The two-step polymerization process of two well-defined polymeric silane coupling agents, triethoxysilyl-terminated polystyrene with molecular weights equal to 2400 [TESi-PS (2400)] and 8000 [TESi-PS (8000)], catalyzed by 0.1 mol/kg CH3SO3H, was traced as a function of reaction time using gel-permeation chromatography (GPC). Two sets of GPC traces, collected during the condensation, were then converted to two-dimensional (2D) correlation spectra by using generalized 2D correlation theory. The 2D correlation spectra elucidated details of the aggregate–aggregate correlations [in particular, the difference between the correlations of TESi-PS (2400) and TESi-PS (8000)], thus demonstrating the effect of aggregation on the polymerization.  相似文献

The novel nickel-substituted, dimeric phosphotungstate [Ni(3)Na(H(2)O)(2)(PW(9)O(34))(2)](11-) (1) has been synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and electrochemistry. X-ray single-crystal analysis was carried out on Na(11)[Ni(3)Na(H(2)O)(2)(PW(9)O(34))(2)].21.25H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 12.2467(6) A, b = 16.6031(7) A, c = 22.4017(12) A, alpha = 73.9870(10) degrees, beta = 87.6060(10) degrees, gamma = 79.344(2) degrees, and Z = 2. The polyanion consists of two lacunary B-alpha-[PW(9)O(34)](9-) Keggin moieties linked via three nickel(II) centers and a sodium ion. The structure of 1 is composed of two fused Keggin fragments that represent different Baker-Figgis isomers (alpha- vs beta-type). Electrochemical studies show that 1 exhibits a stable and reproducible voltammetric pattern, with a first wave featuring a chemically reversible four-electron/four-proton process. An investigation of the magnetic properties indicates that the three nickel centers exhibit ferromagnetic exchange interaction.  相似文献

Interaction of the lacunary [alpha-XW(9)O(33)](9-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) with Fe(3+) ions in acidic, aqueous medium leads to the formation of dimeric polyoxoanions, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) in high yield. X-ray single-crystal analyses were carried out on Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-AsW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O, which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/m, with a = 20.2493(18) A, b = 15.2678(13) A, c = 16.0689(14) A, beta = 95.766(2) degrees, and Z = 2; Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SbW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O is isomorphous with a = 20.1542(18) A, b = 15.2204(13) A, c = 16.1469(14) A, and beta = 95.795(2) degrees. The selenium and tellurium analogues are also reported, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](4-) (X = Se(IV), Te(IV)). They are synthesized from sodium tungstate and a source of the heteroatom as precursors. X-ray single-crystal analysis was carried out on Cs(4)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)] x 21H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P macro 1, with a = 12.6648(10) A, b = 12.8247(10) A, c = 16.1588(13) A, alpha = 75.6540(10) degrees, beta = 87.9550(10) degrees, gamma = 64.3610(10) gamma, and Z = 1. All title polyanions consist of two (beta-XW(9)O(33)) units joined by a central pair and a peripheral pair of Fe(3+) ions leading to a structure with idealized C(2h) symmetry. It was also possible to synthesize the Cr(III) derivatives [Cr(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)), the tungstoselenates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16)(-)(4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), and the tungstotellurates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-TeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16-4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), as determined by FTIR. The electrochemical properties of the iron-containing species were also studied. Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry aided in distinguishing between Fe(3+) and W(6+) waves. By variation of pH and scan rate, it was possible to observe the stepwise reduction of the Fe(3+) centers.  相似文献

The isotope ratios of ethanol, an important constituent or ingredient of some foods and various beverages and fuels, provide information about biological and geographical origin and quality. We have developed an improved method for measuring the isotope ratio of ethanol in various samples by gas chromatography-high temperature conversion or combustion-isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC-TC/C-IRMS) with headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME). A HS-SPME method was developed by optimizing several different parameters, including salt addition, incubation temperature and time, and extraction time. The HS-SPME method enabled us to determine the isotope ratio at low ethanol concentrations (0.08 mM) in 50 min with good precision (+/-0.3 per thousand for delta(13)C and +/-5 per thousand for deltaD). An advantage of this technique is that it can be adapted for use with samples which have high viscosity and contain many matrix compounds, such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.  相似文献

