Relative sensitivity factors (RSF) (Fe=1) were determined for steel, aluminium and copper standard samples by direct current glow discharge mass spectrometry using Kr and Xe as discharge gas. In general, the RSF values in Kr and Xe were higher than in Ar; however for S and P in Kr gas and P, As and Se in Xe gas they were considerably lower. This decrease is related to the relative importance of the Penning ionization process in overall ionization of the sputtered species. The results showed the percentage of Penning ionization to account for 75.6–82.0% for Se, As and P and 64.2% for S.  相似文献

Summary The temperature-dependency of the separation of fullerenes in liquid chromatography (LC) has been examined using various alkyl bonded stationary phases. It has been found that a maximum retention temperature exists with long alkyl bonded stationary phases, whereas there is no similar effect with the newly synthesized alkyl bonded phases which have two phenyl groups at the base of the bonded phase. The interpretation of the retention behavior of fullerenes in the low temperature region on alkyl bonded stationary phases is discussed using information obtained by CP-MAS solid-state NMR spectroscopy and LC.  相似文献

Using a molecular fluorine laser at 157 nm wavelength, submicron patterning of organosilane self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) is demonstrated utilizing mask-contact photolithography. An organosilane, namely, octadecyltrimethoxysilane [ODS, CH(3)(CH(2))(17)Si(OCH(3))(3)], SAM is chemisorbed onto Si substrates covered with a 2 nm thick oxide layer and subsequently patterned using the laser. The optical path of the laser beam and the photomask-sample space are evacuated and then backfilled and purged with nitrogen during laser firing. The resulting pattern is investigated using various measurement techniques. The scanning probe microscopy images show that patterns are transferred to the SAM-covered Si substrates and that 500 nm features are successfully photoprinted in this way.  相似文献

 In dc glow discharge mass spectrometry, the addition of small amounts of H2 to pure Ar as discharge gas has greatly increased the ion intensities of elements compared with the conventional method using pure Ar. This phenomenon was also observed for the addition of H2 to pure Kr. The reason for the increase of the ion intensities of elements was studied by using a Kr gas mixture containing 0.2% (v/v) H2. The ion intensities of the elements P, Se and As (whose first ionization potentials are higher than the energy levels of the excited state of Kr) did not increase even if the Kr/H2 gas mixture was used. The results show that the addition of H2 significantly contributed to increasing the number of metastable argon or krypton atoms (Penning ionization). Single-layer (SL) carbon tubes were produced by arc evaporation of graphite rods containing iron-group metals (Fe, Co, Ni, Fe/Co, Co/Ni, Fe/Ni) under He and Ar gas. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed that these elemental and binary metals, excluding Fe which need a special atmosphere (a mixture of Ar and CH4), showed catalytic activity producing SL tubes under pure inactive gases. Fe/Ni alloy was the most effectual catalysts for producing SL tubes. The highest abundance of SL tubes in raw soot was estimated to be ~ 10% from TEM observation. Smoke particles directly caught on TEM grids near an evaporation source during arcburning were also investigated, and it was suggested that small metal particles were first formed in the gas phase and then SL tubes grew from them.  相似文献

Polysubstituted anilines were prepared by the palladium-catalyzed cross-benzannulation of conjugated aminoenynes 1-4 with diynes 8. The reaction proceeded in a highly regioselective manner under mild conditions, and the anilines were obtained as single regioisomers. Our method complements the well-known precedures for the preparation of polysubstituted anilines which are widely used in organic synthesis.  相似文献

Nanoprobe chemistry offers a promising approach for the construction of nanostructures consisting of organic molecules by employing the tip of a scanning probe microscope. In a previous report, we demonstrated that a nitroso-terminated surface on an organosilane self-assembled monolayer could be converted into an amino-terminated surface by applying such a nanoprobe electrochemical technique. This paper reports on surface-potential reversibility originating from a reversible chemical reaction between amino and nitroso groups. In addition, we demonstrate surface-potential memory based on this chemical reversibility. Amino-terminated SAMs were prepared from p-aminophenyl-trimethoxysilane through chemical vapor deposition. Surface potentials were acquired by Kelvin force microscopy. When scanning probe lithography was conducted with a gold tip at positive-bias voltages, the surface potential of the scanned area shifted dramatically in the negative direction. Scanning with negative-bias voltages led to positive shift in the surface potential of the scanned area. The surface potential could be recovered even after multiple scannings with positive and negative applied bias voltages. On the basis of this discovery, we also succeeded in demonstrating surface-potential memory via our nanoprobe electrochemical technique.  相似文献
