Silica nanoparticles with high concentration were prepared by the sol–gel process based on the Stöber method using tetraethoxysilane as a starting material. It was found that silica sol with about 4 wt% in concentration and with a diameter of about 10 nm was obtained by controlling the reaction conditions in the Stöber process. By removing the solvent under a reduced pressure, the particle concentration was increased up to 15 wt% without aggregation.  相似文献

Abstract

To confirm the potential usefulness of amino acid residues as protecting groups for sugar hydroxyls, methyl 2,3-di-O-glycyl-α-D-glucopyranoside (5) and methyl 4,6-di-O-glycyl-2,3-di-O-methyl-α-D-gluco-pyranoside (7) were synthesized as reference compounds. Conditions were then established for the removal of these aminoacyl groups from the sugar molecules. The reference compounds were easily prepared by condensation of methyl α-D-glucopyranoside derivatives with N-protected glycine in the presence of dicyclohexyl-carbodiimide (DCC). The aminoacyl groups were removed by alkaline treatment, as were conventional acyl groups and also with ease by enzymatic hydrolysis using Pronase E. Conventional ester and ether protecting groups are not removed by such enzymatic treatment. Removal of aminoacyl group from sugar moieties on a practical scale is also described.  相似文献

alpha-Tocopherol (alpha-Toc) was solubilized in aqueous solutions using 13 solubilizing agents and the products of oxidation by oxygen in the presence and the absence of Cu(II) were analyzed by HPLC. In the presence of Cu(II), the oxidation was accelerated and 5-formyl-7,8-dimethyltocol and alpha-tocoquinone were the major oxidation products. Their yields greatly increased in the presence of Cu(II). The yields and the rates of formation of the products were dependent on the properties of solubilizing agents and other conditions as well as the presence of Cu(II) or other metal ions. It is suggested that slight changes in the structure of the solubilizing agents affect the course of the reaction.  相似文献

Cefodizime (THR-221) is a new semi-synthetic cephalosporin. A high-performance liquid chromatographic method has been developed for the determination of cefodizime in biological materials. A plasma or serum sample was deproteinized with methanol and the resulting methanol eluate was concentrated to a volume of 0.5 ml. Urine and bile samples were diluted with buffer and each diluted sample was filtered. Faeces samples were homogenized and the supernate obtained after centrifugation was filtered. Visceral tissue samples were homogenized, the centrifuged supernate was deproteinized with methanol, and the methanol eluate was concentrated to a volume of 0.5 ml. Aliquots of each preparation were chromatographed on a reversed-phase column with an ion-pair chromatographic technique on a high-performance liquid chromatograph equipped with an UV detector set at 264 nm. The detection limits for cefodizime were 0.1 microgram/ml in plasma or serum, 0.3 microgram/ml in bile, and 0.5 microgram/ml in urine, 0.5 microgram/g in faeces and visceral tissue. This precise and sensitive assay for the determination of cefodizime is described, and its stability in several media is reported.  相似文献

Newly designed fluorophore systems with feather-like structures were constructed by connecting bisanthracene building units via a concise reaction sequence of bromination, etherification, and desilylation. Spectroscopic characterizations revealed that all of the fluorophore systems achieved high light absorptivity and high emission efficiency by preventing closely spaced anthracene chromophores from mutual interactions to reduce concomitant energy loss by fluorescence quenching. The application of fluorophore systems for the preparation of light-harvesting dyad materials has successfully demonstrated their potential utility as versatile photofunctional tools.  相似文献

Poly(4‐n‐alkylstyrene)s with six kinds of n‐alkyl groups such as methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, hexyl, and octyl groups covering wide molecular weight range from around 5 k to over 100 k were precisely synthesized by living anionic polymerizations. It was confirmed that all the polymers obtained have narrow molecular weight distribution, that is, Mw/Mn is all less than 1.1, by SEC. Tgs of all the polymers were estimated by DSC measurements and it turned out to be clear that their molecular weight dependence was well described by the Fox–Flory equations. Furthermore, it is evident that Tg monotonically decreases as a number of carbon atoms of n‐alkyl group is increased, though Tg values are all 20 K or more higher than those reported previously for the same polymer series. This is because backbone mobility increases by introducing longer n‐alkyl side groups with high mobility, while Tg difference in between this work and the previous one may due to the experimental conditions and also to the molecular weight range adopted. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
