Sulfonyl Ketenimines as Key Intermediates in One‐Pot Synthesis of N‐Sulfonyl‐2‐alkaneimidoyl Selenocyanates

Sulfonyl‐ketenimine intermediates, generated by the addition of Cu acetylides to sulfonyl azides, are trapped by KSeCN to afford N‐sulfonyl‐2‐alkaneimidoyl selenocyanates in moderate‐to‐good yields.     

Formation of Phosphorylated 3H‐Pyrroles from NefIsocyanidePerkow Adducts and Tosylmethyl Isocyanide

Imidoyl chlorides, generated from isocyanides and acyl chlorides, react with trialkyl phosphites, in a Perkow‐type reaction, to afford 3‐(alkylimino)‐2‐[(dialkyloxyphosphoryl)oxy]acrylates, which undergo a smooth reaction with tosylmethyl isocyanide (TsMIC) to furnish 4‐(alkylamino)‐3‐[(dialkyloxyphosphoryl)oxy]‐5‐[(4‐methylphenyl)sulfonyl]‐3H‐pyrrole‐3‐carboxylates in moderate‐to‐good yields.     

Copper‐Catalyzed Tandem Synthesis of Functionalized Sulfonyl‐yn‐imines from Sodium Arylsulfinates,Trichloroacetonitrile, and Terminal Alkynes

A one‐pot synthesis of functionalized sulfonyl‐yn‐imines via a Cu‐catalyzed tandem reaction of sodium arylsulfinates, trichloroacetonitrile, and terminal alkynes has been developed.     

Vilsmeier Reagent: An Efficient Reagent for the Transformation of 2-Aminobenzamides into Quinazolin-4(3H)-one Derivatives

Clean and easy preparation of quinazolin-4(3H)-one derivatives using 2-aminobenzamides and Vilsmeier reagent is described. 2-Aminobenzamides were converted into the corresponding quinazolinones under mild and efficient conditions, in good yields without undesirable by-products.

(Liquid + liquid) equilibrium for ternary mixtures of {heptane + aromatic compounds + [EMpy][ESO4]} at T = 298.15 K

(Liquid + liquid) equilibrium (LLE) data for the ternary systems (heptane + toluene + 1-ethyl-3-methylpyridinium ethylsulfate) and (heptane  + benzene + 1-ethyl-3-methylpyridinium ethylsulfate) were measured at T = 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. The selectivity and aromatic distribution coefficients, calculated from the equilibrium data, were used to determine if this ionic liquid can be used as a potential extracting solvent for the separation of aromatic compounds from heptane. The consistency of tie-line data was ascertained by applying the Othmer–Tobias and Hand equations.     

Reaction of Primary Alkylamines,Heterocumulenes, and Isatoic Anhydride,Catalyzed by Magnetic Fe3O4 Nanoparticles in H2O

An efficient protocol for the one‐pot reaction of isatoic anhydride (=1,2‐dihydro‐4H‐3,1‐benzoxazine‐2,4‐dione), primary alkylamines, and heterocumulenes (isothiocyanates and isocyanates) in H₂O catalyzed by magnetically recoverable Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles is described.     

Efficient synthesis of highly substituted thiophenes from acetylenic esters,ethyl bromopyruvate,and tetramethylthiourea
