cinchona alkaloids with the UV detector showed good linearity in the range of 2-400 microg/mL. The detection limit of each Cinchona alkaloid, taken to be the concentration at which the absorption spectrum could be identified, was 2 microg/mL. The recovery of Cinchona alkaloids added at a level of 100 microg/g to various kinds of beverages was 87.6-96.5%, and the coefficients of variation were less than 3.3%. A number of beverage samples, some labeled to contain bitter substances, were analyzed by the proposed method. Quinine was detected in 2 samples of carbonated beverage.  相似文献

A new dendritic oligoarylamine, N,N,N',N',N",N"-hexakis[4-(di-4-anisylamino)phenyl]- 1,3,5-benzenetriamine (BTA) 2, which contains a 1,3,5-benzenetriamine molecular unit as an potential precursor of a high-spin molecule and three oligoarylamine moieties as spin-carrying units surrounding the core BTA, has been prepared by the sequential palladium-catalyzed amination reactions. The redox property has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry, and the highly charged states up to the hexacation are accessible to 2. The polycationic high-spin species have been generated by stepwise chemical oxidation, and the electronic structures have been examined in detail by the continuous wave (CW) and pulsed ESR spectroscopy in comparison with the previously studied 1. The pulsed ESR technique enabled us to determine the definite spin multiplicity of the generated polycationic species of 2. It was confirmed that the dominant oxidized species observed by the two- and three-electron oxidations were assigned to the spin triplet 2(2+) and the spin quartet 2(3+), respectively. Moreover, these high-spin polycationic species turned out to be far more stable as compared to 1, and the isolation of 2(3+) as the SbCl(6)(-) salt has been accomplished. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility for the 2(3+)(SbCl(6)(-))(3) salt revealed that the intramolecular ferromagnetic interaction exists in 2(3+), and moreover, the trication 2(3+) was found to be deformed in the solid state.  相似文献

Potassium acyltrifluoroborates (KATs) were prepared through copper(I)‐catalyzed borylation of aldehydes and subsequent oxidation. This synthetic route is characterized by the wide range of aldehydes accessible, favorable step economy, mild reaction conditions, and tolerance of various functional groups, and it enables the facile generation of a range of KATs, for example, bearing halide, sulfide, acetal, or ester moieties. Moreover, this method was applied to the three‐step synthesis of various α‐amino acid analogues that bear a KAT moiety on the C‐terminus by using naturally occurring amino acids as the starting material.  相似文献

Recently, graphene sheet is one of interesting systems to realize novel electronic properties. Especially, interaction between graphene and adsorbed oxygen molecule is very important to control electronic condition. In this paper, we employed some aromatic hydrocarbons as simple systems of graphene sheet and ab initio MO calculations were carried out to investigate inter-molecular interaction. It is found that not triplet but singlet O2 molecule have potential of chemisorption onto graphene surface. From the calculated potential energy surface (PES) for distance between benzene and O2 molecules, meta-stable structure is found at about 1.5 Å with potential barrier. In the optimized structure of its meta-stable state, structural strain can be relaxed through bending of planer benzene ring. Its energy is estimated at 70.10 kcal/mol for benzene. We also estimated the strain effects for naphthalene and pyrene molecules as larger case of graphene and they were 80.85 and 72.45 kcal/mol, respectively.  相似文献

A series of symmetrical trimeric liquid crystalline compounds of which the molecular structure with a central core of 1,3,5-benzene attached by three rod-like mesogenic Schiff base moieties via the propylene spacers and ether linkages has successfully been synthesised and characterised by infra red and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic techniques. All the star-shaped compounds in this series exhibit predominantly SmC phase except the analogue possessing terminal C8H17 group. It is apparent that the members with even parity from C10H21 to C16H33 show enantiotropic SmC phase while the member with longest terminal chain of C18H37 is inclined to monotropic smectogen. The X-ray diffraction measurements reveal that the tilted smectic layer structures of the SmC phase are confirmed to have an obvious sharp peak at small angles of 2θ ~ 1.03°–1.48° with d-spacing values of 4.01–4.58 nm, which are corresponding to tilt angles of ~48° in the SmC phase.  相似文献

Background

The ubiquitin ligase COP1, COnstitutively Photomorphogenic 1, functions in many biological responses in mammalian cells, but its downstream pathway remains unclear.

Results

Here, we identified FIP200, a key regulator of mammalian autophagy, as a novel COP1-interacting protein by yeast two-hybrid screening. The interaction was confirmed by a GST-pulldown assay. Split-GFP analysis revealed that interaction between COP1 and FIP200 predominantly occurred in the cytoplasm and was enhanced in cells treated with UV irradiation. Different forms of FIP200 protein were expressed in cultured mammalian cells, and ectopic expression of COP1 reduced one of such forms.

Conclusions

These data suggest that COP1 modulates FIP200-associated activities, which may contribute to a variety of cellular functions that COP1 is involved in.  相似文献

We have developed a novel synthetic method that enables us to easily synthesize metal‐capsulated carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in a laboratory by using a combined technology of electrospinning‐metallization and microwave heating. These techniques greatly shorten the time for the synthesis of the CNTs in comparison with the conventional methods. TEM analysis confirmed a successful formation of the CNTs, and the resulting CNTs were multi‐walled and found to be about 25–100 nm in diameters. The products prepared by heating at 600 and 900°C exhibited less‐developed and strongly curved CNTs, whereas the products prepared by heating at 700 and 800°C relatively well‐developed long CNTs. Small Agn nanoclusters (n<10) have been emerging as promising materials as sensing, biolabeling, and catalysis because of their unique electronic states and optical properties. However, studying synthesis, structure determination, and exploration of their properties remain major challenges as a result of the low stability of small Ag nanoclusters. Herein, we synthesized an atomically precise face‐centered‐cubic‐type small {Ag7}5+ nanocluster supported by a novel triangular hollow polyoxometalate (POM) framework [Si3W27O96]18?. The cluster showed unique {Ag7}5+‐to‐POM charge transfer bands in both visible and UV light regions. Furthermore, this small {Ag7}5+ nanocluster exhibited an unprecedented ultrastability in solution, despite having exposed Ag sites that can be accessed by small molecules, such as O2, water, and solvents.  相似文献