In order to elucidate the characteristic features of commercial methylcellulose precisely, O-methylcellulose model copolymers consisting of 2,3,6-tri-O-methylanhydroglucose unit (236MeAGU) and 2-O-methylanhydroglucose unit (2MeAGU) with various composition ratios were synthesized via cationic ring-opening copolymerization of the corresponding glucose orthoester derivatives, subsequent removal of pivaloyl and allyl groups, and methylation. The structure of the obtained copolymers was confirmed by 1H-, 13C-NMR, and FT-IR. Temperature-dependent turbidity measurement verified their thermoresponsive behavior in aqueous solution. The lower critical solution temperature was tuned from 63 to 45 °C above 47 mol-% 236MeAGU content. The hydrophobicity along the cellulose chain was dominant to determine their physical properties. However, the aqueous properties of the MC model copolymers were strongly affected by the slight difference of the composition ratio. The present method would provide further details of the structure–property relationship of O-methylcellulose.  相似文献

Two types of new ternary carbides, Zr2Al4C5 and Zr3Al4C6, have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. The crystal structures were refined from laboratory X-ray powder diffraction data (CuKα1) using the Rietveld method. These carbides form a homologous series with the general formula (ZrC)mAl4C3 (m=2 and 3). The crystal structures can be regarded as intergrowth structures where the Al4C3-type [Al4C4] layers are the same, while the NaCl-type [ZrmCm+1] layers increase in thickness with increasing m value. The new carbides are most probably the end members of continuous solid-solutions (ZrC)m[Al4−xSix]C3 with 0?x?0.44.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive method for the determination of musty odorants, 2-methylisoborneol (MIB) and geosmin (GSM), in environmental water was developed by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. MIB and GSM were separated within 10 min using a DB-1 capillary column and detected in the selective ion monitoring mode. HS-SPME using a polydimethylsiloxane/divinylbenzene fiber provided effective sample enrichment, and was carried out by fiber exposition at 70 degrees C for 30 min. Using this method, the calibration curves of MIB and GSM were linear in the range of 0-500 pg/mL, with a correlation coefficient above 0.9977 (n=24). The detection limits (S/N=3) of MIB and GSM were 0.9 and 0.6 pg/mL, respectively. This method was successfully applied to the analysis of environmental water samples without interference peaks.  相似文献

Co-assembling vaccines composed of a lipidated HER2-derived antigenic CH401 peptide and either a lipophilic adjuvant, Pam3CSK4, α-GalCer, or lipid A 506, were evaluated as breast cancer vaccine candidates. This vaccine design was aimed to inherit both antigen multivalency and antigen-specific immunostimulation properties, observed in reported self-adjuvanting vaccine candidates, by using self-assembly and adjuvant-conjugated antigens. Under vaccination concentrations, respective lipophilic adjuvants underwent co-assembly with lipidated CH401, which boosted the anti-CH401 IgG and IgM production. In particular, α-GalCer was responsible for the most significant immune activation. Therefore, the newly developed vaccine design enabled the optimization of adjuvants against the antigenic CH401 peptide in a simple preparatory manner. Overall, the co-assembling vaccine design opens the door for efficient and practical self-adjuvanting vaccine development.  相似文献

To expand the repertoire of our benzyl-protection strategy for solid-phase glycopeptide synthesis, an O-sulfated glycopeptide was chosen as the synthetic target. Trisaccharyl serine derivatives (Galβ1-4-GlcNAcβ1-2-Manα1-3-Ser) carrying (4-methoxyphenyl)methyl (MPM) groups at either 3-O or 6-O of the Gal residue were prepared through three stereoselective glycosylations. Cleavage of MPM followed by reaction with Me3N·SO3 efficiently afforded 3-O- and 6-O-sulfo-glycoserines, respectively. A preliminary debenzylation study using the sulfated glycoserines revealed that the sulfate groups persisted under ‘low-acidity TfOH’ conditions, when using a limited amount of TfOH and extending the reaction period. The 3-O-sulfo-glycoserine was then introduced into an icosapeptide modeled after an α-dystroglycan fragment by a combination of automated and manual solid-phase peptide synthesis procedures. The synthesized glycopeptide was successfully debenzylated by the low-acidity TfOH cocktail with slight damage to the sulfate functionality.  相似文献
